This cute as a button home has an open layout that’s brightened by natural sunlight, and is styled with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, plus a daybed to accommodate extra guests! Plenty of room for everyone! Good experience overall with some room for improvement
The neighborhood is one of the quietest places I have ever stayed. The house is cute and comfortable. Most furniture and appliances are new, and it has most of the essential amenities needed during short and long stays. The Kitchen is well stocked. They give you the option to use melamine-made dishes or ceramic. Melamine isn't suitable for Microwave or Dishwasher, and ceramic is very heavy to handle. The refrigerator doesn't make ice, but an ice maker is on the kitchen counter (no instructions to use it were given). The water pressure was excellent. Images of the house are very accurate except for the backyard's. In reality the backyard is not as inviting as portrayed on the images. A few unfavorable issues I found in the house: When I arrived, debris were on the outdoor table and chairs, and the backyard was overgrown. I noted a bad smell in the house which remained for most of my stay. I don't think that's inevitable, given it is an old house. I also stayed in a house built on 1930, and I didn't endure the same type of smell. So, the smell may have to do more with humidity. The bed covers and a chair in one of the bedrooms were yellow stained, and after noting that the bed linens seemed to be not as fresh, to my horror, I found a hair on one of the pillows. AMI offered to come the next day with fresh linens, but I didn't find it good enough since I had to sleep on them, at least for the first night. Fortunately, I always carry a sheets set ;-). The dish drying mat was also dirty. Additionally, because none of the area/door rugs in the house had a non-slip pad under them, I removed them during my stay to avoid any accidental falls. Note that AMI or the landscape contractor may come to the property without notifying guests, which I found to be a lack of courtesy. Also, the washer and dryer are in the backyard, which made it uncomfortable to do laundry. I was told that the washer and dryer were for guest use only. However, I found linens on the dryer when I first arrived, and despite having requested their removal, the linens remained in the dryer. The second week after my arrival, I was shocked when I noted that the linens had been replaced by sheets/towels of different color. Someone had used the appliances while I was out during my stay and left the newly washed linens in the machine. During the second week of my stay they finally removed the linens.

Before checking out - I was asked multiple times to give a 5-Star review -"to stay competitive". Slightly annoyed that is expected - regardless of the reality. Instead, I'll give honest feedback that hopefully benefits future renters. This is an old house in a sketchy neighborhood. It's been remodeled - somewhat. The guest shower leaks, the couch is multi-stained (gross), bedroom carpets badly worn, pet hair too many places - including the mattress covers (when we washed bedding). There's not a pinch of salt or other spice, cooking oil, condiment, or kitchen roll or storage bag, dish soap, or brush to hand wash dishes, The countertop ice maker is small, inefficient, and noisy - just purchased bagged ice. No cleaning products, 1 cheap paper towel roll, and limited trash bags ( 2 week rental). Worst provisioned place I ever rented. I left paper towels, TP, bagged ice, bottled water, coffee, spray cleaner, and laundry detergent - hopefully still there for the next renter (but don't count on it). Thought I might have found a gem for a fair price - but you get what you pay for. Not Sol Cool.

Great getaway!
Wonderful little vacation home!!! Close to restaurants and beaches. The place was very cute and welcoming with everything most families would need. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again!

Amazing Overall Experience, Highly Recommend!!
From the initial picture on VRBO that caught my eye to the pleasant departure text I received from AMI Locals and everything in between, was great! Sol Cool is centrally located in the heart of Bradenton, just over 5 miles to the gulf beaches and a stones throw from downtown, which is extremely convenient for getting the best of both worlds! The home looks very inviting from the outside, and has a contemporary and classy feel inside. There was 6 of us that vacationed there, including adults and children, and we had more than enough seating throughout the house. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes, pots and pans, utinsils, etc. (Im a bed snob!) but these were the MOST comfortable beds Ive ever slept in! I love that there is super soft comfy carpet in the bedrooms too. The backyard area is much bigger than I expected, with more than enough room for us all to hang out, play yard games, grill.. and its fenced in so we didnt have to worry about the younger ones escaping :-) I'm not going to lie... one of my favorite things was the rolling bar cart. Once the kids were in bed, it made it easy for us to roll it on in to the living room, hang out by the fireplace (with flameless candles) and enjoy some adult beverages without having to get up and down all night long. If you're looking for a super cute, spacious, and "homey" place to stay in the area, look no further! You will love it here, and the complete experience with the property management company was outstanding as well.
