We are very excited to introduce "Casa de la Luz" - a beautiful villa overlooking the Banderas Bay and the mountains in the back, perfectly situated only three blocks up from the beach and the famous beach boardwalk "The Malecón" in El Centro, Puerto Vallarta.
It's next door to "Villa de los 2 Rios", vrbo listing #1079930 and can be combined for a 7 bedroom villa for larger family or friend gatherings.
Its magnificent location on the Banderas Bay on the Mexican Riviera makes it a true jewel and a dream destination!
This is a top location offering the best of everything within walking distance that Puerto Vallarta has to offer such as fine dining, galleries, shopping, tours and other activities as well as of course the beaches and cozy beachfront restaurants and bars.
"Casa de la Luz" is decorated in the traditional Hacienda style but with all the modern amenities.
The roof terrace with its breath taking views features a BBQ and dining table on one side for nice dinners and a dipping pool overlooking the vast Banderas Bay and the mountains behind.
The villa features a well equipped kitchen on the 3rd floor for the aspiring chef on relaxing days spent at the villa with a gorgeous ocean view and also a smaller kitchen on the bottom floor making the Queen bedroom into a private studio. There's a dining table in the kitchen but also another dining table on the roof terrace for unforgettable breakfasts or sunset dinners.
It consists of 3 bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms. Two bedrooms have King size beds, one a Queen bed.
The floor plan with the stairs in the middle giving a lot of light with a roof in clear plexiglass makes this villa very open and airy. A beautiful hanging Mexican glass lamp is the centre piece over the fountain below making it a very calming and relaxing space.
Due to the stairs it is not handicap friendly or for guests with problems with stairs.
Marvel at the fantastic ocean views overlooking all of Banderas Bay as far as the eye can see, with the Marieta Islands in the center and make yourself feel at home in this perfectly located Puerto Vallarta villa.
Your experience and happiness are our top priority and during this usual time with Covid-19, that also means your health and keeping safe too. While we have always had high standards for cleaning, we have introduced some new measures within our rentals in accordance with guidelines set out by health authorities and vrbo to help ensure everyone can stay safe: This includes providing hand sanitisers and antibacterial soaps at the villa and providing our cleaning staff with extra PPE and cleaning products. Moreover, the cleaning staff have been trained to pay extra care to thoroughly disinfect door handles, light switches, utensils, faucets and television remotes and as always, we thoroughly wash all linen between guests.
First-time travellers come for the sun, sea and fun, but Puerto Vallarta's many wonderful restaurants make this a return food destination as well. Enjoy an exquisite high-end meal overlooking the bay from a cliff-top aerie, or bury your toes in the sand under a palapa and order some fresh-caught fish and hot-off-the-griddle tortillas.
Dining in Puerto Vallarta is very relaxed and dress code is nearly nonexistent - everything goes!
The Malecón is Puerto Vallarta's beautiful boardwalk and covers nearly two miles along the beach. Surrounded by different bars, nightclubs and restaurants the Malecón is lined by large bronze sculptures from many talented local artists.
Connoisseurs of fine dining are in paradise each November, during Puerto Vallarta's annual Gourmet Dining Festival, and in May every year we have the Restaurant Week(s), at the end of the month.
Some very nearby restaurants include Puro Peru, Pipi's, Si Señor, Café de Artistes, Barcelona Tapas, Trio, La Cigale, El Barracuda beach restaurant and numerous other restaurants lining The Malecón and nearby streets.
Just across the river Rio Cuale to the south lays the Southside with all it's cozy restaurants as La Palapa, Joe Jack's Fish Shack, Margarita Grill, Fajita Republic and so many more in addition to everything from wonderful little Mexican family-owned restaurants to great taco stands.
The beautiful Banderas Bay, nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Madre mountain range, is the second largest bay in the Western Hemisphere. Its climate is sub-tropical and features many dense forests, rivers and waterfalls. With an average temperature of 27°C (80°F), it is dry in winter and humid with some afternoon showers in the summer. The rain usually falls in the late afternoons with clear blue skies in the day, making it a year round holiday spot.
Puerto Vallarta's incredible natural beauty combined with the small town atmosphere and the warmth and friendliness of the people makes Puerto Vallarta a very special place.
The old and the new are blended in Puerto Vallarta, and offers all from simple pleasures to sophisticated charms. Here one can find anything from Taco stands to exclusive restaurants, quaint art galleries, air conditioned shopping centres with movie theatres, café's, beach vendors selling Mexican handicrafts, traditional open air markets, walking Mariachi bands on the beach and an incredible variety of activities such as whale watching, boat dinner cruises, Botanical garden, swimming with dolphins, zip lines, tours to near villages, fishing, snorkelling and an array of sight-seeing tours.
