We had a lovely stay at the Gardener's cottage. It is nicely renovated with a large kitchen for preparing family meals. The cottage exceeded our expectations.
Everything was as expected, possibly even better than expected. A lovely cottage in a picturesque area.
Extremely clean and well appointed. Would definitely recommend.
We had a fabulous time. Lots of walking, loads to do and see round about. Dunblane is a very pretty town, as we're Doune and Bridge of Allan. We will be back.
We had a great stay at the cottage. It had all we needed and was very clean.
The weather wasn't the best so spent more time in the property planned but that was grand as it was a comfortable and nicely furnished.
It is well located with a short walk to the centre of Dunblane. Be prepared for some hills on the way back though!
All in all, a lovely property that we recommend to anyone looking for a holiday let.
This is a lovely cottage, beautifully decorated and homey. It is well-equipped with very comfortable beds. The cottage sits across from wonderful gardens. It is a short walk into Dunblane. We enjoyed the Dunblane to Ashfield walk along the Allan Water (stream) with spring blooms just beginning. The train to Edinburgh was easy and far superior to trying to drive there. This is the most expensive VRBO we have stayed in, quite a splurge for us, but we have to admit that it was a real delight. The host, Debbie, was kind and attentive.
7 accommodations in 16 days and this one ranked right up there. No stairs... two lovely full bathrooms, great location! So clean and nice goodie box from the host.
We stayed at this cottage as a our bolt hole to visit family and friends. It is a lovely cottage and ideally suited to access so much of Scotland. We enjoyed the lovely secluded walled garden - when the sun was shining. We were only 15 minutes walk to Dunblane and all of its services including the train links to Edinburgh and Glasgow. We also enjoyed the hour and a half walk on the ancient Darn Path to get to Bridge of Allen. Highly recommend
We absolutely fell in love with this cottage and its surroundings. Situated in a private community, this cottage felt as though we actually lived in Dunblane. We enjoyed the tranquility of it so much that we were okay foregoing some plans to take full advantage of the peace and quiet the cottage had to offer. The beds are comfortable and the house is designed to private privacy within the home. Debbie was wonderful and was very attentive to our needs. We were warned of the 15 minute uphill walk (which was slightly uphill at most) but with a teen and a senior with a hip issue in tow, we took that trip several times without issue. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Beautiful, well-equipped cottage that was perfect for 4 adults or a family of 4 to 5. The setting was lovely and the location was quiet but within walking distance to Dunblane. Don't miss Another Miss Tilly's Tearoom...cozy spot for breakfast or tea with very friendly staff.
In years of traveling with Vrbo, we rate this as our top selection!
The lovely home is absolutely perfect. In every way. A fantastic host who is available, knowledgeable, and expert at understanding needs of the traveler and providing them most thoughtfully. Everything needed in an accommodation during a family's visit is there and it is top class - no compromises at all. This stay has forever killed hotel stays for us!
The home was perfect for us and extremely comfortable. Everything is top notch - kitchen, living room (s), bathrooms, bedrooms. Appliances are top notch and parking is perfect and secure. No issue with anything in the apartment. Each aspect needed for a stay has been anticipated.
Dunblane is a gorgeous town and it was perfect for us to drive up to Glencoe and visit Glasgow and Edinburgh. The pride of the town of course is Andy Murray and we saw the tennis courts where he began his journey. We had two meals at the India Gate restaurant - it was delightful and it is recommended without reservation too.
Overall, 5 star and highly recommended.
A fantastic cottage, beautifully renovated with high quality furnishings and spotlessly clean. We were really impressed with the cottage, itâs location within private grounds in Dunblane and the ease of getting out and about across southern Scotland. Wish we had stayed longer and will definitely return again. Highly recommend.
