Starfish apartment is a beautiful two bedroom apartment sleeping five, the first room consisting of a double bed and the second a bunk bed room with single bed just a few minutes walk from Tenby town centre. The light and airy open plan living and dinning area offers a flatscreen tv, sofas to kick back on and a bay window. The newly fitted kitchen is one where you will want to spend all your time cooking for you and your guests with all the amenities you could want along with breakfast bar. The bathroom has a bath and separate shower giving you the option of both. There is one designated parking space outside of Starfish Apartment.
On arrival we were met with a big pile of dog waste right outside the door to the property so not a good start . The property itself is in a good location for the town and the parking right outside is a real bonus . However the negatives were the bedding had what looked like dog hairs in it and also stained ,, didnât look like clean linen ! Also the property is lovely but it needs some tidying up, little things like the blind in the living room was broken and wouldnât drop down so had to put a towel up at night for privacy, this is not acceptable as a previous review from months ago mentioned this as well so it should have been fixed by now , also the 2 sofas have seen better days and are very uncomfortable. The kitchen however was very well equipped with everything you needed , the shower was good however the panel on the bath kept falling out . All in all the stay was enjoyable due to the location but the property and some of its fixtures need desperately replacing.
Nice flat good location pity some things not working
Good location with easy access to town, and to both of the great beaches in Tenby. Unfortunately there was no TV signal to the living room TV but we had come for walking so just let it be. Otherwise well equipped as described in the listing, kitchen window wouldnât close but hopefully the owners will respond and fix.
To be clear, what happened to us at check-in was not the property manager nor the owner's fault. When we arrived at 4pm (It was getting dark already) we discovered there was no heating or hot water and had not been told prior to arrival. The manager did say they tried to reach me but my number was incorrect. (I am an established member of VRBO and have rented holiday homes before.) Anyway, we had to move to another location and though the new house was lovely, the location was not what we wanted - on a busy road outside of town. We had thought we were getting a town property where we could park the car and walk everywhere. So; it was a bit disappointing for that reason but to be fair they did the best they possibly could under the circumstances.
