Cozy guesthouse that sleeps up to 4 adults, nestled in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains. Enjoy fireside stories as you sit under the stars by night and explore hiking trails, fishing and waterfalls by day. We are 5 minutes from the Tallulah River, 10 minutes from Lake Burton and 15 minutes from downtown Clayton. Handicap accessible and backup generator.

Amazing stay !

The property was amazing , we love the cleanliness , the decor and the over all feel of the cabin . It was the perfect size for us . The host was amazing , she called me to help me with directions right away and mailed me a pair of sunglasses we left under the bed. We love the view and the doggy that used to come every morning to great us ! We are definitely coming back during summer !

Short but Sweet

Even though Hurricane Helene pushed us out early, our stay was perfect. This is a great getaway spot for those wanting to explore the town of Clayton. I would recommend staying here if you want to relax in peace and quiet

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The house and location were just beautiful. The owners, Tracy and Scott, were great and we very much appreciated their hospitality and communication. We definitely recommend!

Perfect stay!!

My husband and I booked here to stay with this being <10 minutes from the Talullah River campground where my teenagers camped … until the bottom fell out. They were glad to have a cabin!! Beautiful hiking and great fishing!

A Beautiful Retreat!

The cabin had a beautiful view of the mountains. The drive up was vey scenic. The cabin itself was spacious and immaculate. Although hosts were on property you wouldn’t know it because I never saw nor heard anyone. I highly recommend and would stay here again.

Top of the mountain retreat

We loved our stay at Tracy and Scott's mountain retreat! Everything was top notch. From the well stocked kitchen(coffee was delish!)and the spacious living room, also, the beautiful bathroom with a large glass shower to the comfy seating on the covered porch. Many beautiful sights conveniently located to this mountain getaway. We loved Dry Falls, Tallulah Gorge, Highlands, Helen and downtown Clayton. So many places to explore! We also enjoyed the "wet nose gang" of sweet pups that came to visit and spent some time relaxing with us! Looking forward to visiting in the fall!

Great getaway!

My family and I enjoyed our time staying at this property. The property was beautiful and well maintained. The owners have provided everything you could need on your stay, especially since town is not a quick drive away. My husband enjoyed the fire pit while my teenage sons enjoyed the PS3 (They said it was nostalgic). The surrounding area is beautiful and we enjoyed taking in everything the area had to offer.

40TH Anniversary

We loved staying at the Treehouse, they had everything you need, actually more than I expected. It was quiet, had a great view and was very comfortable. Great place to stay! The pull up the road to the cabin was a little hard but fun!! Thanks so much for the experience of "The Treehouse" We will stay again! The Crumley's Omega Ga.

This place is awesome..We absolutely loved this secluded little gem. Super clean, comfy, amazing views etc. Hopefully we can revisit soon! Note: there is a welcome committee of friendly dogs that like to say “hello” on the road that leads to the house.

Great cabin in the trees.

Love the cabin. It was the perfect distance to the river we were fishing with the family. My daughter loved the puppies that lived in the neighborhood. Host went above and beyond to make us fell at home. Will be back.

Perfect getaway

We had a great time. We loved the rural setting and the proximity of many different parks and places. The cabin was perfect for our family of three—a nice cozy cabin with enough space to be comfortable. You can see that the owners took the time to think about every detail. We enjoy sitting in front of the fire pit, looking up at the view of the amazing starry sky.

Paradise

Piece of paradise . Cabin was nice and clean and view was awesome . Hosts was awesome . Communication with them started before booking and very responsive to questions . You could tell they really care about their guests. And the view of the mountains from the cabin ! Everything you need is there . All you need to do is book their cabin NOW !

It was the view and attention to detail

My family and I have been staying in the North Georgia mountains for years, but this guesthouse is on the top of our list. The view was amazing and the house was immaculate. There was a lot of thought put into our stay. Honestly, the host thought of everything! The house was easy to reach but far enough away from other noises that we could hear the wind blowing in the tops of the trees. We will definitely return!

Peaceful respite!

My husband and I were looking for a place fairly close for a quick getaway. I thought this cabin looked charming. The pictures do not do it justice. The owner is next door, but you would never know it. It is so private. The owners thought of everything you would need for a stay. The cabin was so wonderfully clean (huge item on my list) and well equipped. Checking in and out was a breeze. There are dogs that live around the area…but they are friendly. We only saw them once. I wanted to add that because it is good to know if you see them. I couldn’t recommend this place more. We will definitely be going back when we need a get away. To the owners…phenomenal job!!!

