Situated in the centre of Blairgowrie, the Old Scout Hall was converted into residential accommodation 15 years ago. It's just a few minutes' walk to shops and eateries. And there is easy access to championship golf courses, top class salmon fishing and the Cateran Trail. Plus the ski-ing at Glenshee is 45 minutes away

The property was perfect for our getaway with the dogs. Lovely little garden. Good sized rooms. All you could need with towels, soap, toilet rolls, kitchen fitted out with everything you needed, good cleaning essentials. The check in and out times worked well for us. The key safe to property was perfect. The only thing negative was that the patio doors didn't open and we left the front door open to let air in when it was warm and when sitting outside. The little table and chairs outside was also really lovely to sit and have breakfast first thing early morning. We really enjoyed the delicious scones and homemade jam, that was a lovely treat for our arrival. We are already thinking about coming back next month if we can get some time off work for a few days. Highly recommended.
We enjoyed our stay at the Old Scout HQ. It was comfortable and nicely located with parking and there were shops nearby. The house was clean and standardly equipped. We enjoyed walking along the river and there were beautiful places to visit nearby.
We moved to Blairgowrie to run a six bedroom bed and breakfast but that had to close during the Covid outbreak. Blairgowrie is a quiet town but has plenty to attract people such as a multitude of golf courses, premium salmon fishing, skiing in the winter and plenty of walking routes.
Our properties are all win a very short walk of the town centre. I used to think people wanted to be out in the countryside but now realise that after a hard day touring or playing golf or fishing, itâs much better to be where guests donât need to use a car in the evenings.
