Notre villa très spacieuse de 4 chambres à coucher, 3 salles de bains en front de mer combine certaines des vues les plus spectaculaires sur le lagon et son récif avec un hébergement de luxe pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 8 personnes. Située à seulement quelques kilomètres au sud de l'aéroport, la villa se trouve dans une zone tranquille entre le célèbre restaurant Marina Pirata et la célèbre plage de Mangel Halto. Elle offre un accès direct à la chaleur de la mer des Caraïbes par un escalier situé en face de la maison.
Entourée d'un jardin tropical luxuriant, notre maison entièrement climatisée dispose d'un grand porche surplombant l'océan et le récif d'un bleu cristallin, avec un mobilier extérieur confortable comprenant une table à manger pour 8 personnes, une cuisine entièrement équipée avec coin repas, un grand salon ouvert zone avec télévision à écran plat et 4 chambres avec 3 salles de bains: La grande chambre principale a un lit King size juste à côté de la plus grande salle de bain, .A côté de cela, une chambre à deux lits avec 2 lits simples. A côté de cela, une chambre double avec lit Queen size et une salle de bains. La 4ème chambre est une petite chambre double avec sa propre entrée et sa propre salle de bain dans une partie séparée de la maison, derrière le grand porche. Notre buanderie avec lave-linge et sèche-linge est à votre disposition et vous pourrez bien sûr rester en contact avec le monde extérieur via le WiFi gratuit.
Meublé avec goût, le joyeux jalon est à louer toute l'année sur une base hebdomadaire. La propriété a une superficie construite de 400m2 sur un total de 1275m2. Les activités accessibles à pied incluent la natation, la plongée (instructeur de plongée qualifié à l'appel pour vous et votre parti), les excursions en kayak (organisées à quelques minutes de marche le long du rivage) et la plongée en apnée. Certains bons restaurants sont facilement accessibles, ainsi qu'un petit supermarché bien approvisionné. Pour une vie nocturne animée, Oranjestad est à seulement 10 minutes en voiture.

Fabulous house and location

We truly enjoyed this house and it’s location to one of the best snorkeling beaches. Plus our diving members were very close to dive companies. The house is exactly as listed and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Excellent beds and linens wonderful outdoor areas!

Perfect house in the perfect location.

We loved this comfortable house! It had everything we needed, including a great view of the ocean! We enjoyed heading out in the morning to explore the island, then coming home in the afternoon to our quiet little neighborhood and relaxing for the rest of the day. Highly recommend Marina Pirata for dinner, just down the street.

A little paradise in Aruba!

This was a nice quiet location with plenty of space for 7 adult family members. Lovely view with a wonderful out door eating and relaxing space. We enjoyed snorkeling in the ocean that was just across the road from the house. Thanks for sharing this little paradise in Aruba!

Merry times!

We had a great time at the Merry Milestone. The proximity to Mangel Halto Beach is amazing for snorkeling. The house is clean and the landscaping is pristine. Pos Chiquito is also centrally located, so all of our excursions were easy. We highly recommend this property and will be back!

Beautiful Location

Beautiful location! Seeing the ocean while drinking my morning coffee is easily the best way to start the day. The house has a ton of space and a big kitchen to accommodate a big group or family. We spent most our evenings playing games on the patio, which was one of my favorite spaces at the house.

Awesome stay!

This property was just amazing. I don’t think we could have found anything better. Every aspect of the property was accommodating and the view that we enjoyed everyday was spectacular. Rik responded to any questions we had very quickly and he was always willing to give us tips about the area. We def recommend this property and when coming back would stay again. :)

Perfect fit for us!

House is older but very clean, well maintained and well equipped. The house has a nice large outdoor living area which is where we spent most of our time. It is only steps to the ocean for awesome snorkeling! This house is a little off the beaten track which suited us well as it was private and quiet with incredible views of the sunset and the ocean. Highly recommend renting a vehicle to get you around the island.

The house was in the perfect location, away from the tourist crowds but easy to get everywhere

We have told everyone of our great "home" in Aruba. Cross the street to the water, great shore dives and snorkeling out front or close by, walking distance to a lovely beach, great restaurant right across the street, JADS dive boat (a great dive guide) a short drive, local fishermen very close, plenty of amenities at the house, perfect for our group ! Great breeze, hardly used the AC and loved dining on the terrace. We would definitely return. The house gave us a feeling for Aruba that we would have never gotten in a hotel or resort.

