Sanctuary Cottage in the village of St Clement is the most idyllic setting, located approximately 1.5 miles south east of the city of Truro, on the banks of the Tresillian River, a tributary of the River Fal. Designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, St Clement is also a site of Specific Scientific Interest and Sanctuary Cottage enjoys the most delightful position within it, having stunning views of the river and and countryside beyond
We loved our stay at Sanctuary Cottage. St Clement is such a lovely spot with a beautiful little church and perfectly situated for visiting Truro and surrounding sights. The property is very luxurious and spacious. Weâd love to return.

Hello, thank you for looking at our cottage.! We have been open since June 2021 and have had nothing but delighted guests. The cottage is clean, warm, comfortable and well equipped. The photos show glimpses of the river, but the views from all of the bedrooms and the lounge are beautiful. There is a purpose built covered BBQ area with gas BBQ and firepit to ensure that whatever the weather you can dine al fresco. The cottage is in a perfect location for exploring Cornwall, away from the hum drum of the busy costal locations yet 5 minutes from Truro and it's mainline train station. 30 minutes to the North Coast and 30 mins to the South Coast - metres from stunning river walks and the very welcoming Heron Inn.
