Part of a historic farmstead (founded in 1857) newly renovated, secluded country retreat - beautiful farm house set alongside classic granite rock formations with 360 degree views. A truly unique retreat. 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, raindrop showers, spa bath and great outdoor firepit with Pizza oven. Fully decked out house and very comfy beds. This is the place for unwinding and enjoying the scenery. We had family and dogs there and everyone had a blast. The cottage is gorgeous, and the sunsets amazing. Maldon was cute and only 5mins away in the car.

Wonderful country getaway

We really enjoyed our time at the country cottage. It was beautifully furnished and the hosts provided lots of extra touches to make it feel special. We arrived at night so were very grateful they'd left lots of lights on. We loved the Zero Co bathroom products and the hamper upon arrival. Having a firepit was great too, and that view was superb!

The house was stylish, light, warm and very clean. The linen was high quality and the whole house was beautifully decorated. We felt very welcomed and the host answered any questions promptly. Thank you Claire.

Dream location and farm stay

The property itself was very clean and well stocked with everything from good quality bathroom provisions to kitchen condiments although we ate out most of the time. The property manager Jamie was very helpful and also gave us a lot of tips about interesting places to visit. We would definitely go back again for a longer stay in this lovely farmhouse with a lot of Privacy and stunning views. We were only 6 adults in our fifties but there was another spare room for another couple with bunk beds so ideal for two More kids. Highly recommend the location and maldon getaways staff.

Girls weekend

The home was wonderfully appointment and beautify styled. For the 7 of us ladies. The owner was easily reached for getting lost - thanks Siri haha. Some lovely drives to maldon Castlemaine. And even threw in a winery. All the appliances and necessities for a home stay made eating in very easy. Would highly recommend

Love love loved it

Stunning house and position. We stayed over a few days including one that was 37 degrees, the house with the air conditioners was cool and delightful. Fabulous hamper left with the best home made muesli ever. The welcome book was fascinating. The farm has been in the family for 6 generations and house is from the 1940s and was moved from Melbourne and meticulously renovated. Views stunning and great walks with boulders to climb. Just perfect and hosts were so helpful.

Magic!

We can’t fault this lovely property. It was all we hoped and wished for. Quiet, spacious, impeccably clean, comfortable, warm and so welcoming. Communication and instructions were excellent. And the views? Ensconced on the front verandah in the warmth of the sun, gazing over open paddocks and hills, two horses ambled by being ridden down the track. Time suspended. Again, out by the fire pit in the glow of the setting sun, rugged up with blankets provided, the smoke drifting into the air, surrounded by magnificent trees……and the scent of the gums. Magic!
