The Neighborhood: The area is mainly residential with the nearest cafes, bars and restaurants 5-10 minutes walk away on Duke Street. Coia's Cafe is worth a visit for Italian food and good coffee. Nearby Tibo Bistro offers fine Scottish cuisine made fresh every day from local produce. The Tennent's Wellpark Brewery is 10 minutes walk away, where you can have a tour or go next door to Drygate for some food and a good selection of beers. West Brewery and Restaurant is situated near the People’s Palace at Glasgow Green (15 minute walk) and offers artisan lagers and wheat beers and a breakfast, lunch and a la carte menu and has a beer garden to enjoy on lazy sunny days.
Getting Around: The property is around 20 minutes walk from Glasgow’s famous shopping streets such as Buchanan St and Argyle St. Bellgrove Train Station is 2 minutes walk from the front door. Trains run approximately every 15 minutes to Glasgow Queen Street Station in the heart of the city centre and is a 5 minute journey. From Bellgrove Train Station you can catch a direct train east to Edinburgh Waverley, home of the Edinburgh Festival, Edinburgh Castle, Military Tattoo and many more historic attractions or west to Milngavie which is the start of the West Highland Way. Bus numbers 2, 60, 60A and 62 run every 5 minutes to the city centre. Uber operate in Glasgow and a taxi to the city centre would cost around £4. Glasgow international airport is 20-25 minutes in a taxi depending on traffic. A taxi would cost around £30. Alternatively you can take the airport express bus into the city centre for £7.

A beautiful apartment with excellent transport links and so easy to use. Laundry room amd kitchen facilities were perfect and exactly what is needed when travelling with a toddler. Will delicately visit again!

The welcome email said we would receive another email in relation to the code for the box with the key. It was a bit of confusion as the code was the one in the example of the welcome email saying we would receive a different email. After attempting to call multiple times we decided to give the code an try even though I did not receive additional checkin information. Then the scavenger hunt for the box took place as it is not even on the same side of the road as the building we stayed in. The stay was okay. Some water damage to the walls in the bathroom near the skylight was noted.

Great Days In Glasgow
Host was super responsive. Having secure off street parking was such a reassurance in the city. The building itself was quiet. Loud partying until 4:00 am one weekend night but other nights were good. Basic beds, fluffy towels, instant hot water and plenty of space for 4 adults. Only bummer no clothes dryer but there were drying racks and items dried overnight because apartment is so well insulated and warm or cool as needed.Would stay again, awesome!!

Glasgow Apartment Rental
The property matched and/or exceeded expectations. All pre-arrival communications were promptly responded to and fully helpful. The key access pickup and return arrangement is a bit inconvenient but the process worked fine. Access to the train and nearby restaurants was very good and within walking distance. Accommodations were well-appointed, quiet, modern and stylish. We would certainly book again in the future.

Lovely apartment and stayed for 9 nights, much more spacious than I imagined. Perfect for travelling to Hampden Park and Toryglen for a course I was attending. Private parking a bonus.
Only reason I didn’t give 5 star was the issue with the shower not draining quick enough.
If you are wondering about booking, just go for it. I would book again if I needed the extra bedroom. My kids and husband joined me for the weekend and they were impressed too.

Modern comfortable flat with good walking access to downtown sights. The flat is on the third floor with no elevator so lots of luggage can be a challenge. Free parking at the rear of the building is a bonus if you have a vehicle. Check in is not very convenient having to pick up keys three blocks away and returned when leaving.
We found that cleanliness could be improved. Some of the appliances such as the toaster had to be cleaned before using. Ironic since they charge a 55 GBP cleaning fee.
Could be a great location with a few improvements.

Belgrove Flat
Great flat 2 minute walk to train station or 5 minutes taxi ride from city centre. There were a few minor issues. Some of the hall lights not working. Fan in bathroom not working which in turn looks like there might be some mould around the Velux window in the bathroom. Kick plate missing in the kitchen and kitchen door kept sticking open. Sticky kitchen floor and when we went to use the mop from the cupboard it had a sour smell to it. As I said little things that could be improved upon. Other wise clean warm and great place to base yourself with available parking.

Just ok
The property was fine, but lots of things let it down. Positives: free, off-road parking, quiet location, good, powerful hot shower, effective heating, washing machine a good facility. The owner let us check in slightly early. Negatives: very creaky beds and floorboards, the blinds in the bedroom do not cover the windows so it is very light, even at night due to street lighting, no shaving socket in bathroom, kitchen ok but no oven gloves, very few cooking utensils. The property was not very clean, most dishes and utensils needed washing before use. Lots of dirty marks on walls etc. There were broken hangers in the wardrobes and broken scissors in the drawer. The pull chain for the living room blind was not affixed to the wall and this was a hazard for small children. Location was not great. There are no cafes/restaurants without walking for 20/25 minutes so not great with small children. The key box was across the road and on the ground, meaning that it was dirty and full of rain water.

Some unexpected situations with this property.
Overall, our stay was just ok. The place was clean and spacious and the host was an excellent communicator. Please note: THIS UNIT IS IN THE 3rd FLOOR. This is NOT stated in the description of the unit. For those fit and able, this would not be a problem. My daughter had just had knee surgery 6 weeks earlier and I have horrible arthritis in my knee and this out significant strain on our knees not to mention how hard it is to lug luggage for a family of 4 up that many stairs. We did not find this out until check in instructions were sent. This is info that they need to put on the listing for accessibility reasons. The location was ok but we ended having to use uber for most places. One problem we had is we didn’t realize the bars that the towels hang on are heated. While getting up from the toilet I accidentally burned my arm pretty badly and now have scarring. When I communicated about this to the host and offered to send a pic of the burn, they did not offer a way to send the pic and just gave information on how to turn it off. These bars and their placement are very dangerous and should be off when someone checks in so they can turn it on if they want to but needs to be initially off to prevent injury. The shower was horrible. TONS of hair in the drain and it would not drain properly. The unit was decent size and met our needs that way. We would only recommend this property if they have fixed these issues (we encourage you to check before hand).

Ups and Downs
Overall, the flat met our needs. It was the details which made this a challenging booking.
Aside from the three flight walk-up with holiday baggage, the keys had to be picked up and dropped off at a different location. The location wasn’t super far away, but it required us to adjust our travel plans to accommodate. It was also in a local convenience shop, where we waited in queue with people making purchases.
The welcome document sent in advance of when we arrived had a blank space for details of internet. There was a fob in a bowl in the entry with that information, which we found eventually.
When we used the shower, it was ice cold. Upon extra effort, we found the switch to turn on the hot water - in the closet. Then the drain was backed up, with a very shallow shower basin. We had to start and stop the water throughout each shower for fear of flooding the bathroom.
The bathroom has a lovely skylight! But the moisture has black mildew growing along the walls of the skylight.
The linens were nice, with extra linens in the closets helpful. The entry space was lovely, as was the living room and kitchen space, and the windows.
The dishes ranged from clean to not completely clean to dirty. Not sure if the dishwasher was struggling and previous guests hasn’t checked that the dishes were actually clean before putting away? We had to clean a pan and a few plates before using them.
Parking was easy and very helpful!
Hopefully these are easy to remedy.

Large flat; comfortable enough.
Pros: the flat is large; plenty of room for family of four. Quiet building, safe, secure. Top floor without a lift is a pro and con. Good communication with professional management.
Cons: area not built for tourists; expect to cab to sites or nice restaurants unless you figure out buses or like long walks. Kitchen and bath furnishings were a bit thin. Bath vent did not work. Key pickup is offsite, but not far.
