Superbe appartement de 3 chambres au coeur de la vallée de Lauterbrunnen

Bel appartement familial de 3 chambres au coeur de la vallée de Lauterbrunnen. A 10 minutes à pied du centre du village, le Chalet Black peut accueillir confortablement 7 adultes et constitue la base idéale pour le ski en hiver et la randonnée en été.
L'appartement est dans le dernier chalet du village, donc a une vue imprenable sur la vallĂ©e depuis le balcon gĂ©nĂ©reux. En hiver, le service de bus gratuit part du bout de la route et permet d'accĂ©der facilement Ă  Stechelberg (pour le domaine skiable de MĂŒrren / Schilthorn) et Ă  Lauterbrunnen (pour le domaine skiable de Kleine Scheidegg / Jungfrau). Il y a aussi une piste de ski de fond (Langlauf) qui longe la riviĂšre Luterbach sur le cĂŽtĂ© de l'appartement.
En été, les possibilités de randonnée sont infinies le long de la `` Wanderwege '' bien marquée ou si tout cela vous semble trop pénible, n'hésitez pas à passer de longs aprÚs-midi paresseux sur le balcon ensoleillé.
L'appartement a été meublé à un niveau trÚs élevé avec des lits suisses de qualité, des appareils en acier inoxydable, une machine Nespresso, une télévision à écran plat (avec cùble), un lecteur DVD / magnétoscope, une Apple TV et des stations d'accueil pour iPod. La cuisine est bien équipée avec des ustensiles de cuisine de bonne qualité, de la vaisselle, etc. et il y a à la fois un service à fondue et un appareil à raclette. Inclus dans le prix de la location est l'internet haut débit sans fil illimité et l'utilisation du garage sécurisé.

No problems. Kitchen facilities great, wifi great transport easy if you follow the timetables. Get an SBB app it covers all your transport needs. Hostess was brilliant and so helpful.
This is the view that will greet you every morning - brilliant isn't it.

This place is amazing. We had high hopes and they were exceeded. We explored the entire valley and neighboring villages and consistently commented that our location was better than anywhere else. We truly loved our stay and it was hard to leave it behind.

Our stay was marvelous! The apartment itself was spotless and very comfortable with everything you could possibly need. The views of the mountains and waterfalls were unbelievable! The location was a 3 minute walk from a bus stop, yet it is also an easy 15 minute walk into town. We loved that we were in a quiet area away from the bustle of the village. The host answered email questions very promptly, and her directions to locate the property and lock box are very detailed and included photos. The host also checked with us to see if there was anything we needed. Besides the apartment, we highly recommend making dinner reservations for Restaurant Weidstubli at Camping Jungfrau, a 5 minute walk from the apartment. The meal was the best in our 8 days in Switzerland. When we stopped by on Sunday to make another reservation for Monday, we learned they're closed on Monday and Tuesday, so we ordered take away to eat on Monday because the food was so good. We highly recommend both the apartment and Restaurant Weidstubli. We would definitely stay here again!

Diane was a wonderful host! She responded quickly to any questions and had clear instructions on how to access the property as well as a thoughtful binder on things to do and information about the apartment. The apartment itself was spacious and clean. The views were breathtaking! The bus stop is a 2 min walk to the Lauterbrunnen train station or a 15 min walk to town. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Switzerland. For reference we were a family of 6 (2 parents, 2 grandparents, 10 and 13 year old)

The location of this apartment is excellent. Right outside the door, you have access to a paved walking path leading into town. The views are incredible and not blocked by other holiday apartments. Overall the space was right for our group: 4 adults and 3 children. We had plenty of room to spread out or find moments to ourselves in any of the three bedrooms. Diane responded with housekeeping when one of our beds needed clean sheets. The apartment did have a few issues, one specifically with bathroom mold, that the owner says she will resolve. We had difficulty finding a parking spot on occasion as other holiday guests used the available parking spaces indicated for the apartment. Otherwise, communication with the owner was relatively prompt and good-natured. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks, Diane!

Visit to the area made better by the stay

The location of the place was ideal for hiking and getting to many attractions in the area. We enjoyed being out of town where one could enjoy the falls and river. Accommodations had everything we needed and the bus took you from the rails basically to the doorsteps of the place. Would stay there again.

Excellent place to stay while in Switzerland

This property was phenomenal with an exceptional view that was hard to leave. The location is great and makes getting to lots of tours and sites around the area very easy. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Switzerland and looking for a peaceful location with postcard-like views.

Wonderful stay in Lauterbrunnen

We absolutely loved our stay at Diane’s place. The bus stop is a two minute walk to the main road which gives you access to the whole valley. The accommodations were great, everything we could have ever wanted. I recommend this place!

Diane is a fabulous host. The property is unbelievable and the property and the views are more beautiful in person. Great location and it is an easy walk to town to take the trains and cable cars to all nearby attractions.

The home was very clean and had everything we needed. Our family of 6 slept comfortably there. The location is amazing, you just can’t beat the view from the deck. One of the most beautiful places in the world. Our teenagers loved it!

Great location

We loved the location. So easy to get to every place we wanted to go. The only thing was the shower curtain and kitchen sponge could have been changed. Stayed a week so would have liked more than one set of towels. Did ask for more and they were delivered promptly.

Superb apartment in a superb location

We (4 adults and 2 kids) stayed during January. We found the apartment to be spacious, very well equipped and beautifully appointed. The apartment benefits from being very close to the centre of Lauterbrunnen but at the same time has stunning open views of the valley. We would definitely stay again.

The View!!!

Stunning view from the porch with comfortable outdoor furniture was the setting for our Happy Hour celebrations. The home is lovely, comfortable and well- appointed. Diane was always helpful and even warned us about a marathon in town that could have caused transportation or access issues. Close to all Berner Oberland sites. Perfect!

Amazing apartment and beautiful location!

Best apartment in the area! Stunning views surrounded by amazing waterfalls, breathtaking mountains and gorgeous goats. Apartment was very spacious, clean, had some thoughtful touches and had all the things you need. It looks better when you are there. Host was attentive, friendly and very helpful. We had a slight issue with the key safe but it was resolved in speedy time. Definitely would recommend. 5* slight

Fabulous home in this Swiss Alps

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Diane's home in Lauterbrunnen. One of our nicest stays in any VRBO we've ever stayed in. Totally as advertised! The pictures on the VRBO website do not do the place justice. Her place was very easy to find and everything was so clean and neat The kitchen had numerous spices and accouterments in it, including coffee for the coffee maker. Diane was most accommodating. If we ever go to Lauterbrunnen again, we will stay there. Thank you Diane for making our stay so fabulous! Steven and Cindy

I grew up in England but spent a lot of my adult life in Australia.

My family and I moved to Switzerland in 2009 for work and quickly fell in love with the Lauterbrunnen Valley following our first trip to the Schilthorn. Soon after, we were very fortunate to find this beautiful apartment and have been hosting guests ever since.

Whether in summer or winter, as soon as I walk through the front door I feel relaxed. I hope you will love this area and our apartment as much as I do.
