This is a comfortable and spacious villa with an amazing outdoor space offering far reaching views and easy access to a beautiful beach. Skala is only a short walk away. We would definitely recommend to both small and large parties, you cannot beat the location
The Villa was stunning, we were all delighted when we arrived. The outdoor spaces really made it - the villa was so nice we were happy just staying there apart from a few trips to try different beaches. Plenty of very nice local restaurants. I would say this would suit you if you want a very chilled holiday, the space also lends itself to holidaying with friends and family. Didnât want to leave!
As a group of 2 large families with older children this villa was ideal. We made the most of the extra large swimming pool and thoroughly enjoyed the amazing sunsets from the multi level seating areas which gave panoramic views across the sea. The bedrooms were comfortable. We used the poolside dining area for evening meals. Skala was not too far to walk and there was plenty of taxis if you just wanted to walk one way. We would be happy to return.
The views, the grounds, beautiful panoramic views, a delight to have a private path to a gorgeous, natural, uncommercialised beach. Then there's the mountains and , the peace and quiet, yet perfect indoor and outdoor space for our friends and family to relax. I could not have wished for more.
This home and itâs setting were the high point of our Greek vacation. The home is roomy, elegant and well-equipped. The setting on a beautiful curve above the Ionian Sea - mountains to the right, water all around - was simply stunning. Our host was helpful but we had a rather slow reaction time
To our need for hot water. This didnât mar our fantastic stay⊠we just jumped in the pool.
We had an amazing time at Richardâs villa! Richard was great with giving us information before we arrived!! We had 9 adults & utilized every bedroom on the property. Thereâs so much space and privacy & an amazing pool which was amazing! The views, one of a kind!
A couple things that were a little frustrating.. I had to clean the annex house for almost an hour before 3 of our guest arrived at the home. There was tons of dirt & dead bugs in the floor & lots of spider webs in the corners & the countertops hadnât been wiped down. It seemed the annex was not a priority for the cleaners before we arrived. Iâm sure itâs not used very often so maybe it was just an oversight.
As for the property manager, we had to call her for a couple things like the pool/bbq area power not being on and the annex toilet being broken & she would never call me back that day like she said she would. I would have to call her the next day to find out information. The last time I had to call her twice & never got a call back for 2 days so I just didnât bother trying again.
- Lastly, this isnât necessarily a negative for the property but more of an FYI. We found out very quickly that majority of the taxis WILL NOT come the gravel rd. One of the guest staying with us was literally dropped off at the top of the road. Thankfully we did rent a SUV & could make multiple trips to get into town but it would have been nice to be able to get a taxi from time to time. I would still recommend this lovely villa!!
Magnifcently located Villa with a 270 degree view of the Sea
This is one of the finest located villas we have ever been fortunate to stay-in. Sitting on a promontory in the South of the island the vistas from the property are simply superb. The Villa has a 270 degree view of the sea and uninterupted views across the straits to Zante. There are no immediate neighbours and so peace and quiet (and no cockerels) is assured.
The pool and outside seating areas are beautiful with a large covered table under a shade next to an outside kitchen with a gas barbeque. There are plenty of loungers and comfy outside seats all with a wonderful view. There is also a shower and loo cabana next to the pool.
The Villa has direct access to the beach which is very quiet below the villa. You can snorkle around the rocks to the South or walk along the beach (20 mins) to a couple of excellent restuarants (Anemos and Tartarooga) . We went out at night and saw a turtle coming up onto the beach to lay its eggs.
Inside the villa the kitchen wants for nothing. Two dishwashers, plenty of utensils and a vast fridge with ice maker. The supermarket is only 10 mins drive away from the Villa or we walked to Skala most mornings, for a coffee before it became too hot, and that took about 30 mins each way.
The airconditioning works very well. We were there when it was touching 40 degrees outside and all the rooms remained cool. The air conditioning devices in the bedrooms are very quiet.
The local Manager, Othon, was delightful and very helpful as was the cleaning lady who came twice a week to change linen, wash the floors etc.
This Villa is perfect for a very large Family or a number of Family Groups. It's location could not be better if you are looking for peace and quiet........and we suspect that in normal years Skala could be quite lively in the evenings.
It's simply a lovely Villa and we thoroughly enjoyed our fortnight there this Summer.
Fabulous place for two adult families to stay - view absolutely stunning - amazing pool and easy private access to the beach .
Would love to return soon.

This property is a second home to my family; we fell in love with it when we first saw it and have had some amazing family times here; please come and enjoy it and treat it like your home.
It has direct beach access via a 2minute walk over our own sand dunes to a lovely safe sandy beach. The views over 270 degrees across the sea from the southern most tip of Kefalonia are unique. We have built multiple viewing areas to enjoy the different views. There is a large private heated pool with an integrated jacuzzi. It has plenty of space to live, eat and sleep with amazing facilities and lots of private seating areas. The beach is home to the largest breeding ground for turtles on the Island with laying to hatching happening from June to October, there is always something to see.