Fantastic vacation in perfect location!

We very much enjoyed our time in the "Merry Milestone". The spacious house and the big garden are just gorgeous. Everything inside and outside is as explained in the description of the house. However, we spent most of our time outside, enjoying the sun, the view and the easy access to the water. Also sunsets are a must at that location. The communication with the Barbara and Rik was very, very nice and helpful at any time and we highly recommend spending time at that lovely place. We will be back for sure. Thank you VERY MUCH!

Beautiful house, beautiful view, beautiful island.

Merry Milestone was everything we imagined. The house is in a great location with an easy swimming/snorkeling spot directly across the street. With the amazing view from the kitchen, even washing dishes was breathtaking. Open all the windows and the trade winds bring the island inside. The beach was just a couple of minutes walk away and well worth it. The house has several pair of water shoes, which were a blessing. Bring your own beach towels. The grocery stores dont supply shopping bags, but the house has several in the cabinets. Our week was one of the best we've ever had. Aruba is truly one happy island.

Snorkeling Paradise

Felt at home immediately upon arrival at the Merry Milestone. Our family of five loved our stay and had everything that we needed. House was clean, very comfortable and well equipped with everything that we needed for our week stay. Rik met us at the house and was very helpful with tips for things to do during our visit. The views are breathtaking and proximity to the ocean is unbeatable. The best snorkeling in Aruba is right outside the front door. Local excursion companies bring groups to enjoy the waters that are just steps away for Merry Milestone guests. The Marina Pirata is a great restaurant open for dinner daily and is just steps away. We spent 2 days touring Arikok Park caves, natural pools, dessert landscape and amazing views of the ocean and mountainside. We rented a 4x4 vehicle for the day to be able to reach the Conchi Natural Pools. Grocery stores and restaurants are very accessible and everyone is kind and helpful in Aruba. We traveled every inch of the island and think that the most beautiful view was right outside the Merry Milestone.

Excellent Vacation Home

My husband, sister and brother-in-law and I stayed at the Merry Milestone for 10 days. This was a perfect location for us. Rik met us upon arrival and gave us plenty of information about the house and island, and also restaurant recommendations. He was also available any time we had a question or needed something. We enjoyed having coffee every morning on the patio. The beds were very comfortable, the linens were really good quality. We had plenty of dishes and cookware. The appliances were good quality and in good working condition. We liked that we were in a neighborhood, although you could not see another house from the back yard. We were able to put the beach chairs in the trunk and take to the beach, beach towels were also available, and not the cheap flimsy kind either. The property is beautiful, just like the pictures! The only negative is we would like to have had 2 more comfortable/full size chairs on the patio, the beach chairs were too low to see the beautiful sea. Can't wait to go again, we hope to make this annual event. Barbara was very easy to work with prior to out stay.

Fine stay

We spent 10 nights here. The view is fantastic and the yard and patio are lovely spaces. The house is a very large place and has the feel of once being a very loved home that accommodated large gatherings. But, at the time we stayed, it had the air of a once-loved home that has become a bit worn. The furniture in general needs updating/cleaning. Little things around the house needed repair/attention, e.g., cracked tile. The pans probably should be replaced, but are usable. These are mainly cosmetic issues, but still detract. The owner has informed me that they are in the process of updating, so these comments may be old news by the time you read this. The dinner, glass and serving ware is abundant and good quality. The master bed was firm and comfortable. We like to stay away from busy tourist areas and this location fit that bill. Location has easy access to all the rest of the island. Rik is a very responsive manager and good to deal with. We travel extensively and always stay in rentals from VRBO and the like around the world, often in the ABC islands. I know others have stayed here and raved, but I can’t give it five stars. A little more TLC and it would be right up there.

