We stayed 7 days in this beautiful unit while my boys attended the Western Prospects Hockey Showcase at the Okanagan Hockey Academy. But what made this stay so special, was the extraordinary customer service we received from Sandra and Roland. The unit was beautifully decorated with TVs in all of the rooms and a generous cable TV lineup. Additionally there was plenty to do outside with the heated swimming pool and jetted hot tub. There was an ample supply of board games for when it rained and there were plenty of pool toys that the kids really enjoyed. Sandra and Roland were delightful hosts and thought of everything stocking the shelves and refrigerator with 3 kinds of cereal and popsicles for the kids! They truly made us feel welcome and like we were part of the family. We will definitely stay again if we come back to the Okanagan! 5 stars for sure!

Great hockey camp and wine getaway

The lower living area was great! Clean and well cared for. We had a great time in the pool and hot tub. Thw backyard was a flat and grassy area which was perfect for the kids. The property had an amazing view of the city of Penticton, mountains and the lake. Roland and Sandra were fantastic hosts, very friendly and helpful. We had a great time and hope to return!

Great experience, Sandra and Roland were very accommodating and hospitable. Tailored to our family needs with younger kids and were very friendly. They were considerate of our privacy and gave us tips and ideas to do while we were there. Would definitely go back

Awesome backyard paradise

Sandra and Roland have a lovely lower level suite in their home we rented this August. It is clean and well outfitted with lots of nice touches including games, AV equipment, welcome bottles of wine and so forth. The real stunner here is however their property. We had exclusive access to their backyard, beautiful pool and hot tub. The view is not to be missed especially at sunset. There was even an outdoor washroom area (great for a post pool shower), along with the dining and outdoor seating areas. Sandra and Roland were very welcoming, quick to respond to any questions and had lots of ideas for tours, restaurants, local shopping and wineries. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Contrary to prior review we did not find their pets noisy or bothersome at all (4 very small cute dogs).

Things We Wished We Had Known From the Ad

We stayed at this location in mid July of 2022 for a week with our kids. Great backyard and pool. Wonderful views of the City. Beds were very comfortable. The unit was nice and clean. Plenty of games to play in a spacious backyard. Hosts approved our kids to stay and took care to try to make our stay enjoyable. Freezies were waiting for our kids in the freezer, along with various other personal touches that were appreciated. We wished we had known the following about the property, which we only found out about in the days leading up to our stay or once we arrived: 1. This is a basement suite. We thought we were renting the whole house. 2. The owners live on the top floor of the house. The ad did say caretakers on site, but we did not realize this meant they lived in the whole upper suite. The ad was changed right before we arrived to note the caretakers are on site in the upper suite. 3. The owners have multiple small dogs. The dogs do bark. The owners tried to keep the dogs quiet, but they would bark whenever someone approached the house, or whenever they were on the back deck, or whenever they heard us making noise in the basement. Our toddler learned to say "shh" during the stay because she heard it so often when the owners tried to keep the dogs quiet. 4. A European kitchen means there is a sink and a variety of small appliances you can plug in. There is no stove, though there is a single hot plate (Master Chef). 5. The kitchen is actually the laundry room, and it felt isolated from the other areas. There is limited counter space. The kitchen is fully stocked though, which was nice. 6. The full sized fridge is not in the kitchen (because it is a laundry room converted into a kitchen, so it has no room for a full sized fridge). It is near the front door, which makes for constant back and forth from the sink in the kitchen to the fridge. There is a bar fridge in the kitchen though. The owners did quietly amend their ad when we raised concern with them before we arrived, but for future guests, we thought it best to set out the things that we wished we had known before booking.

We purchased this Property 4 years ago and have spent careful thought and time creating a relaxing, wonderful space for you to enjoy. It's truly a Paradise - we named it SunFlight Views due to the glorious Sun - so warm and inviting, Flight - for the airport view, stunning amount of eagles, hawks, falcons, magpies, woodpeckers, finches, too many to list - a thrill for any Birdwatcher, and Views - for the incredible Mountain, City and Lake views. Every night you will be delighted with a Sunset to inspire your artist within.

We are located in the center of town, a short drive to the Beaches, multiple Wineries, Golf courses, Shopping, Farmer's Market, Groceries, Liquor Store, Restaurants etc. Nothing is far from this stunning location!
