distance de la ville et un bloc et demi de marche de la route de la plage Flamenco cette maison est un bon point de départ pour explorer l'île de Culebra, ou tout simplement se détendre sur la plage. Il dispose d'une cuisine moderne, vaste jardin et vue sur Ensenada Honda port depuis le salon, véranda et terrasse sur le toit.

La maison comprend une chambre avec un lit queen, cuisine complète, salle de bains, salon et table de cuisine. Comfy spot in Culebra

Cozy spot in Culebra, good location for the beach. If you like to walk, its about a 20 minute walk to the beach. The apartment is great, has all you need & bonus is the rooftop area.

totally sufficient

place was spacious and clean. good kitchen if you plan to cook. i was initially worried about the aluminum slat windows but they ended up being totally fine - with the climate on culebra, maybe even preferable over glass. hosts were super friendly and accommodating.

Awesome island rental

We just stayed here last week and miss it very much. The main unit in this complex is amazing. There is a huge covered porch to eat out on and a roof top deck with a great view of the bay, but we loved it for star gazing. The kitchen has everything you could need and the bed was sooo comfortable! We were very relieved to see that island came through the storm pretty well. It’s a magical little place and we can’t wait to return and we’ll definitely rent here again!

Amazing stay at the Mango Fish Guesthouse!

We had a glorious stay for the past week at the Mango Fish Guesthouse and on the island of Culebra! This was our first time visiting, and we will absolutely be back. The property host and manager, Melissa, was very welcoming and provided us with everything we needed for our stay on the island. She was also super attentive to our needs. The main guest house was perfect for us - we spent every morning and evening on the front porch. Because of its location we didn't need to rent a jeep or golf cart - everything we did on the island was within walking distance for us - we snorkeled on half a dozen beaches. It was also invaluable having the local grocery store only three doors down. We look forward to our next stay with much anticipation! Thank you, Melissa!

There was no hot water. Just warm water for a week or two then the hot water heater went out and no hot water for the next 2 weeks. The AC was only in the bed room. No AC in main house.

We enjoyed our time in beautiful Culebra!

Clean, comfortable, cute home. Overhead fans in every room, and AC in the bedroom. We walked to town, which took us about 15 minutes or so. Grocery store down the road. No frills space. Very happy to be in beautiful Culebra!

Maintenance Required

Mangofish House could be a great place to stay with an investment into repairs and maintenance. The location is convenient to the airport and town. The interior living space was clean, however, interior and exterior maintenance was sadly lacking. Many of the louvred windows won't open fully, or at all, foliage is overgrown, dead foliage is strewn over patios, walkways, and stairs, beach chairs are literally falling apart; the list goes on. Check-in was a problem as instructions were emailed to us the day of our arrival, the assumption being that we had access to the internet; we didn't. This left us outside the unit for over an hour after a full day of travel. Mangofish House isn't living up to its potential.

Really nice kitchen and porch. We loved being able to cook and hang out after a day at the beach. The bed is nice too. No internet though. But that was okay with us.

A week in paradise

What an awesome island. The house was perfect for my wife and I. Plenty of space and very conveniently located. Hillary was a great resource and quick to respond.

A Lovely Experience!

Mary was amazing! She met us at her place at 9:30 pm when our first place didn’t work out. She was so accommodating and made our stay on Culebra for my niece’s wedding a wonderful experience!!! The home is very nice, one bedroom with air conditioning, which was perfect for my son. I slept in the front room on the futon, it was VERY comfortable! There is always a lovely breeze so I didn’t need AC. Kitchen had everything we needed and we were within walking distance to a little grocery store! We found the location ideal, not far from town or beaches, especially Flamenco Beach! I would highly recommend Mango Fish House for your stay on Culebra 😊 Thanks again, Mary, or all you did for us!

Great location

Great place for the three of us to stay. Close to downtown and Flamenco beach. The property is beautiful and the host was very welcoming and accommodating. We would certainly stay there again. Also a great value!

Central Location

Mangofish House is centrally located for exploring all of Culebra. A golf cart is all you need to drive to town and any of the beaches (we did Flamenco, Melones, Zoni, Playa Larga, Tamarindo, and Soldado). We stayed in the main house and enjoyed the use of the front porch and rooftop deck, nice view and nice breezes. The grocery store that is close by is great and we liked it better than Milka - it is very organized and items are marked so you know what you are paying before you check out.

Clean & comfortable

House was clean & comfortable, Jill (manager) was friendly and responsive by phone or text. There was a mix-up with scheduling which she ironed out for us. We had our 2 yr old with us so we didn't use the rooftop patio (it's open on 2 sides), but there is a front porch and a back patio, and the property is fenced, so as long as she didn't climb up the stairs to the roof she was safe. Our 10 yr old very much enjoyed playing board games with us during the younger one's nap time (several great board games were provided). Not needing to pack games, towels, and beach chairs was really nice. Jill even had a boogie board and a couple of pool noodles which the kids loved having at Flamenco beach. Kitchen also came with pretty much everything we needed. The property has a driveway and carport so we could park our rental vehicle for free, which was nice because we then didn't need to go up and down the steep streets to load our beach and snorkeling stuff into the car, plus the gate could remain closed after until the toddler was securely fastened in her car seat. We were glad that we didn't need to drive everywhere, however. We were half a block from a grocery store, and could easily walk to a handful of restaurants and a big playground (next to Coconuts restaurant). Also, airflow was fine with just the ceiling fans going. Temp was perfect. We never ran the window AC in the bedroom. There is also an outdoor shower and spray hose on the back patio so you can hop out of the vehicle, spray off, and minimize how much sand gets tracked into the house.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I wanted a place where I could escape the cold winters. Culebra is beautiful, the people are friendly, and the environment is not spoiled by overdevelopment. I vacationed in Hawaii growing up and Culebra reminded me a little bit of Maui, which I really liked. Why this property in particular? I thought it had a good central location, close to town and not too far away from any of the beaches. The beaches all offer different combinations of things (swimming, privacy, snorkeling, surfing), so it is nice to be relatively convenient to all of them.
