Un charmant cottage indépendant situé à seulement 10 minutes en voiture du village pittoresque de Betws-y-Coed, connu sous le nom de Gateway to Snowdonia.

Old Rectory Cottage a été entièrement rénové avec goût et décoré avec goût pour offrir un séjour agréable à Snowdonia.

Le chalet est dans un endroit formidable; Betws y Coed 10 minutes, Surf Snowdonia 5 minutes, Conwy 15 minutes. En plus de la marche et du vélo fantastiques, et pratique pour Zip World.

Old Rectory Cottage est situé dans un cadre paisible avec une vue imprenable sur la vallée de Conwy.

Juste une courte promenade des pubs, restaurant et boucheries / épiceries dans le village de Trefriw. Et le magnifique moulin à laine Trefriw est une promenade sur la route.

Il y a de nombreuses promenades à faire depuis la porte d'entrée vers des endroits magnifiques tels que les lacs de Crafnant et de Geirionydd afin que vous n'ayez pas à conduire.

Le Old Rectory Cottage est parfait pour les familles et les amis avec un espace pour se détendre et profiter de vos vacances. Le chalet peut accueillir confortablement 6 personnes et accepte les chiens.

Au rez-de-chaussée, vous trouverez une grande cuisine, une salle de bains (avec baignoire et douche) et un beau salon avec un poêle à bois.

Un deuxième salon donne sur le jardin et le patio. Celui-ci peut également servir de 3e chambre privée grâce au grand canapé-lit double.

À l'étage, vous trouverez deux grandes chambres avec des fenêtres à double aspect offrant une vue sur la vallée de Conwy et une autre salle de bains avec douche à l'italienne. Nous offrons le choix entre deux lits de taille superking qui peuvent être composés de quatre lits simples si cela est préférable.

Le jardin privé comprend un coin salon, un patio et une terrasse, ainsi qu'un hangar sécurisé pour verrouiller les vélos de montagne.

Il y a un parking pour deux voitures dans l'allée.

A lovely place to stay in a lovely area. The views from the property are gorgeous. Rachael and Michael provide all the information before you stay and provide a much appreciated welcome pack. Good location for all the many activities North Wales has to offer. We definitely hope to stay again soon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is extremely clean and well equipped. The rooms are huge and the beds are very comfortable with quality linen. The location is ideal for for exploring the area. Thank you for the treats which were a lovely surprise.

Old Rectory Cottage is situated in a beautiful, peaceful location but close enough to Llanrwst and Betws y Coed for groceries, shopping and food options. Llanberis and the Snowdon Mountain Railway is only 35 minutes and one of the most beautiful drives you will ever experience. Hosts Rachael and Mike have done an incredible job with this property. 3 large, spacious bedrooms each with a wonderful view. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to self cater and there is also a charcoal grill available outdoors. They also went the extra mile by decorating for my wife’s birthday. We particularly enjoyed sitting out on the deck enjoying the view and tranquility, the private garden and summer house. We loved our time here and cannot recommend highly enough.

Access to the property could be very dificult for a person with restricted mobility. I may have missed this in the covering information, but I saw no reference to this. One of our party had a real problem getting from the road up to the front door.

Excellent Cottage

The cottage was beautiful, with lovely views in a very friendly village, only 5 minutes easy walk to the fairy falls. There are 2 pubs very close both serving food , The Fairy Falls Hotel is Indian food, very nice. The Old Ship Inn does pub grub and real ales. Both were excellent for food .The cottage was spotless when we arrived and there was a lovely welcome pack. A lovely little sitting out area with tables and chairs again with the lovely views. A bonus a lovely summer house if you want a little piece and quiet or quiet drink. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bedrooms were big with very comfortable beds. I would highly recommend this cottage,(just a note there are 6 steps up to the cottage and no other way in) not a problem to us. All in all a beautiful cottage , we loved it and had a fantastic stay.

Clean and comfortable cottage in a picturesque and convenient location

Despite the wet and windy weather, we had a lovely holiday in North-Wales. The cottage was pretty, spacious, clean and comfortable, and it had everything we needed. The welcome pack with Welsh goodies left by Rachael and Mike made us feel welcome from the start. The view from the top of the hill is beautiful and Trefriw is conveniently located to do lots of sightseeing. We could not believe how impressive the Fairy Falls waterfall was - less than a one minute stroll from the cottage. The characterful Old Ship Inn had a good menu, fine food and a cosy atmosphere. If you'd like to eat at Chandler's Brasserie it is best to book beforehand as they were fully booked during our stay. To fellow travellers, we can recommend the Cwm Idwal walk which is spectacular. The Great Orme Tramway Funicular and a cream tea at The Lemon Tree (with Alice in Wonderland theme) in Llandudno are well worth a visit. Beddgelert is so quaint and picturesque, not to be missed. Portmeirion with its vibrant colours, impressive architecture and woodland walk is a lovely experience. And Betws-y-Coed is only a short drive from Trefriw and good for some shopping on rainy days, offering a few eateries and beautiful falls walks as well. We can definitely recommend a stay at The Rectory Cottage in Trefriw.

Hi, we're Mike and Rachael. We live nearby the cottage. A few years ago we use to own a bed and breakfast in nearby Betws y Coed.

We enjoy walking in Snowdonia with our two dogs Boots and Benji. Mike is a keen golfer, whilst Rachael enjoys running and yoga.

Old Rectory Cottage is a very spacious detached house.

There are 3 large bedrooms both with double aspect windows. One bedroom is downstairs, with doors opening onto the garden and a Smart TV. In all the bedrooms, the beds can either be made up as superkings or singles.

The house has 2 bathrooms with a choice of shower or bath. One bathroom upstairs and one downstairs.

The lounge comfortably seats six people. There's a log burner and Smart TV.

The kitchen has views over the valley. From the kitchen step up into the dinning area which comfortably seats 6 people.

There is a small private garden with patio area and views over the Conwy Valley. The garden is secure making it great for dogs. There's a garden cabin for to relax in.

Driveway parking for two cars.

Old Rectory Cottage is great for families and friends. There's plenty of space with two communal rooms downstairs - kitchen/diner and the lounge.

The bedrooms are large. The superking beds can also be made up as single beds so there is flexible sleeping arrangements. Please notify Mike and Rachael in advance of arrival with your choice of bed configuration.

And you are not limited to having just the one bathroom - there are two bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs.

There are wonderful views of the Conwy Valley from house. It's lovely either relaxing in the garden with a glass of wine or keeping warm in the cosy lounge with the roaring fire in the wood burner.
