This spacious and serene space is great for a small family or for a couple wanting to get away. This unit also has an indoor sauna and a laundry room!
Location location location! Located one block from Ventura Blvd. and within walking distance of popular sushi restaurant Sugar Fish and many more. Ralphs and Starbucks are also a few blocks away. Pretty much everything is at your fingertips. Most importantly Universal Studios is less than 2 miles away, LAX is 25 miles away, Burbank Airport is less than 6 miles away, & Hollywood is roughly a 15-minute drive.


This home is in a condo complex. The entrance is through the back of the property with ample space for parking in the driveway right next to the unit.

Safe area and close to lots of things!

My daughter, her friend and I all stayed here and loved it! It’s safe and clean. Great restaurants nearby plus Trader Joe’s and sprouts for groceries. We would definitely stay here again.

Dirty and unsafe

As other reviewers have said, it is really hard to find this property, especially if you arrive after dark. The owner does not give detailed directions to the property, which is possible to do. The property itself is dirty, with noticeable water damage and what looks like mold in areas. The sofa bed is not a pull-out sofa bed but instead a sofa that folds back into more of a futon. I wouldn't say it is accurate that two people could sleep on it - we had to have one person sleep on the ground and luckily we had brought a travel mattress for that just in case. Worst of all, the front door didn't lock from the outside. Not only did we spend 30 minutes trying to lock it and contact the owner, which cut into our trip to Universal Studios, but it never locked and the owner didn't care. They said it didn't matter because the gate to the property closes and nobody has access, which isn't true. There were plenty of people walking through the alley that could have easily gotten into the gate and into the house. We felt completely unsafe.

Convenient Location

We only spent one night but it was NYE and there were plenty of food options within walking distance. The directions for accessing the property were helpful and crucial. A couple downsides were the floor looked like it hadn’t been swept well and none of the TV remotes had batteries (one didn’t work even with batteries). Not a huge thing but we wanted to watch the ball drop on NYE.

Short drive to Universal Studios

This was a great little rental that was a quick drive to Universal Studios (5 mins). It was a bit tight for my family of four, but it was perfect for our short stay. It was pretty clean but there were quite a few ants in the kitchen, which I know they have no control over. They seemed to be coming from a crack in the wall. Other than that, it was a great stay for the price.

The complete package!!

If I could give 10 stars I would!! This host is a super host. Communication was always there and seamless. They even allowed us to check in early as we had an early flight. Property itself was exactly as described and perfect for me and my girlfriend for our visit. It was very clean, check is was easy and this host even sent exact directions where to go, how to get to the property with pictures. The location of this property was very safe, clean, private and centrally located for all of where we had to go. Ralphs right down the road and CVS. Freeway was 3 minutes away. We thoroughly enjoyed Our stay and will rebook this property in the future! Thank you again for everything!

Very convenient to navigate with the city

Beautiful place to stay very convenient to find food and places like Universal city. We felt safe and it felt also like home. Out of the listed items we didn’t find the hot iron but that was ok.

Would definitely stay here again!

We had a good stay here. House was as pictured: brightly lit, lots of room, and looked pet friendly. We didn't use sauna or kitchen, but assume both worked. Did laundry, which was helpful, and sat out on the swing chairs one morning, which was pleasant. It was a little difficult to find the first time when tired and in the dark - but really easy after that. It's a decent walk to Universal - about 25 minutes with a big hill at the end - but a very quick drive. Less to the Metro stop and we made that walk a couple of times and were able to get to different parts of town. Owners were good at communication and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

What a beautiful location and stay

Our family had a trip for my son’s birthday to Universal Studios. The house was very close to the Amusement park. The house was very clean and perfect for the four of us. I highly recommend this place to my family and friends.

3 day getaway

Really nice house, plenty big enough, would have liked knowing the “yard” was being torn up and on a huge open hill and not able to be used for a pet like advertised, and also didn’t know it was a downstairs unit, but still a great spot.

Birthday Trip to Universal Studios

We had a fabulous stay. The property was very clean and modernized. We came from Sacramento to bring my 13 year old granddaughter and my daughter for their birthdays. Vivi was always very prompt in getting back to me whenever I needed. It was overall a fantastic visit we will be back.

The property itself was very nice and and the interior was clean and updated. The location was great for us as we were there for Universal studios, which was like 5 min away. Also walking distance to our favorite pizza place in Burbank, Reno’s. Overall satisfied with our stay. Recommend.

Major Disappointment

This was planned to be a stay cation. My gf & I selected this home because of the location, sauna, and lawn to be able to play catch with our little cavalier. Upon arrival we received instructions from the host. That was great communication to start things off. When we arrived it was difficult to find the home. For this specific posting you enter through the ally and when we arrived we learned this is actually a duplex where the 2nd floor enters through the Main Street. This would have been helpful to know in the post because the alley did not feel safe. It was also very loud when visitors above us arrived. We were quickly disappointed to learn that the lawn we were looking fwd to using did not exist. The whole back yard is under construction! A massive hill of dirt. In fact, the next morning construction workers woke us up. Luckily the host contacted them & they stopped working but this still meant we could not use the backyard. The workers returned the next AM & we let the host know again. She did not respond but they did leave after a few hours. The inside of the home was clean and neat. She had plenty of towels for us and we made sure to wash them to minimize clean up. The sauna was useless! It maxes out @90degrees which is not enough. I noticed a regulator & when I reached out to host she did not respond to help. We complained to the host and have not heard back. All the draws for staying here are not a reality. We want a refund.

Won’t stay again

The directions from the host were terrible. I drove around for a half-hour trying to find it. I tried getting help from the host and she stopped answering me. She is not on site like every other Vrbo I’ve stayed at.

Relaxing space

I loved the layout, sauna, and yard of this Vrbo. The host was very responsive and helpful with any questions I had. Location was 10/10..walkable to Ventura Blvd and in a quiet neighborhood. Would love to return!
