Duplex de 140m2.
Au 1er étage:
- un grand séjour-salle-à-manger, dont nous avons conservé le style d'origine: parquet en bois, hauts plafonds en briques, ventilateur au plafond. La cheminée au centre, les meubles d'époque, les couleurs forment un ensemble accueillant et fidèle au style de la maison. Cet espace se prête particulièrement bien à la pratique du tango!
- une cuisine spacieuse et moderne, entièrement équipée, les grands plans de travail sont en marbre, ainsi que l'îlot central.
- pour les invités, un coin toilettes, au décor élégant,
- une suite composée :
. d'une chambre avec 1 lit deux places + 1 canapé-lit une place, climatisation, et accès à un petit patio extérieur orné de plantes,
. d'une salle de bain complète (baignoire, douche, lavabo, bidet, toilettes).
Au 2ème étage:
- une suite composée :
. d'une chambre spacieuse avec un lit double, climatisation et véranda donnant sur le petit patio,
. d'une salle-de-bain complète (lavabos individuels pour deux personnes, baignoire-jacuzzi, bidet, toilettes).
- une mezzanine aménagée en bureau, avec un canapé-lit pour une personne;
- cette mezzanine donne accès à la terrasse privée de 45 m2, avec meubles de jardin, barbecue, évier et robinet. De la terrasse, la vue sur la ville est dégagée et sans vis-à-vis gênant.
Le quartier est animé sans être bruyant, et seule la terrasse et le salon donnent sur la rue. Les deux suites se trouvent du côté intérieur du bâtiment, calme et isolé du bruit.
La maison est située à un coin de rue particulièrement agréable, animé d'une vie de quartier sympathique. Au pied de l'appartement, un caviste renommé vous fera déguster les meilleurs vins d'Argentine (la Cava Jufré, tenue par notre ami Lito), et, en face, le restaurant Mamma Rosa vous servira une excellente cuisine typique de la culture portègne. A 50 mètres, vous pourrez suivre des cours de tango dans un cadre fabuleux, authentique, el Estudio Dinzel, où vous vous sentirez immergés dans la culture tanguera propre à ces quartiers de Buenos Aires.

Great place for holiday!!

Stayed at the property for 5 days with family over the Christmas period. The owner was extremely responsive and accommodating with checking in and out of the property. Location is excellent. 15 min walk from Palermo, shops and bars. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Value: Roomy, Bright, Great Location and Excellent Communication

A great rental starting with reliable and helpful communication by both owner and manager. The house has a very large living/dining room with a balcony, two comfortable bedrooms each with a modern bathroom in suite, a solid kitchen, a third half bathroom, an extra space next to the upper level bedroom, and a very nice terrace with a "parrilla". It is very comfortable for a 4/5-member family or two couples. All spaces have good natural light. The house is well equipped overall, with good air conditioning (we stayed during a relatively mild span in the early Summer though). People with limited mobility are likely to have difficulties with stairs. Special mention to location: It has the feel of a true neighborhood ("barrio") in a fairly calm street but at the same time It is a fabulous place to explore bubbling Palermo Soho including some of Buenos Aires best restaurants and steakhouses (just a 10-15' walk) and it is well connected to downtown Buenos Aires by the B-line Metro (the "Angel Gallardo" stop is just 10' away). If you like to walk you have, within 30', the Botanical Gardens, Plaza Serrano. Palermo Hollywood and the Abasto area, among other things.

It Takes 4 to Tango

We had a great time in Buenos Aires during our stay. The duplex is in a great location close to Palermo Soho and other neighborhoods. Our hosts were quick to respond to our request or concerns. The unit has everything you need for the stay it just needs a little upkeep. P.S. when you stay here do visit the local wine bar "La Cava Jufre "on the corner,. Its a great place to start your evening.

Apartment too hot

The apartment had a long flight of stairs into it. Although it did say there was no air conditioning in the kitchen/living and dining room it didn't mention that the skylights in the kitchen were beating down hot sun all day and that area never cooled off. On a hot day it was very uncomfortable. The air-conditioning in the bedrooms is old and doesn't work efficiently but at least the bedrooms had air. We never made it up to the terrace because we would have baked up there in the heat. The plug at the back of the microwave was hanging out of the wall and they said they would send someone around to fix it but never bothered to do anything about it. The area is too far from coffee shops, good restaurants etc. This was my 14th trip to Buenos Aires and I would never stay in this area again.

