WINDWARD Lodge - GRAND LAKEFRONT & Ski Slope View - dort 14+

La grande propriété en pente douce possède 150 pieds de front de mer avec une grande piscine et quai de bateau de 50 pieds qui peut accueillir trois 20+ bateaux de pied. L'une des plus belles vues sur le lac dans l'une des meilleures zones. La maison est située à quelques miles d'une épicerie, médicaments, articles de sport, et les magasins de vidéo; également le lancement du bateau de l'État. La ville victorienne de Hawley, PA, est juste un autre mile avec ses magasins d'antiquités, des restaurants, des magasins, et le théâtre en direct.

Ceci est la bonne extrémité du lac, L'autre extrémité est étroite et peut faire un aller-retour au magasin, une heure. (Il est un grand lac) La zone est plein de choses à faire à partir d'un Fun Park Sports et de caresser les animaux zoo pour paint ball et le golf. Sur le côté plus calme, il y a promenades dans la nature, Triple W Ranch avec l'équitation et le sanctuaire d'oiseaux Lacawac pour ne citer que quelques-uns.

La maison dispose de 5 chambres, il était 6 mais deux, lorsqu'il est fait dans une grande salle (la salle de lits superposés), qui dispose de 6 lits jumeaux et une taille complète en elle. Les quatre autres chambres, toutes ont une taille queen

Les locataires soit, fournir leurs propres draps ou peuvent les contracter moyennant un supplément. Il y a un très grand 27 x 40 style lodge salon. La cuisine est de 12 x 30 et les sièges 10-12. Il y a 3 complète et 1 demi-bains. La grande salle a une table de billard, baby-foot, la réglementation BOARD DART, une taille de REINE lit gigogne une taille futon double et une salle de bain complète

Family New Year Celebration Beautiful

Beautiful older home in a fantastic location. The view is spectacular with easy access to the lake for most. People with mobility issues might find it a bit challenging as there are irregular sized steps. We visited over New Year but can imagine a wonderful time in the warmer months

Thanksgiving Family Holiday

Location was perfect for our family gathering. The cabin atmosphere was rustic and relaxing. The kitchen table worked nicely for our Thanksgiving meal. The extra dishwasher was a bonus. The owner supplied wood for the fireplace which was a nice touch. The family enjoyed the basement game room.

Fun Winter Getaway

This house was perfect for a big group. We rented it for our 12 year old boys who go to summer sleep away camp together to have a weekend getaway mid year. The house was so comfortable and the boys LOVED having a big bunk room to share all together and the long kitchen table where they could all gather and eat. The moms loved gathering in the large living room with plenty of seating for all. The location was beautiful right on the lake and we enjoyed watching sunrise over the frozen lake. It was also conveniently located close to some restaurants as well as a full grocery store and not too far from skiing. The owners were so communicative and responsive. It was great renting from them.

Great location, lots of fun

An excellent place to stay with a classic lodge feel. The smaller bedrooms were a welcome tradeoff for the expansive common areas and large bunk room for the kids which made fun a very fun trip!

Great place to stay!

We had a great time at Windward Lodge. The house has a ton of room and a million dollar view of the lake. Steven is a great host. Definitely looking forward to staying again.

Great Family Trip

We were a family of 7 adults and 9 kids staying over. We had a great time, the house is spacious, very well maintained, enough room for a big family getaway. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including a very large table, extra towels, sheets along with washer and dryer on property (very convenient). Downstairs room was fun for kids, as well as the big yard and beach/dock area. Plenty of seating inside and outside, great fishing location and the view of the lake was truly amazing! Steve and PJ are very friendly hosts. We are definitely looking forward to make this a recurring trip!

Loved the place. Great view and great location for quick runs or getting out and about. Property manager made things very easy and would definitely put that on the rebook list.

House was a bit dirty when we checked in but the owners responded immediately and made it right. Great house and location with amazing lake views. Superb and gracious hosts.

Excellent family getaway

Lake views were magnificent. Grandchildren enjoyed discovering the back yard down to the lake. We started a small fire in outside fire pit in the afternoon and the kids make s’mores.

Relaxing get away

We really enjoyed our stay. The view was stunning. The house offered everything we could need. We spent hours fishing, boating, playing games and relaxing around the fire pit. We enjoyed it so much that we booked again for next year.

Beautiful getaway!

We stayed in the area for a family wedding. We had many family members stay with us. The house was spacious, clean, and had an amazing view of the water. The hosts were easy to contact. I would highly recommend this home and want to come back for a Poconos weekend :)

A great vacation week at Windward Lodge

We stayed from Saturday 9/2 through Sunday 9/8.. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and our host Steve's accomodations. The property is beautiful, with easy access to Lake Wallenpaupack. Our host was very easy to communicate with, and provides everything necessary for a great time in the Poconos. Thank you !!

Great house and back yard

The backyard was perfect. Places for sun and shade, lots of room, lots of chairs and a great view of the water from there and the house. Kitchen had everything we needed and two dishwashers! Owner communication was extremely prompt and informative. The house is very comfortable and kids loved the game room. Interior photos don’t do it justice. Read the reviews!

Terrific older lakefront home for boating, fishing off the dock, swimming, campfires, eating outside on the deck, playing games, watching movies together (plenty of room!) playing pool and foos ball- just so many things to do and places to spread out

Family Reunion

What a view, pictures do no justice. Large lakefront with a dock. We had 10 people and could have brought 10 more. inside was huge with a lower level game room and spacious main area. We would definitely return and recommend it to friends. Oh yeah Steve was great!

Would definitely stay here again

First, I would like to say that the owners were so gracious and so easy to contact. We had absolutely no problems, but they communicated with us, even when we didn’t have a problem. The house and view and access to the lake could not be more perfect. The size was excellent. It had plenty of space for all of the kids and the adults. The huge kitchen and table was great for dinners and cooking. I especially liked the little hideaway cubbyhole restroom under the staircase. The kitchen was excellently stocked with plates and dishes and glasses and cookware and pots and pans more than any house I’ve ever stayed in before. No complaints in those areas. The neighbors were working on remodeling their home and there was a huge dumpster sitting at the top of their property and it obstructed the view trying to get in and out of the driveway. We found that very annoying, especially when cars were coming, and we couldn’t see them. Aside from that, our stay was excellent. I highly recommend this property.

Not as advertised or seen in pictures

Rented this house for a week with a very large group of both kids and adults. While it is true that this home has plenty of room for a large group, most of the other qualities of the house were a disappointment and not as advertised. The house was very dirty upon our arrival and we spent a lot of the first day vacuuming. Also the lower patio was covered in shattered glass so the kids could not walk or play there at all. There is not anything between the rails on the upper deck as it shows in the pictures (and the rails are very low) so the kids could not really play on that deck either. The area by the water has clearly not been maintained in a very long time and there were piles of sticks, leaves, etc. that had been raked and left all over the yard. It has the potential to be a beautiful property but was absolutely not as advertised on this or any other site!
