It is a stones throw away from Water-Break-Its-Neck, a spectacular waterfall with many walking trails around to enjoy the beautiful trees and woodland. It has good links to both the town of Hay-on-Wye, which has a literary festival in May, and also Llanelwedd, famous for the Royal Welsh Agricultural show in July. Nearby there are walks aplenty for the more active, and many open gardens to explore including Hergest Croft Gardens in nearby Kington. There is also the small breeds animal park situated just outside Kington which younger visitors will be able to enjoy all year round. This well-placed property is perfect for exploring all that mid-Wales has to offer being set on the England/Wales border, with the beautiful Offaâs Dyke walking trail which is 177 miles long situated close by. Just 22 miles away is the Elan Valley, a chain of dams and reservoirs set against a backdrop one of the countryâs most picturesque beauty spots. Built over 100 years ago, it still supplies clean water to Birmingham.