Elegant casa in a convenient neighborhood

We felt privileged to live in this home for 3 weeks. It has been beautifully updated, but still retains that open-air design common to Buenos Aires. We did some cooking and the kitchen was easy to use. It was wonderful to have the large rooftop patio and we danced tango in the living room! The neighborhood has many conveniences: a wine bar downstairs and Italian restaurant across the street. You can reach main avenues in 3 directions. I even had a heel repaired in the cobblers shop a few blocks away. The hostess did everything to make our stay a pleasure!

Excellent BA base

This is a lovely apartment, a fine combination of original and thoughtfully updated. Great roof deck and grill spot. Yes! lots of stairs, but they create plenty of pleasant separate spaces, making it great for two couples and some kids. Or anyone who likes space. It is well maintained, kept very clean, and everyone involved was very thoughtful and responsive. The neighbourhood is great, local restaurants and shops, all the basic services, so there's a real sense of living in the city, but a short walk to Palermo and other hip bits too. Highly recommended.

Perfecto!

Excellent location, quiet neighborhood, comfortable accommodations. Sabine and Mercedes were great to work with, and very responsive. Something to keep in mind are all the steps in this apartment, especially if you have small children or people in your group with mobility issues. We loved our stay and would recommend this unit and BA to everyone!

Very comfortable and great location!

This is the second house we have rented in Buenos Aires in the past 5 years. It was perfect for our family of 4. Very spacious and comfortable with lots of natural light. The location has more of a neighborhood feel vs. staying closer to the center of the city as we did last time. It was very safe and quiet in the evenings. There were many stores, restaurants and transportation within walking distance. Sabine was an excellent host quickly responding to any questions. It was hard to leave but we hope to return sooner than later.

Perfect place for exploring BA

We spent almost 2 weeks in this lovely tipical Argentinian house and we enjoyed it at all times, especially the large terrace with grill. All rooms and bathrooms were spatious and comfy and a lovely decorated living room. Besides the modern industrial arhitecture touch, the staircase is also ensuring you will stay fit after reach meals with Argentinian steaks and wines🙂. The apartment is located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood, lots of small kiosks around, very close to a big supermarket (Jumbo) and few minutes walk to the subway /metro station (Subte-station Angel Gallardo). Owners were very friendly, helpful and flexible in regards of check-in / check-out times. We were 4 persons spending our vacation together and felt as home so we would always like to return here.

Wonderful base to explore Buenos Aires

This is a lovely remodel of an old building, with old wooden floors and windows but modern kitchen and beautiful bathrooms. No dishwasher or laundry, but that wasn't a problem. The location is on the border of Palermo Soho and Villa Crespo, so it was a quiet, residential midpoint to explore both areas. Villa Crespo is a booming, exciting area. Perhaps if this is your first visit to Buenos Aires, you might want to stay in the heart of Palermo Soho, but for us this was perfect. A fabulous wine bar downstairs, and an excellent Italian restaurant across the street, plus easy access to small markets and a huge supermarket. Taxis easy to get right downstairs, and about a 6-block walk to the subway. Very good internet. The beautiful old windows and doors do mean that you can hear the street noise--do bring earplugs, like you would in any large city--but the good thing is the noise is infrequent since it's quite residential. If you have small children, the metal stairs to the large upstairs bedroom and bathroom might be a bit daunting, but it was not an issue with our older daughter. Perfect for two couples or a family of 4.

Great place, great neighborhood

We were two couples that stayed here. We had plenty of room to spread out inside the house. We loved the outdoor patio. We would stay here again. I believe it is mentioned in the description, but you do have to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs. Not a problem for us at all just full disclosure.

