A unique brand new spacious, high specification duplex apartment with secure basement parking, *Gym access & common courtyard at our Art Deco development in Central Penarth.
Penarth is an affluent seaside resort on the west of central Cardiff, in the Vale of Glamorgan. Visit Penarth Pier, Penarth Marina, Cardiff Bay, The Barrage Walk or Mermaid Quay, all nearby.
Great access links to Cardiff city centre, just 10 mins by car or by train.
The Moorwell is an award winning development in Central Penarth. Upgraded and redeveloped in 2020.
This executive two bedroom duplex apartment is set on the first floor, at the front of the building, with double-height windows from the original façade. An open-plan layout on the ground floor, with LVT oak floors throughout. A small private balcony with composite decking leads from the upstairs lobby, overlooking the rear communal courtyard. Lift access is available to all upper floors in the building.
Entertainment is covered with a huge 75 inch LG Smart TV in the living area, offering all the usual Freeview channels and apps (Netflix/Spotify/Amazon Prime.....) . Super speed Wi-Fi from Virgin fibre broadband is free and unlimited; you can even plug in your devices by Ethernet cable if necessary.
If you fancy cooking during your stay the Sigma 3 kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven, induction hob, built-in microwave, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, Tassimo coffee machine, as well as the usual cookware, crockery and cutlery you'd naturally expect. You'll also find a washer-dryer in the utility room beside the kitchen.
Sleep in comfort in the cosy bedrooms on the second floor, with huge Queen size beds and crisp Egyptian white cotton bed linen. [Both bedrooms can be set up as Twin Beds on request, at least 7 days prior to arrival] There's also a pull out double sofa bed in the living area, suitable for two adults or children.
Both bedrooms have private en-suite bathrooms with showers. There's also a common bathroom on the ground floor that has a bath. In addition, we provide fresh white luxury towels and essential bathroom amenities for your stay.
Dimplex electric heating keeps you warm and provides hot water. Tell us your expected arrival time, and we'll have the apartment warm and cosy ready for you to settle in. There is a Fire Alarm with sprinkler system for your safety, secure video door entry system, and CCTV in all the common areas of the building.
*GYM ACCESS - Complimentary Anytime Fitness gym access is available to all guest's over the age of 18, during staffed hours, and at the discretion of the gym management. Photo ID, proof of age and reservation are required to be shown for entry.

The original building was owned by the Sadler brothers, running a successful automobile business from the 1920's. The building changed hands in the 1950's and became Moorwell Motors. Over 100 years of history and a distinct architectural style have been incorporated into the redevelopment of the building into unique luxury apartments. Penarth is the wealthiest seaside resort in Cardiff.
Dingle Park is next to the building if you fancy a quick stroll, or turn in the other direction and head a few minutes along the road to the shops and cafes on the high street. Alexandra Park is just after the shops and leads you down to the beachfront and Penarth Pier.
Barry Island Beach and Pleasure Park is just a 20 minute drive from Penarth.
PARKING - Secure underground parking is available for one vehicle per booking.
BY CAR - The Moorwell is conveniently located on the main Windsor Road high street, just 10 mins drive to Cardiff City Centre.
BY TRAIN - Dingle St Station is immediately behind the building, TFW trains run every 15 minutes and take just 10 minutes to get you right into the centre of Cardiff.
LOCAL SHOPPING - You'll find a host of national supermarkets and local boutique stores and eateries just a few minutes walk along the Windsor Road high street heading towards Beach Road.
A complimentary Welcome Pack is included offering a selection of essentials to help you settle in and feel right at home when you arrive.
We use noise monitoring devices across all our properties. These devices only monitor the decibel noise level and cannot record or listen to any activity in the property. To avoid disturbance and parties on our premises we have our Quiet Time rule and are alerted only if it's too noisy.
