Le Shore Cottage est situé dans le village de Tarbet, à moins d'une heure de l'aéroport de Glasgow et à 5 minutes de la gare d'Arrochar & Tarbet sur la West Highland Railway Line. La propriété est idéalement située pour les amateurs de plein air souhaitant explorer le parc national du Loch Lomond & Trossachs, faire de la randonnée et du vélo dans la forêt d'Argyll ou escalader les Alpes d'Arrochar. Une excellente base de départ pour conduire vers l'ouest jusqu'à Inveraray ou prendre le train pour Oban, Fort William et Mallaig. La maison peut accueillir confortablement 10 personnes avec quatre chambres doubles et une chambre avec lits superposés, un hébergement flexible permet à deux doubles de devenir des chambres lits jumeaux. Avec un grand salon avec une cheminée à foyer ouvert, une véranda spacieuse avec vue sur le lac, une salle à manger et confortable, le Shore Cottage se prête pour une réunion de famille, des célébrations pour des occasions spéciales et des amateurs d'aventure en plein air. Le jardin a une façade de loch sur les rives du Loch Lomond avec une vue imprenable au sud. Le Loch offre de nombreuses options d'activités nautiques: kayak; voyages en hors-bord; et paddle board. Des croisières et des services de vaporetto réguliers partent tous les jours de la jetée de Tarbet, vous permettant d'accéder à l'inaccessible sur la rive est et de découvrir certains des joyaux cachés du parc national, comme le village de conservation de Luss; Inchcailloch Island et le Ardess Hidden History Trail. Amazing

This place is absolutely beautiful the bedrooms and sitting rooms overlooking the lake are beautiful and peaceful, the cottage is well set up with everything that you need it’s like a home from home. I will definitely be back, it’s a nice peaceful break.

Perfect for a family get together

We stayed here for a surprise birthday party for my partner. House was perfect size, great to all (pretty much) have enjoyed suite. Loved the loch being just at bottom of the garden. Great wee starter pack left in the kitchen was much appreciated! Communication with Auchenheglish was great too - very friendly. Thankyou

Stunning accommodation on Loch Lomond

Wonderful family accommodation for our family gathering to celebrate our daughters wedding. The house was amazing, plenty of rooms with comfortable beds, absolutely stunning views of the loch. Beautiful garden and plenty of parking. Discount offered on the cruise on the loch which all 17 of the immediate family did - choppy day but still worth it. Excellent facilities and perfectly located. Nothing at all to complain about - it was simply perfect.

What a place

The house and location are just perfect for a family trip in Scotland. Considering the size of the house, it was incredibly clean and the facilities were more than enough for the capacity. With all these en suites, the kids felt like Kardashians. The added touch of being left bread, milk butter etc was such a kind yet unexpected gesture and provided the warmest welcome to kick start our week at shore house. I have already recommended to friends to check it out.

Lovely stay at the shore house

We spend 5 lovely days at the shore house with our daughter and her family. Everyone had a fantastic few days. We enjoyed the garden and the private pebble beach at the bottom of the garden.

Late September

Shore House is in a beautiful location on the banks of Loch Lomond with a large garden and its own beach. The house Is dated but was very clean with a good supply of logs for the open fire. There was a problem with the heating system which was quickly remedied by the owners however our query about a missing sitting room curtain was unanswered, The master bedroom ensuite smelled slightly damp. Despite these minor irritations, our party which included 2 dogs and a baby had a lovely stay.

Short stay

Booked for a family birthday so had an age range from 4 weeks to 90. The welcome pack was much appreciated and Liz was amazing, she helped us with a heating problem even when she wasn’t on duty. Only one personal thing, I prefer a softer mattress

wonderful location and view. Well spaced out, comfortable accommodation. Great service too.

My wider family (8 people) had a fantastic stay at Shore House, Tarbet. The view alone is enough to take your breath away. The house is effectively a convenient, single level layout with the bedrooms away from the living accommodation, which makes it really nicely spaced (noise, away from cooking smells etc). Lovely mature, well-managed garden which touches the Loch. Plenty of kitchen utensils, large full height fridge and large full height freezer, utility room and 3 bedrooms have en-suite facilities with one of the larger bedrooms (without en suite) being alongside the family bathroom, so this all works well. Tarbet is really convenient for getting around this Loch as well as the nearby ones (Long, Fyne, Katharine etc) and also for taking the ferry around Lomond and to the other side (eastern). all in all a wonderful stay. thanks so much! adam

Even nicer than expected

Shore cottage was even nicer than expected. Spacious and well equipped, spotlessly clean and with many thoughtful touches. The views were fantastic and it was lovely to be able to wander through the garden and down to the lake (we swam there every day). Although some things were shut locally due to lockdown, we still managed to do nearly everything we planned including wake-boarding, hiring bikes and taking a boat trip. Liz was exceptionally helpful and flexible with lockdown uncertainties - responding very quickly to emails, changing dates and so on. Our whole experience was very positive and we would certainly go again and highly recommend to others.

Two night Family get together

Should of stayed longer, access to the water/beach could/should maybe improved, just need someone to come up with a way to exterminate midges. The whole family really enjoyed it.

Ladies Weekend Break Tarbet Loch Lomond

Great weekend was had by us, ladies at Shore House, Tarbet.We are a group of friends who meet up annually for a quality catch up. The property was ideal, clean and well equipped,directly situated on the shore with beautiful views over the loch and mountains. We had a lovely time just chilling, drinking and enjoying the beautiful views from all of the windows. We also received a discount for a boat trip which was also enjoyable. We would thoroughly recommend and certainly be back.

It was just what we needed and would stop again

Wonderful stay on the Bonnie Bonnie Banks

Family holiday - some of us drove up from London and others from Ayrshire. The house and location looked great on the website - but they were even more amazing on arrival!!! we stayed from 18th - 24th September - waking up to a view of the loch each morning and the fabulous house and garden made it difficult to leave to explore the surrounding area. more than enough room for 10 people and great living space for everyone to share or have some quieter time in the evenings. lots to do and see in the surrounding area - including cruises on the Loch which are a must!!! We had a fabulous time and would certainly return.

Perfect location

Shore House is perfectly located not just because of the superb views of Loch Lomond but for the local train station, shop and bar. The house and garden are immaculate. There was a minor problem of one broken and uncomfortable settee in the conservatory which needs fixing to ensure all guests can sit. Also a curtain needs to be replaced in the living room as they don’t close. Otherwise no complaints.
