James' Place @ The Gateway is part of the exciting, award wining James' Places group of holiday homes. The accommodation is in James' Place unique style and at a great price.

The Gateway has 3 bedrooms, lounge, kitchen, dining room and garden with secure Bike storage. We are also dog friendly with prior notice for a small charge. There is also a hot tub available for a small charge. Please let us know if you wish to use prior to your arrival so we can set it up for you.

The house also benefits from being only a few minuets drive from Merthyr Tydfil Town Centre with restaurants, coffee shops, bars and supermarkets.

The home has been totally refurbished in James' Place quirky and fun style - come see our grass stair case!.

The home can sleep up to 8 guests and of course we are child and dog friendly. There is also a Hot Tub. If the hot tub is required and please let us know at least48 hours prior to your arrival that you want it to give us time to heat it up. There is a minimal charge of 40 GBP for doing this. You'll also love our "Cowboy" veranda so you can sit out and enjoy the view whilst you dine outside. There is a great out door area with secure bike storage and bike wash.

The lounge comfortable sits 8 people and has a 50" flat screen TV. For those that want or need to stay connected to the outside world there is free super fast broadband throughout the house.

The home has 3 double bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has 1 double bed, Bedroom 2 has 1 double Bed and 1 Bunk Bed and Bedroom 3 has 1 set of bunk beds. The bunk beds are adult sized but sleep children as well! This means that the house can sleep 8 in total or 6 people if everyone wants a separate bed. We have searched high and low to find little details in the rooms that will make your stay memorable and enjoyable.

There is a newly created walk in shower room and enough hot water on tap for 8 guests.

The Kitchen is fully equipped kitchen with induction hob & oven, fridge freezer, washing machine and all the appliances you need to make your stay easy and low maintenance. The cupboards are fully stocked with crockery, glass wear, pots, saucepans and utensils to ensure every guest is catered for.

The Dining Room will easily sit 8 people and we have added some games to make your stay go with a smile. Look out for our collection hats so you can dress in style and be whoever you want to be during your stay. There is also a record player so you can go back in time and be nostalgic or dance your socks off!!
