Armamar : villas

We have spent 12 wonderful days in Quinta dos lemoes. The house is beautiful and there is more than enough space for 8 people. The four bedrooms are large and looks like hotel rooms. One of them is the master bedroom, with a very spacious bathroom, a dressing room and air-conditioning. All rooms offer a tremendous view on the valley. This house is a family house, and you can feel it at any moment. Anyway, we really felt like we were at home! We were actually the first people occupying the house for holidays. Jean-Jacques, the owner, was very available, although not physically present. Maria, who leaves in the nearby is very kind and helpful. Although she does not speak neither French nor English, the communication was not a problem. If we really look for possible improvements, we would mention the air-conditioning only available in one bedroom. The absence of a garden for teenagers to play football can also be mentioned; but the terrace is huge, and there are so many other things to do than playing football in the Douro valley! If really needed, a very funny Portuguese table football is available!