My soul needed restoration and I found the perfect place. All the reviews were positive, but the real thing surpassed my expectations. With spectacular views, the soothing sounds of nature, and every amenity you could imagine, my three nights in paradise weren’t nearly enough. The cabin is beautifully decorated, yet extremely comfortable, and the front porch and outdoor area (with a fire pit!) were perfect for mornings and evenings. There was even cinnamon for my coffee! I’m very picky when it comes to housekeeping and the entire space was spotless. The owners reached out via text to make sure I knew they were available should the need arise. If you get the chance to go to this magical place (and you must!), please give their sweet dog a warm embrace from me. He sensed I was a little nervous about being alone, and provided reassurance when I needed a buddy.

Beautiful views from this cozy cabin

This cabin has everything you need for your stay. The views are beautiful and the cabin and outdoor area is so cute. It only takes about 15-20 minutes to get to town. We brought our own grill and grilled out every night, although there is a nice Weber grill available, we just didn't realize it. The neighbors dogs are so sweet and love to hang out at the cabin with you. Watch the meat on the grill though, Sully is sneaky, lol! Tracy has made it very comfortable and thought of just about everything you need. She is also very easy to communicate with. The road and driveway up to the cabin were a little intimidating the first time but after doing it a couple of times, it became more comfortable. I'm glad we got there when it was still light. Getting there in the dark the first time might be a little scary if you live in a flat area like we do. We were glad we grabbed some groceries on the way in at the Ingles so we didn't have to drive out later in the dark. It's a beautiful part of the country to explore and there are a lot of fun things to do from hiking to wineries to history, shopping, restaurants and distilleries. We would definitely come back to Clayton and stay at Tracy's cabin again. We enjoyed our long anniversary weekend and wished we had booked one more night! Thanks again!!

A Wonderful 3 day getaway

My wife and I wanted to go on a "babymoon" since our first child is due in February. I love the mountains; we had stayed in a place near Dahlonega for our honeymoon, but this time around I chose a place near Clayton. Glad I did. This was a wonderful little cabin for a couple. What struck me right off the bat was how much thought seemed to be put into making this place have a solid vibe. As soon as you walk in you're hit with a feeling of relaxation and organic homeiness. Lots of wood used in the construction. Beautiful. It's not a huge space but that was perfect for us; the last place we stayed in had more rooms than we needed and felt a little too big. Small is cozier. It also has additional beds in case you have kids and/or another couple with you. My wife and I were talking about how nice it'd be to come here in the future with our future children. The mountain scene you get from the fire pit is awesome. And of course the hosts thought of all the details, leaving lighter fluid, firestarter, firewood, leather glove, charcoal, a flashlight, etc. In the morning I made a fire and while I was hanging out there a bunch of neighboring dogs from other houses on the mountain came by! Really friendly, made for a nice moment with my wife. One thing I'd recommend to the owners is letting people know about the dogs down the road that will swarm your car while you're driving. When we first arrived I didn't know about them and I found myself sort of stuck in the road, inching closer bit by bit till the homeowner came out and told me to just drive and that they'll get out of the way. I was worried about hitting the guy's dogs. A preemptive warning would have been nice letting me know how to handle with those dogs, hah. The bathroom is quite nice, no complaints other than I wish there was a bathtub. In such a relaxing setting a bathtub would be awesome. But the shower is nice. The sink too. Good clean well water. Everything worked well. The couples bedroom was awesome. Super cozy. Love the treehouse feel of it. It's so quiet up here. So peaceful. My wife and I left super grateful, we thanked God for our time here. Lastly, the hosts were friendly and easy to communicate with. 5/5 definitely stay here!

Great trip

We really enjoyed staying at this cozy cabin. Everything was provided, which was awesome and very convenient. The place has a great mountain view. We enjoyed the herbal teas provided in the cold.

Breathtaking views amazing hosts

My husband and I have stayed at many vrbo property’s however this one officially made one of our favorites . The view is incredible. The home was perfect for our family of 4 and spacious . The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and provided us with top tear insight on things to do around the area . We highly highly recommend staying here

Cozy and Relaxing Stay

Beautiful property tucked away in the woods. We came for a weekend getaway to kayak, hike and relax. This property was so cozy and comfortable. The owners have thought of all the details that you might need for a stay. The location was not far from Clayton and all the state parks nearby. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. Of note, the rental was on the same property as the homeowners but it is so private that you would never know. We will definitely be back and bring the kids next time! Thanks for a great stay!
