Before arrival and day of arrival we received replies from Thomas that were not helpful or very friendly. We kept him apprised of our train arrival time from Koblenz, in train station at Nuremberg I asked him if a restaurant would be open nearby to eat, or we would need to get food before arrival. Thomas replied “please come and take your key, I have to leave the house!” In a market we got a frozen pizza. Thomas had his neighbor greet us, she was wonderful, helpful, friendly, even gave us glass of wine our last night! When I baked the frozen pizza the baking pan was dirty, and there was very little toilet paper and nearly empty paper towel roll to last overnight until we could get to store. We knew the unit had stairs, but we found steps narrow, slippery so we used an outside elevator also. With bathroom upstairs and kitchen/ living room down stairs, this did pose a hassle, regret having booked this Verbo. If it wasn’t for his neighbor, who he had check us in, this Verbo would have been a real disaster. Never did meet or hear from host Thomas, except neighbor told us he said we needed to leave 30 minutes before actual check out time. Thomas was unwelcoming and told us we needed to leave early so cleaner could come! Would not stay here again.