Férias Buenos Aires com Amigos

A estadia foi boa, visitamos os principais pontos turísticos de Buenos Aires. A casa é bem grande, porém verificamos que há necessidade de algumas adequações para ficar mais confortável. Banheiros - não há ventilação e no verão é muito quente. Sugiro que a proprietária instale uma janela, mesmo que seja pequena ou um sistema de ventilação. Cozinha- não está totalmente equipada, falta toalha de mesa e alguns utensílios Escada - o acesso a casa é somente por escada, que é muito pequena e perigosa. Os degraus são de mármore muitos lisos. Sofri uma queda no penúltimo dia da minha estadia. Tive que ir a um hospital para fazer radiografia. Agradeço a Dona Mercedes que foi muito prestativa.

Huge Unit, Great Owners

By Buenos Aires standards, this unit is huge. It is basically a townhouse design of only one unit, as opposed to the more typical apartment building. After ascending the stairs, one reaches the main floor. The living room is large with a lovely wood floor and French door windows facing the street. The kitchen is also spacious and fairly well equipped by Argentina standards. No dishwasher, but that is normal. There is a small guest bathroom. Also on this floor is the second bedroom, again spacious, with an en suite bath and plenty of closet space. Another set of stairs takes you to a level, which has a comfortable seating area with a couch that could be a bed. The large master bedroom on this floor has an ensuite bath with jacuzzi tub. The bed is comfy and glass doors open to a terrace sheltered from the street by a wall. Again, nice wood floors, One of the best features of this apartment is that both bedrooms are buffered from street noise, making them exceptionally quite for Buenos Aires. This is a big deal. Last, but not least, a short set of stairs takes you to the large roof terrace, which has chairs for lounging and a large barbecue grill. To top off the experience, Sabine the owner was a good communicator and extremely kind and accommodating. The on site manager is her mother-in-law, Mercedes, who handled check in and check out like a real pro. Absolutely no hassles. The location is Villa Crespo, not Palermo proper. This means there are not a lot of shops and restaurants in the immediate area. It is also means a lot less traffic. Palermo proper is a ten minute easy walk. Oh, the wifi is fast because you are not sharing the connection. All in all, a really good choice for Buenos Aires. The only real caveat is the stairs, which are not appropriate for people with disabilities or in poor shape. (We are over 70 and had no problem, but we are pretty fit.) The author of this review was a senior manager in the resort industry for over 25 years and has stayed at many VRBO properties.

Linda residência em Palesrmo

Olá. Esta é a segunda oportunidade que tivemos o prazer de nos hospedar nessa rica residência. O conjunto da residência, proprietários e arredores proporciona uma estadia maravilhosa. A residência comporta tranquilamente 6 pessoas e a sala grande - na foto, é maravilhosa para conversas, ouvir música, apreciar os vinhos e comidas comprados durante o dia. Imediatamente abaixo da residência fica a Cava Jufré que recomendo fortemente seja visitada para conhecer o proprietário - Lito e suas dicas sempre precisas. A uma distância de 3 quadras vc encontrará cafés, restaurantes de vários tipos, lojas e outras facilidades. Se houver oportunidade, aproveite a estadia nessa residência, a pessoa que os recepcionará - Mercedes, fará de tudo para que vc se sinta o mais confortável possível e a proprietária - Sabine irá te dar a atenção e detalhamento que você precisar para ter a certeza que esta será uma estadia inesquecível. Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Nous avons acheté cette maison sur un coup de cœur. Lors de l'acquisition en 2004, tout était à refaire. Nous avons mis plusieurs années à le rénover, sous la direction d'un architecte, spécialisé dans la rénovation de bâtiments anciens. Dès le début, nous avons été charmés par l'âme de cet endroit: l'emplacement est idéal, à deux pas du cœur de Palermo Viejo, mais épargné de l'affluence touristique propre à cette zone de la capitale. Au printemps et en été, ce coin de rue se remplit de vie : les terrasses du restaurant Mamma Rosa et celles de la Cava Jufré accueillent une clientèle agréable. L'ambiance est chaleureuse, tranquille, plutôt familiale. Et même si nous avons restauré la maison et ses équipements en y apportant tout le confort moderne, nous avons tenu à conserver, dans la restauration, la touche d'authenticité propre à ces quartiers de Buenos Aires.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Les deux suites sont totalement autonomes, chacune à un étage différent, et chacune ayant sa propre salle de bain complète. Avec, en plus, un coin toilettes pour les invités.
