There is ongoing beach restoration. Adjacent to the south end of Oceanside is a temporary staging area. It is fenced off for safety.

Demolition of the historic Flagler Pier begins June 16, 2025 with scheduled completion by December 2026. Traffic may be congested in the center of Flagler Beach, but the condo is two miles north of the affected area.
