Enjoy the ultimate tranquility in this luxury wooded property nestled on the side of a mountain in James Creek PA . It has been newly remodeled in a modern rustic style. We have taken extra measures for cleanliness as my staff touches every surface. They have earn us over 200 combined five star reviews on our rentals. Sleep in the ultimate comfort on Serta hybrid mattresses with hypoallergenic and bed bug protectors. The house boasts a fully lit, 26 foot long main deck, side deck with a 5 person hot tub, and lower deck complete with a gas fire table seating. There are granite countertops throughout, elegant hardwood accents, knotty pine, all while adding a modern touch. If that's not enough, have a relaxing drink by the modern electric fireplace while watching internet TV. Wifi is provided at 200 mbps. The modern kitchen is well appointed with all items to make a gourmet meal with bar seating for 4; and a custom made, live edge maple dining room table for 4. The spiral staircase leads to a magnificent loft area, fully enclosed to keep those little ones safe. Provided are board games for kids and adults. Corn hole game can be played out on the deck! No need to pack linens, pillows, bedding, towels, or paper products. We provide those! Two bedroom, loft, two full baths. We are only 20 minutes from Blair County Airport. It is located just minutes to Shy Beaver Boat Launch, at Mile Marker 22. Sleeps 8.

Amazing Stay

My family and I had a great stay at the cabin for a nice weekend even tho it rained. My kids had a blast in the hot tub and just loved the loft. Wonderful plavw and the view was just stunting.

Cute and cozy mountain cabin

Tucked away up the side of a mountain overlooking foggy morning treelines. The hot tub was our favorite part, and the kitchen was lovely. It would be an awesome stay in late spring or early summer when we might have spent more time making use of the massive and beautiful deck.

Delightful Escape from the Cituy

The home has all the amenities indoor and out. The host had thought of everything and was wonderful to work with. We felt very well cared for. The place itself is newly renovated and very clean. The interiors are well planned and we all had more than enough room for our family of five. The hot tub was a highlight during our snowy stay. It was a perfect retreat from DC!

Great place!

Mike’s place is wonderful. It was very clean and well stocked. Everything was brand new. We had a few issues but Mike responded immediately and had the issues fixed very quickly. Would definitely recommend to others.

Above and beyond!!

Loved the home but loved the hospitality even more!! Had trouble with wifi connection and host immediately came to fix it. Host was also able to give good recommendations for things to do and where to go. Would rent again!!

Communication from the host was great. Arrived to a clean and welcoming place to stay. House was very well put together and all the amenities made the trip relaxing. Our kids already requested to go back.

Quiet mountain retreat

The cabin was exactly as pictured. The location was quiet and beautiful. I will definitely look at other properties owned by the host. Couldn’t recommend enough.

The perfect get away for adults or those with children of all ages

Beautifully appointed with every gadget from pronged marshmallow holders for smores to a large pizza pan and everything in between. The Henkel knives are better than the ones I have at home! Plenty of towels, extra pillows wonderful sheets. The mattresses are new and very comfortable. What really impressed me was how immaculately clean the house was kept. We had 4 adults plus our two grandsons age13 and 15. The bunk beds at the top of the stairs were very big and there was plenty of room for them in that area. We didn't need our hot spot and had 3 lap tops and multiple cell phones working with no issues. When I told Mike we wanted to eat as a family (6) at one table he quickly supplied two large folding tables for the deck where we ate most meals. No houses are on the lake unless you rent one of the resort bungalows that looked pretty dated. Mikes property is up fairly high with other beautiful private homes on the mountain. The spa adds a nice bonus to the beautiful evening surrounded by the woods. We would love to come back for a future vacation. There's lots of interesting activities available within a half hour drives. Thanks Mike for a wonderful vacation locations.

Weekend at the Lake

The pictures do not do this place justice! It is tucked in a quiet mountainside on a country gravel road. The sunsets were beautiful and the entire property was so peaceful. Our family of 4 visited for a long weekend of boating and exploring Raystown for the first time. We were overly impressed and will certainly stay again. Mike was so easy to communicate with and always responded within minutes.

Hideaway above the trees

Beautiful and well appointed, with complete kitchen, linens and towels. The property is about a mile from the main road and gives you an amazing view above the trees of the surrounding mountains. Hot tub was fantastic, and two level deck provided plenty of outdoor space. Shy Beaver boat launch is very close so we were able to kayak easily. Communications with property owner were exceptional, even when we were lost and on a private road (use Google Maps, not Waze!!) Thank you for allowing us to stay!
