Georgian coach house in private location, 5 minutes from North Berwick
Extremely well equipped and furnished home in the heart of East Lothian's golfing coast. Lots to do locally and Edinburgh is a 30 minute trip on the train. There are many activities within a short drive.
Pictures donât do the place justice, such a lovely house and perfect for our family get away! So clean and had all the amenities you would need.
Would definitely like to return!
We were playing a week long tournament and had 10 different golfers staying on various nights. Little bit hard to find but once you had mastered it, it was a great location
We had a fantastic time at The Coach House. Very peaceful location. Loved North Berwick and visited some fantastic beaches.
Great house for entertaining. We were sorry to leave!
This was a outstanding property and location, could not ask for more,
Fantastic experience, Annie was outstanding helping with questions, you could not ask for a more peaceful beautiful location, even though there was nine in are party, there was more than enough room. Surrounding walks are fantastic for the younger children, town only 5 mins drive.
Well worth a visit, will see you again,
Jeff, sue and family
This property exceeded my expectations on every level. It is spotless, comfortable, very well stocked, and in a lovely country setting. We saw fox, deer, horses, bunnies, and many birds. I would rebook again in a heartbeat. (The host is lovely, as well)
Maggie and I were fortunate to secure this amazing property for our adventure to Scotland. The setting is beautiful and the house is magnificent. The updated amenities and the historic atmosphere to the property served as a stage to a magical experience.
Thank you Anne, we look forward to our return !
We enjoyed every minute in the coach house. Very good beds, everything you need in the kitchen, the living room comfortable, a lot of superb piece of furniture. Walks down the lake, female deers in the garden,
Peace and quiet. Nice view.
A place we recommend for a large group, with cars.
This is a charming house in a bucolic setting but still only 8 minutes from town.
This is a lovely home and the setting is pastoral... so you have to drive to get anywhere but town is actually very close by car. The only thing that we would recommend is that the property owner provide a sheet with instructions for a few things that weren't obvious - like how to get the upstairs shower going and how to make the cooker operable. If we are ever back in the area we will try to stay there again.
The Georgian coach house was perfect for our group of 8 golfers. Great kitchen and sitting area (that comfortably fit all 8). Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and well outfitted. The host was also very responsive to a couple questions we had after arrival. The annex was also great (especially for a snorer).
Likely due to being very early in the year and being a last minute access ask but the annex was a little musty - but not to the level that opening the window didnât alleviate. Another medium to large frying pan might have come in handy as well, although we made out fine with what was there. For coffee lovers, we were also very appreciative of the assortment of French presses.
Overall, great experience and no hesitation recommending.
Fantastic spacious house on the country side. We had everything we needed and had super service from our host Annie. The only thing that would need an improvement was the Wifi that was a bit weak otherwise top notch on everything đ
We loved seeing all the Pheasant and animals... just outside of town. Great kitchen and gathering area... perfect for our group of 8.
Annie is very responsive and helpful
A great property for parties up to 10 people. Do ask the owner for precise directions. Only one drawback- a mirror in each room at a standard wall height and with a plug socket close by , is required.
