I am sorry that you had an issue with the power. There was a major storm that went through San Carlos with rain of 3-4" and most of the entire town was without power.

I did receive a message that the a/c in the upstairs bedroom was not working. I contacted the maintenance department and they came immediately and restarted. The next day I scheduled an outside HVAC company to come and inspect the unit just to ensure all was well.. I asked permission from the guest who agreed. The outside company advised that the unit was cooling and working properly. I did not hear anything else from the guest. After 4 days the guest checked out and started to complain that the upstairs bedroom A/c did not work. I would have gladly sent the company back out. The guest then said they saw a few roaches and there was missing batteries. all of this his after they had stayed 4 days and did not hear from them after their arrival and my sending an HVAC company. Things happen, but I am always available and give my phone and email to be contacted. I have great reviews and would do anything to make things enjoyable but was not given the opportunity, Once the guest contacted me after leaving I sent the HVAC company back and was told the HVAC was working fine but someone had removed the batteries from the remote from the time he was there when the guests arrived to his visit after the guests vacated the property. As far as seeing a roach, we had our unit fumigated a month prior and do ever year, However there are 4 units attached together and I expressed that it could have come from another unit if they fumigated, I was not trying to avoid responsibility. They occupied the unit with 10 people and she sent me an email after checking out saying she was going to have to give a bad review. I felt like it was someone looking for a refund as even though I responded back to her about her issuing a bad review, she never responded to me, just posted the review the next day.
