We traveled from the United States. First time to Greece. Stayed in Thessaloniki for four days, to run the Alexander The Great marathon. We found this place and rented it through the Vrbo website.
In a word, perfection. It is a very spacious and roomy two bedroom, one bath top floor “penthouse.” It has a very large, outdoor balcony patio, complete with some furniture. It’s not on the ocean, but you can see it a few blocks away.
It has a full kitchen with all the amenities you need. A washing machine and a nice outdoor drying rack. Large wraparound couch, television with cable, nice dining room table.
Plenty of linens, nice, plush, cotton robes, comfortable beds. Spacious walk-in shower.
It’s on the fifth floor. Remember that in the United States, we start with floor one, grease starts with floor zero. So their first floor is really our second…
And their fourth floor is really the fifth floor.
It is a walk up, no elevator. But the five flights of stairs aren’t bad. That’s the only thing that could possibly limit your enjoyment.
Downstairs is a phenomenal bakery, and you wake up to fresh bread smells every morning. The location is ideal to shopping, restaurants.
Overall an easy thumbs up and an easy five star.
