Great rental

Had a great week at this property. While the master shower and kitchen could use some updating based on other places we’ve stayed, everything else was fantastic, especially the location. The property and pool are wonderful and conveniently located across the street from the beach. We also had everything we needed for the beach, including a wagon and beach chairs and umbrella. Check-in was easy and Laurie was very responsive for any questions we had. We would stay here again.

Great Stay!

The rental accomodations exceeded our expectations. The unit was MUCH larger than what the pictures shows online. The place was clean, safe and provided amazing views for our vacation. No question we would stay here again. Some minor challenges were some outlets were not working and the owner let us know this in advance. Another minor item was making sure we kept the nice white carpet in the unit clean. Other than these very minor items this is the best place we have stayed at in Siesta Key and will be back!

Had everything we needed!

Our stay went perfectly! No stress over the property/check in/check out. The unit had everything we needed for the beach for adults and kids, which made a huge difference being a family who flew in. Great location for the trolley and beach. We didn't need to rent a car which was great!

Love Siesta Key

Loved our stay at Siesta Key. This lovely condo is the best location for the beach plus the pool is great too. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Our host, Kim, was so great and easy to communicate with. If we get the opportunity to stay here again, we would definitely do it.

Perfect!!

My friend & I do a girls trip every year. This year we wanted to be near/on the water. Kim’s ( HOST) place was perfect for that! It’s right across the street from Siesta Key Beach. If the beach isn’t your thing, there is a beautiful pool on the property with plenty of seating. Down the street is the square. There is plenty of places to choose for dinner, drinks,or shopping if you like. First I want to say just how clean Kim’s condo was. Kudos to the cleaning staff! There are TWO outside decks to sit and enjoy. One overlooks the pool, ( sunny side) the other is on the backside ( shaded side). No need to bring beach towels,Kim has it fully stocked.There is also a small cooler, some beach toys for the kids, beach chairs, umbrella and a nice wagon to haul it all if you don’t want to carry anything. Oh and if you happen to have a car, the condo parking space is covered which is a HUGE plus. Our car was never hot! Overall this condo was perfect for our needs. We will definitely do another girls vacation at Kim’s place. Oh and before I forget, Kim was awesome.She got right back to me when I requested the week that I wanted. Also a couple of days before we left she sent “ perfect” instructions on where to park, how to enter the condo upon arrival, and of course what to do when vacation is over. I can’t thank her enough. Great host, perfect communication!! THANK YOU KIM……. Trish

We had a wonderful time while staying at Laurie’s condo. It was so wonderful to be within a short walk to the beach and a 20 mins walk to Siesta Key Village. Laurie is a delightful host.

Right across the street from the beach. Local trolly is free and provides access to Siesta Village, which is great. Laurie was helpful with any questions we had.

Such an amazing property with an amazing host. Laurie went above and beyond and really helped to make this trip special for my family. She was kind and quick to respond in all communication. Lovely condo

We had a lovely stay in Siesta Key. This condo is located just across from the public beach and very close to Siesta Village. It is quiet, has wonderful balcony space, is comfortably furnished/. The owner, Laurie Noble was very helpful and kind and responded to any questions quickly and thoroughly. We stayed for two weeks and the time flew. Looking forward to a return visit.

Perfect Location

As described the unit is across the street from public beach. Trolly stop in front of condo was so convenient. Unit is 4th floor overlooking pool, very nice views,. Main living area was very bright as the photos show. Pool area and grounds were spectacular. Guests staying at condos were mostly repeat vacationers, very friendly and helpful. Great relaxing vaca.

Nice location, house, and owner

The location is perfect. Literally 4-5 minutes to the beach. There is a pool when is too windy and the water is warmed. The house is clean overall and very easy to access. There is a covered parking spot and I suggest to rent a car to see all the other beaches. The owner Kim is very responsive. I texted her a couple of times about some questions and she replied in 3-5 minutes. I do highly suggest this place. Good for family and not only. Really good vacation. Thank you.

Unique Floor Plan

Our stay at Our House at the Beach was very comfortable and convenient to our activities. The two weeks we visited were exceptionally cool for January, so that limited water activities, but the pool was wonderful to laze by in the afternoon. The beach was just across the road and the parking lot; again very convenient. We both enjoyed the roominess and unique layout of the condo which made it more homey for us. The views from windows were wonderful, both during the day and at nighttime.

Disappointed

Screen doors were all broken and off the tracks. I had to run to the local hardware store and repair them as much as I could. The slider door pictured behind the couch is glued or welded shut and will not open. Patio floor had not been swept or mopped in years.Patio chairs were old and rusty, mold on cushions. Sliders had a thick layer of dirt and grime. AC thermostat broke during our stay and had to be replaced. The dryer sets off the heat detector in the unit. The workaround for that is to pull the dryer away from the wall about six inches, leave the closet door open, and place a floor fan at the base of the closet to circulate the air. The lint build up in the back of the dryer is so thick it that I'm surprised that it hasn't caused a fire yet. So I spent a good day (6-8 hours) just doing general, basic maintenance on a condo that I don't own. Kim was responsive about the AC but the rest I got blown off with excuses.

Another great stay at Siesta Key. A couple of minor teething problems getting into the apartment and with shower etc but apartment was very bright and clean and great location across from the beach

Overall nice condo

This property is in a great location. The beach is within walking distance which was nice. The kitchen could stand to be updated but overall it’s a nice condo. The pool is very nice too. There may be a slight problem with the plumbing because every time we flushed the toilet in the master bathroom we heard loud noises coming from inside the walls. That part of our stay was a bit annoying. Other than that no other issues with the unit. I’m sure the owner will take care of that. If asked I’d recommend this place. Plenty of restaurants nearby too which was nice and convenient.

Morning coffee on the balcony over the pool

Lovely gulf breezes on the balcony that overlooks the pool. If you must keep the drapes pulled when the sun is strong, you still enjoy a lot of natural sunlight. If all of the wonderful, local restaurants don’t entice you, the kitchen is fully quipped with spotless stove, fridge, micro, dishwasher, pots, knives, coffee maker, etc. Ample closet space, hangers, and new linens. Residence of the building are friendly and kind towards vacation renters. The covered parking is deeply appreciated on hot days. Overall property is well maintained. The best beach in the country is directly across the street. Laurie is truly the kindest and most responsive host you will ever know!

Kim Noble is a TV Producer in advertising who lives in Greenwich, CT. She enjoys pickle ball, sailing and the arts. She has taken over the hosting duties from her Mom, an original owner of the condo.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Please note that this is our own home, we do not just use it for rentals and it is newly furnished including large flat screen TV, couches, refrigerator, dishwasher and patio furniture. We also provide cable & WiFi. Our home is fully equipped for housekeeping and we provide linens and pay for cleaning before you arrive and after you leave. We have huge windows in every room and this is a corner unit. The entire wall of the living room is a series of glass sliders leading to a balcony. The glass wraps around and the entire wall of the dining room is also a series of glass sliders going to a second balcony. We overlook the gardens and the pool and are on the fourth floor so we have lovely views and you can see the Sarasota skyline in the distance. Our heated pool has a large pavilion adjacent to it which is covered and furnished with tables and chars. There is also a gas grill there to cook out. We are just a few steps away from Siesta Beach, rated the best beach in America. It is a very wide each with fine white sand and you can walk for miles including up to Siesta Village and down to areas for shelling and snorkeling. There is a picnic area at the beach, as well as rest rooms, a snack bar and a resort shop. The beach is wonderful for swimming and has crystal clear light blue water. Children of all ages love it and so will you!
