The best way to spend a vacation and get away from the crowds is to get on your own private sailboat in the Bahamas! We operate out of the Berry islands located 50 miles north of Nassau.
Your charter includes a professional Captain/Cook that will show you the Bahamas not only in comfort and style but will get you off the beaten path and show you some amazing islands. Included in the price is your professional Captain, Breakfast, Lunch and dinner as well as fuel for the yacht and dinghy and all the toys and amenities on the boat. Drinks (both alcoholic and non alcoholic) and snacks are not included in the price. You can bring snacks and drinks with you or purchase on the island when you arrive.

The 3 rooms are spacious enough for 2 guests in each room and each room has their own private bathroom & shower. The salon or living room is spacious and connected to the galley so everyone can be involved when dinner is being cooked. The outdoor cockpit or back patio is very spacious and can be covered or uncovered. The bow of the boat has 2 large trampolines and is wonderful to sit up there with the ocean below you as we are sailing. You have usage of snorkeling equipment, floating chairs and lounges, beach umbrellas, deep drop fishing equipment and trolling rods for fishing, 2 stand up paddle boards, movie projector for outdoor movies at night, popcorn maker, ice cream maker, a 12ft dinghy for exploring the islands etc..to much to list!

The amount charged by VRBO is for accommodation only inside the marina. There is an additional charter fee of $1200 per day for up to 4 guests and an additional $100 per person per day for a 5th and 6th guest.
The charter fee is in addition to the VRBO price. There is a minimum of 3 days

Learn how to own your own boat. The Captain will show you all the ins and outs of owning your own boat for anyone interested
Internet hotspot available for all guests so we are connected wherever we go!
Deep sea fishing (2 deep drop electric fishing poles for bottom fishing in 1000ft + water and 4 trolling rods)

Spearfishing for lobsters and fish then cooking our catch on the boat or the beach (Lobsters in season only)
Relaxing on your own private sandbar with an umbrella or beach shade
Drift snorkel up to 3 knots through the waterways between the islands

Explore the blue hole on Hoffman's cay and have lunch at Flo’s conch bar
Explore all the little islands and secret anchorages only your captain knows about
Search for fresh conch and your captain will make you some fresh conch salad and conch fritters

Wonderful Time in the Berry Islands!

Thank you to Jeremy for a wonderful few days on your catamaran. We enjoyed sailing, fishing, exploring and the wonderful meals provided. Our favorite part was the beach picnic in one of the most beautiful places we have seen in the Bahamas. Thank you!

We had so much fun. The outdoor movie with popcorn and baking chocolate chip cookies for the kids really show how much Jeremy went out of his way to make our trip special.

We stayed with Jeremy for 5 nights and did a charter around the Berry Islands. It was awesome! Captain Jeremy was amazing. So capable, chill, fun, and what a cook! He was so accommodating and easy to be around. Truly a surprise all the way around. Great way to spend some time on the water and see the beautiful Bahamas. Highly recommend. We've been traveling the Bahamas for 20+ years. Cheers

Bucket list vacation checked off!

Have always wanted to sail the Caribbean on a private yacht so this has been on my bucket list for years! I was not disappointed. Jeremys level of service was exceptional! And the food was above 5 stars! We looked forward to every meal. So many great experiences fishing snorkeling and feeding the sharks. Can’t wait to go again!

Blown away!

My wife and 19 year old son stayed with Captain Jeremy for a 3-day charter. It did not disappoint in any way! Jeremy has an incredibly diverse background that makes him uniquely (over?)qualified person to entrust with your time in the Berry Islands. His cooking is top notch, his sailing skills are phenomenal, his knowledge of the islands is expansive. He knows ALL of the spots. The boat was a great also. Don’t hesitate to book. 5-stars!

Relax and Adventure

My wife and I booked our stay/charter and brought along three teenagers, 16, 18 and 18 and had the perfect amount of relaxation and adventure for everyone. We were looking for a real "get away from it all" and that is what we got - well worth the extra flight from Nassau to Great Harbor. Without a doubt the biggest reason for such an amazing trip was the combination of unbelievable natural beauty and being in the hands of Jeremy, our trusted guide/captain/master chef. His local knowledge of the area was amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better guide whether fishing, snorkeling, paddling and eating. And some great playlists as well!

Adventure and beauty abounds

The Host: Captain Jeremy has a real gift of hospitality and has been using this gift for several decades. He genuinely loves to make your trip special and memorable. He’s a fantastic cook and even free dives in the ocean to catch dinner! There is nothing he hasn’t thought about when it comes to making your trip fun, adventurous, relaxing and easy. The Location: Electric blue waters, endless sunshine, beautiful sunsets, a blanket of stars at night, island breezes, etc. Activities: Endless snorkeling, fishing by deep drop and trolling. Exploring the hidden Blue Hole. Swimming with dolphins. Listening to music. Watching a movie on the boat outside at night. The Boat: We loved hanging out and taking naps in between activities. There is ample space to chill both in the shade or soaking up the rays. The boat slept our family of 6 comfortably.

