This was our second stay with Vera hotel. The rooms were clean and they were very accommodating to our special requests. Breakfast was very good and the staff is very friendly.

Fantastic staff. Very friendly and they work so hard to make it an enjoyable stay. Great chef and the half board option is fantastic value for money. Fantatic bakery next door is 24 hours. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

There is a very noisy building site next door and opposite an even noisier karaoke bar. So unless you stay in a room out the back you will be ready to leave after 24 hours. The restaurant at the front is nice and it's an easy walk to the beach (but Venus Beach is much nicer). It's also an easy walk to the shopping centre. The male receptionist is way more helpful than the female one and helped me move rooms. You can't charge anything when you're not in the room as the electricity goes off when you take the room key out.

Everything is wonderful. At the entrance they were very nice, the place is very clean, the rooms are spacious, the selection is kept and clean. Delicious and high quality meals, the hotel's bar is also excellent.

Highly Recommended!

Highly Recommended! Excellent reception, very friendly informative and professional. Very good food with plenty of vegetarian options. Two great pools. Good location with many tavernas etc within walking distance, as are also Tombs of the Kings (about 750m) and the harbour (2k). We stay in hotels a lot, but this is the first time ever to describe a hotel as 'spotlessly clean'. Cleaning crew constantly working and the whole hotel and rooms were spotless!

This was a great option for our stay. The accommodation was clean and well maintained. The buffet breakfast was very good with lots of options. The Staff were very helpful and it was in a good location for exploring. Only downside was parking. There were some paved spots adjacent to the hotel but the overflow parking was behind and was basically a rough gravel area that needed some attention and clean up. Would stay again

Nice hotel clean spacious rooms. Good location easy to walk to many things. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast - lots of choices. The only downside was the noise as there is live music nearby every night until 11-12 pm and construction noise starting early at 7am.

Amazing, very happy.

Was a very nice hotel we're glad we stayed there we were only there one night but we enjoyed their pool have a good gym a sauna and a jacuzzi. Breakfast was amazing it had a very good choice. Location is perfect it is near to all of the other restaurants and all of the local sites like the harbour and the shopping centre and all the other beaches.

The room didn’t look like what the photos showed on Expedia. We asked reception about this and they said every apartment is different - the issue with this is that they only show one type on Expedia and so it feels slightly false advertising. Breakfast is fine but we didn’t like that people were allowed to smoke - we had to move tables as the smell from the lady smoking behind us was horrible. It’s also set on a busy street and whilst the listing says “soundproof” it really wasn’t. The room was clean and staff friendly, however. It’s a short 20 minute walk to the harbour. The air con works well. There is a small kitchenette but it’s not well equipped and tea towels/washing up liquid (the essentials) aren’t provided.

When I booked the hotel is was marked as having a laundry so therefore I only took enough clothes for about 4 days. Then I was told there was no laundry. Had to find one myself.

For the price paid, this is an excellent hotel. The rooms weee basic but equipped with everything you need in an apart-hotel. It has 2 nice pools with sun loungers. Our room had a view of the pool and sea on the 3rd floor. Check in was smooth. You have little balcony’s with your room which is nice too with deck chairs table and parasol if it’s not covered. Breakfast was excellent considering it was also free with fresh cheese, meats, salad, fruit, yhogurt, bread, pastries and hot options like bacon egg sausage beans potatoes etc. and the juice was not watered down which I’ve found in many hotels which are higher rating than this! The location is excellent too; for every area of Pafos inc the bus stations. Also a bus directly outside to coral bay which is nice, but I would recommend a visit to the tombs and Venus beach which is a short walk from the hotel. There is a gym / sauna / hot tub but didn’t use these as we were so busy. Beds were comfy enough too, and the aircon works a treat which is nice. Some of the walls / doors could do with a little re paint, and the noise between rooms can be heard such as loud sneezing, but even with these two very minor issues ( as we had quiet neighbours ) I would absolutely recommend staying here for your pafos break.

Shorty break

Booked this hotel last minute as a short break away from the uk rain. The location of the hotel is really good as there are plenty of shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk, the shopping mall is approx a 5 minute walk and Pafos harbour between 15 and 20 mins. The hotel is 3 star which is probably slightly underrated. The decor is good and everywhere is immaculately clean although parts could do with a bit of a makeover ie mirrors losing their edges, cushions in the living areas of the apartments and pictures on the walls The staff are mostly very helpful and the bar staff are really friendly. My only issue we had was on checkout day. Our flight wasn’t until 11pm and we’d asked if we could keep our room, which we were told was possible but to ask on the morning we were leaving. As we left our room for breakfast on our last day we met a cleaner and she asked if we were leaving that day to which we said yes but we’re hoping to keep the room on. She checked on her hand terminal and told us that no one was booked in so she could see no reason why not, however when we asked the gentleman on reception, he didn’t even check their system and said ‘no’ and we had to be out by 12pm. We spoke to a few other people who were leaving the same day, and the same thing had happened to them. As they charged €35 to keep the room, this seems to be money they are throwing away for no reason. They do offer showers in the gym but you can’t even book a time slot to use them.

Terrible stay in a nutshell!!! Cleanliness: The room looked pretty clean on the surface, but our eyes caught a bed bug on our next night and it was absolutely horrible, we became paranoid because the infestation of bedbugs and the fact that it can be carried with you in your clothes just ruined our whole vacation. We barely slept that night sitting on the chairs after paying for an apartment! Security & safety: Horrific. The hotel is accessible by anyone and everyone. No security and the parking exit door was wide open and its right at an ally. You can only imagine who walks through this ally at night and can simply walk in through the exit door and wander the rooms hallways! After midnight, there was a woman crying for help in that ally and a guy cursing at her, both yelling! Just horrifying and on top of that the balcony door doesn’t lock!!! Food: we only tried breakfast the first night and skipped it the second. It was so poor and everything tasted so artificial. Staff: only the cleaning lady is nice. The receptionists can’t even pretend to be welcoming (except for on brunette receptionist who felt genuinely bad when we informed her about our experience, but that was the extent of it). We simply couldn’t wait to get out of that place!! Would not recommend to ladies traveling alone especially if it’s a small group, nor would i recommend it to youth as the majority of the guests are 50 and the pool and facilities are just so poor to nonexistent.
