A beautiful home with great location

We really enjoyed our stay. It was very homely and clean, with a surprisingly beautiful view from the garden and windows. The location was brilliant - very quiet but a short stroll to either beach (which were stunning) and to town. Coastal holidays, who we booked with, we're excellent as they promptly returned some property I'd left as well. Thanks for the stay!

Lovely break

My daughter and I had a long weekend in October and we enjoyed it very much.Cryd y Nant is a lovely bungalow, beautifully updated and very homely. The beds were very comfortable as were the sofas. The kitchen had lovely crockery and pans and everywhere was so clean. Very quiet location except for a huge flock of geese which flew onto the lake and honked all night. The bungalow is soundproofed perfectly and inside we heard not a peep

Perfect location but property needs some attention

Perfect location, easy walk into Rhosneigr and more importantly 8 minute walk from doorstep to toes in the sand on the lovely beach. The property on the other hand could do with some general attention but mainly the shower in en-suite, needs attention urgently before it ruins the bathroom. The freezer needs defrosting, only 1 draw usable. Customer service was spot on, I had an issue with no spare key and this was sorted straight away.

Lovely family holiday accommodation

We recently stayed at this lovely holiday bungalow. It is situated in the perfect location, close to two beaches and the local amenities. Everything we needed was provided. Special family memories were made.

Lovely break by the coast

We booked the cottage so that we could take our dogs on some lovely walks around the area. The location of the bungalow was perfect as it was so close to 2 beaches. The house had under floor heating throughout and was very cosy during our whole stay. The house had everything that we needed for the 4 days that we were there.

Fantastic holiday at Cryd Y Nant

I totally recommend this holiday home. Beautiful house with everything you could possibly need. The location is perfect as a nice quiet road but very close to the centre of Rhosneigr & the beach- just a few minutes walk. Also a perfect location to explore the whole of Anglesey. We can't wait to visit again !!

The accommodation was pet friendly. There was a problem with the boiler that couldn’t be repaired during our stay. Luckily it wasn’t too cold! But we had no central heating and no hot water! But it did spoil our stay, and would def use the property again. Very comfortable and great location!

Hi Chris, thanks for your review. I was so disappointed that we couldn't fix the issue during your stay. The owner has ordered a new flow sensor and the issue will be sorted this week.

Great Stay

Great location - 5 mins walk to Rhosneigr town centre one way and 10minutes to the Oyster Catcher the other. Lovely house on one level. Two spacious double rooms and one smallish twin. Paved garden at the back. Would highly recommend. Communication by Coastal Holidays excellent as ever, allowed us to come in early and leave late.

Bins

We have stayed here numerous times and as always , thoroughly it. For us it’s all about the location.I’ve only scored a 4 for comfort and condition because it’s probably starting to look a bit tired now but this would not deter us from visiting again. On this occasion there did seem to be a problem with the bins. They were all full when we arrived on Friday.I couldn’t recycle much so had to try to fit it in the black bin which had been left roadside but was already pretty full . We left on Wednesday so we’re not there for bin collection day but I left everything roadside in the hope that something would be collected Thursday.(A quick look online told me it should have been a recycling collection day-but I really should not have had to do that).Perhaps a quick printout showing this information would be helpful and I would not be blaming the previous occupants!!

Stay at Cryd y Nant

The cottage is lovely and very well appointed, we were very comfortable and it was a great location. The key safe was in a rather inaccessible spot, and not very easy to operate the code, might be an idea to move it? Just a thought.

Good location but we were generally disappointed with property. Problems with electrical items and untidy outside spaces also issues with double parking.

This was not our first visit and it was excellent again.

So pleased that a comment from our last review had been acted upon-only a small thing about the position of the key safe-but it has been moved to a much more accessible position so thank you . Probably being picky again but this visit we were fortunate to enjoy some fabulous weather so the sun was up bright and early but the curtains in the main bedroom do not block anything out so we had some early starts when perhaps a lie in would have been preferred on some days. This will not deter us from visiting again.

Key safe position

Only 1 negative comment .The key safe to the property is in a very awkward position, you have to lie on the cold path to attempt to unclock.Sadly we had to make a phone call for someone to come and let us into the property.Other than that everything else was perfect.

Lovely Cottage in great location

The cottage was clean and tidy on arrival, although some of the kitchen utensils particularly the baking tins are looking tired, grubby and a bit rusty, need replacing. We had an issue with some of the kitchen appliances too but this was resolved quickly by Coastal Holidays and the owner. The sofa's were a bit soft and low for me and the covers were stained and needed washing but I appreciate this is probably difficult to do during handovers. We had an issue with the parking as there is only really room for 1 car on the drive, the 2 car bay on the road at the front of the property was permanently occupied by cars from a resident who moved a car from his drive to replace one in the bay when his family went out. We did mange to park 2 cars on the drive but it was a struggle. The cottage is in a great location with a short walk to the main street and the beach. All in all my grandson and family and I had a lovely week and the weather was fantastic.

Fabulous short stay

Managed to book a last minute short stay at Cryd y Nant through Coastal Holidays. The booking process and property access information was excellent with the property being situated in a wonderfully quiet spot at the end of a cul-de-sac at the side of fields. The property is not much more than a five minute walk from the High Street, the beach and The Oyster Catcher - there are a good choice of restaurants in Rhosneigr - Mojo's, The Oyster Catcher, Sandy Mount and Mezze 40 being our preferred choices. There are also good fish and chip and pizza take away options, and an Indian Restaurant which came highly recommended but we didn't have time to try. The property itself has been beautifully refurbished offering 3 good bedrooms (one with ensuite), bathroom and nicely presented kitchen/living area with bi-fold doors opening out onto nice terrace with outdoor seating. It was immaculately clean and very well stocked with everything you could need. Only disappointment was that we had to leave after 3 days!! Hopefully we will get the chance to book this lovely property again. Thank you.

October Half term

Both the cottage and the location were perfect for us(family of four + doggo). Walking distance to everything you need and 6/7 miles drive from a big range of supermarkets in Holyhead. Rhosneigr itself has great Cafe's, great beaches and a great pub/eateries especially the chilled beach bar/restaurant The Oystercatcher.