Amazing trip discovering the Berry Islands at our leisure!!

We booked a 5 day family trip with “Captain J” and had a blast!! We have a 7 year old and a 2 year old… and they instantly loved him! We were nervous about having a 2 year old on the boat, but it was absolutely the best trip! Fishing (catching and eating fresh!), snorkeling, conch hunting (and eating!) swimming with the sharks, beach time, paddle boarding, being cooked delicious food, cliff jumping, and everything about being on a boat made our vacation EPIC. Jeremy let our daughter help with the sails and spent a lot of his time answering questions and being way more than just the captain and the cook! I HIGHLY recommend this trip for any family- it’s an adventure we will never forget, and are so thankful for the attention to our kids and Captain J always bringing the fun!!

Awesome Sail Charter

Just returned from 7 days of spectacular sailing the Berry Islands with Captain Jeremy at the helm and in the kitchen. Our two couples aged in 70’s were treated by Jeremy to a perfect expedition among several idyllic cays sailing out of Great Harbour Cay. We caught snapper, dove for conch, petted nurse sharks, were arms length away from sea turtles, sting and manta rays, and baby lemon sharks. Even jumped into Hoffman’s Blue Hole and watched movies at night. Jeremy served up fresh fish on the BBQ, fish and conch ceviche, gourmet shishkabobs, crepes, omelets, and other food delights too numerous to list. Jeremy was a super host and even taught us a dice game. All in all, kudos for a great experience, and thanks Jeremy.

Beyond expectations!

Captain Jeremy was amazing and his boat, Exta-Sea, was as advertised if not better!! The first thing that struck us was the friendliness and local knowledge that he shared. As we drove around town to get provisions, drinks, snacks, half the town went out of their way to stop and tell him "hello." Obviously a very respected, friendly guy with lots of local connections and knowledge. On the boat, he catered to our 9, 14 and 17 year old and helped us catch fish, lobster, snorkel, see sharks, turtles, etc. It was amazing and our family was blown away with the experience! He even played cards with our family, taught us a new dice game, and baked cookies for the kids on our last night! :) My daughter commented, 'He has lived a full life!' and I believe she is spot on. His knowledge and experience helps him provide a top notch experience on his boat! Amazing!!

Sailing the Berry Islands on Exta-Sea

Our week long sailing adventure aboard Exta-Sea with Captain Jeremy was an absolutely amazing and unforgettable experience! Our favourite family vacation by far! My husband and I travelled with our 12 year old adventure seeking twins. Jeremy kept us all entertained with many amazing activities such as sailing, deep drop fishing, trolling, snorkelling, shell searching on the sand bars while watching baby lemon sharks, swimming, exploring beaches, hiking, cracking coconuts, paddle boarding, jumping into The Blue Hole and the list goes on. Calling in and feeding nurse sharks off the back of the boat was a really big hit only topped by swimming with turtles and having dolphins swim with the boat. Wow! Jeremy cooked unforgettable meals for us daily. Lobster Thai Curry from the freshly cracked coconuts, grilled lobster, grilled fish, fresh salsa, ceviche and sushi to name a few! He even baked cookies with the kids. Sunrise and sunsets were beautiful but most of all we loved the solitude, peacefulness and privacy. Jeremy is an extremely professional captain with safety first and foremost. We were extremely comfortable in the open ocean. His sailing vessel, Exta-Sea was spacious and comfortable with lots of amenities for making our vacation perfect. Nothing was an effort for Jeremy, he ensured our trip would be special and memorable. We are proud to now call him a friend. He is truly a remarkable and kind human being. We are looking very forward to a return trip to the Berry Islands with Jeremy aboard Exta-Sea!

This review is going to sound too good to be true, as if I was making the first review for a friend. I promise that’s not the case, but I can honestly say that Captain Jeramy is now a good Friend. I booked a 3 day charter by myself on a 4 bedroom 47ft fully equipped cat. With low expectations that turned into a week of paradise. I’ve been looking to buy a sail boat since returning home. My goal was only to be on the water, fish, relax, learn to sail after being locked down for 2 years. It turned out I was with the most experienced captain in the Berry Islands. Let Jeremy customize your ultimate Bahamas's vacation. You won’t be disappointed. It was better than I expected. Jeremy is a great cook and will teach you a lot. I even made a few new friends.. shout out to Adventuremandan that may have saved my life...Alisha, and the owner of Soul Fly fishing resort from Boston...Jeramy will give you his name if you want a fly fishing experience. I’ll be back for sure!!!