Heerlijke verblijfplaats aan zee van alle gemakken voorzien

Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad met zes volwassenen en twee kinderen van 3 jr en 10 maanden. Het huis is gelegen aan zee met prachtig uitzicht en is werkelijk van alle gemakken voorzien. We werden prima opgevangen door de beheerder Rik die alles goed en duidelijk uitlegt. We hebben genoten met z’n allen en zeker de kinderen. Echt een aanrader

Sehr sehr schön

Ein sehr grosses, sehr komfortables Haus mit allen Dingen, die man für einen gelungenen Urlaub benötigt. Uns hat besonders der Meerblick mit allen türkis-blauen Farbfacetten und der schnelle Einstieg ins Meer gefallen. Sehr ruhige Lage fernab vom Massentourismus, aber dennoch sind ein paar schöne Restaurants fussläufig erreichbar. Für grössere Einkäufe und Ausflüge empfiehlt sich ein Auto. Eine klare Mietempfehlung unsererseits.

They Host Barbara is fantastic and the Property managers Rik and Karen went out of their way to accommodate us when our flight was delayed by hours. Couldn't imagine a better place for a low key family vacation. Will be back for our third visit very soon

Outstanding home and vacation in Aruba

First of all really want to thank Barbara in easing our concerns about scheduling our trip during these pandemic times, she was wonderful and reassuring! The home was just perfect for our family of 8, some tweens, teens and young adult children with mom and dad. Layout is great, the beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked with nice appliances, linens and towels plentiful. Location in our minds can't be beat. It was our first time in Aruba and we debated about staying up near the hotels but this was much better for our family. Really could drive anywhere within 20-25" max except maybe the periphery of the National Park. The best snorkeling we found was right across the road and at Mangel Halto just down the street! We brought our own snorkel gear, really a must if you like to snorkel as we could go whenever we wanted. Rik, the property manager, was excellent, went over the top on New Year's Day when the dryer wouldn't turn on, didn't expect anything to be done that day, but he was there within the hour for a quick fix. Really can't say enough about this property, the island and people of Aruba. Thanks Barbara and Rik!

Home in Aruba

We have utilized this home multiple it times. The property is kept in great shape. Barbara ensures that the house is maintained and upgraded for your comfort. The view of the spanish lagoon is wonderful, no better backdrop to Aruba. Area is quiet and close to beach. Access to the water will ensure your days are carefree and special. I really enjoyed morning snorkeling and afternoon dips to cool my heals. If you dont want to cook, within minutes of several restaurants. and there are places to supply your needs for cooking or refreshments. This place ensures you have more of what you need...quiet, access to real nature of Aruba and the piece of mind that comes with a well managed property. My guests and family love being here and will return.

Great Vacation Rental!

This was our second year spending a month at the Merry Milestone and we couldn't be happier with the location, accommodations, owner (who takes the opportunity every year to update and upgrade the property) and the local manager (excellent communications). We've already booked for 2021 - that's how much we love it.

Best place in the island if you want to relax.

This home is located in the perfect place to see and do everything on the island. The snorkling is awsome right out the front. Rik is a great guy, he took great care of us. Thank you Merry Milestone we will be back.

Girls' Trip for the Ladies

We have enjoyed the Merry Milestone: garden patio area for eating/drinking & morning tea/coffee & just 'chillin' was fabulous; waking to such magnificent view was amazing; & we loved the island. Rik was a great help. We followed his suggestions on restaurants & sites & grocery. Greatly appreciated! To just swim, could walk across the street and take steps down to landing. To have a nearby grand beach experience at Halto Beach (snorkelers heaven), 2 minutes down the street and we sat under huts bathing in the sun, enjoying the beautiful scenery and soaking in the cool blue/green water. The beach chairs and towels from the house were comfy & nice. Think we made use of all amenities at Merry Milestone. Dinner at Marina Pirata (walking distance on same street) was exquisite. This is in a great location. Our only sad issue: about the 3rd day we discovered freezer failure and contacted Rik. He gave us a short solution. However, the short solution for the freezer breakdown failed us. We could not have our night of Gelatissimo at the house; and we had to change our meal plans for our last couple of days. We awakened with two days of our trip left and found spoiled food in the refrigerator; had to toss into the garbage. So we headed back to grocery shop and packed the freezer and a cooler with ice to keep some coolness....could not let it totally destroy our fun. This was a super "Girls' Trip" for us....hope to do this again. Would definitely recommend staying at the Merry Milestone for an excellent experience of Aruba life.
