Alonissos : gîtes et cottages

From our  initial communication , Pipitsa  was most helpful and informative giving us all the transport options (ferries buses and car hire) on the island .We felt very welcome at d Daphne cottage .We were  amazed by the fabulous views and the lovely terrace and how quiet the place was. The swimming pool was very clean and perfect for our family. The house was also super clean , sheets and towels were changed very often.  Our host could not have done more to make our holiday special .The cottage is close to wonderful unspoilt beaches.  We discovered new uncrowded beaches on the island every day. The cottage offers good access to supermarkets and local tavernas where we had good value delicious meals . We found the island magical and very unspoilt. Our teenagers were delighted to go on the sunset kayak trip and paddle boarding all in all we had a brilliant holiday Thank you Pipitsa and Giannis !

An amazing little cottage surrounded by olive trees and completely lost in the mountains of Skopelos (though 12 min from the main Skopelos port). So yes it is remote and you need a vehicle to get there, but what a reward !!! The place is so peaceful, so relaxing, without neighbours... The cottage is very charming and well equiped (can fit up to 4 persons), with a large yard/terrace. Nina, our host, is Greek-American. She has been the most enthusiastic, communicative and helpful person we have met : happy to welcome us with her husband even late at night with a big smile and a mini van to help us bring the luggage to the cottage, she arranged taxis for us, and met our needs in different ways. We highly recommend this place to whoever loves Nature and for those who like to have relaxing holidays.

We had a wonderful time in the Blue Cottage. Surrounded by nature, it is a perfect place to enjoy the beauty of Scopelos away from the crowd. Our children loved the pool! Dimitris and his family are lovely, welcoming and easygoing people! We left their family cottage with fond memories of the magic moments we spent there. We can only recomend this place! Thank you! 🙂
