Quaint but Dirty

Unfortunately the sheets and bath towels were visibly soiled (not stained, actually dirty), there were women’s hairs in the shower and on the wash cloth. I asked the owner for a refund via text; didn’t get response for several hours so also tried calling and got thrown to voicemail multiple times. When they finally responded via text, they said they would let the housekeeper know but there weren’t any changes to the cleanliness during our stay. Owner also didn’t respond to my request for a full refund so we could stay somewhere else.

Think you should know if things are being taken care of. When we walked thru the door, we did'nt know if people were still there. Nothing had been cleaned, for awhile.Things were not ready for our stay. I did appreciate that when i told the property mgr, she had someone come.

Great location- ok place

This place was the perfect location and the added boat slip was nice! However it was pretty dirty, there were no extra blankets, and absolutely zero toiletries or anything if you forgot something. Also the electrical in the bedroom has some sort of short which really doesn’t seem super safe, but for the price we paid, it was a fine place to sleep.

Memorial Day weekend

Unit was overall filthy. Floors were sticky and dirty . Stains on mattress of Murphy bed and all over bar stools. When you walked in the door, there was a very foul odor. It took a day to get rid of smell with bedroom window open with glass slider open. There was no screen on sliding glass door! You are right on the lake and can’t keep door open because of letting flies and mosquitos in. Mirror falling off wall and chest of drawers were all beat up. I have rented several units in Weston point and was disappointed overall. The unit is so beat up and needs repairs. Nothing listed in unit as far as what is/was in the condo. Coffee pot but no filters for example. The only positive renting the unit was Murphy bed that saved a lot of room and king size bed in bedroom.

The view was absolutely generous nice condo. Our experience would of been awesome except for the tv's did not work, no electricity in bathroom, the ceiling fan and light did not work. You need to have someone look into the electricity there is a short somewhere. It could cause a fire. It would come on and go off did not work most 99% of the time. This was supposed been our honeymoon. And the Host you can't get a hold of. Bill and Marilyn Hert

Quick fishing trip

Condo was great. People were super nice and friendly. Caught a lot of fish from the docks. A little mixup on the dates but the owner was really nice and understanding. Would recommend to anyone looking to rent a place at the lake.

Not what I was hoping for.

When we arrived the condo didnt smell that well. It was on the durty side, cob webs. We checked everything to make sure it worked. First we noticed the light and celiling fan wouldn't come on. Sent a message about it necer heard anything. We also noticed the lights in the bathroom didn't work. I took a partial dark shower and then all of a sudden the lights came back on. Over all had a nice time.

Nice place hist was nice neighborhood was nice quiet peaceful I would do it again the cleaning wasn't the owners fault so I can't hold tht against her so over all it was cool it served its purpose

What a wonderful view

The condo we stayed at for our honeymoon was a great place! We had a wonderful view of the lake from the deck and the area was very peaceful. Just what we needed for the weekend to spend together!

Really enjoyed our stay. Only thing that would have made a difference was, lots of dust and previous renters objects underneath the bed. I had.lost my earing and looked underneath the bed for it. Everything else there was perfect. Thanks for a great stay.

Great get away

The condo was perfect size, location was wonderful, could have set on the deck all day, but had to go see what else the area had to offer. Lake at night from the deck was beautiful!!

Beautiful Weston Pointe Condo

We truly enjoyed our stay at Weston Pointe. The owner was very good with getting back to us with any questions we had concerning the condo. The place was perfect for the two of us and with a provided boat slip it was the cat's meow. I fished until after lunch then cleaned up and we played tourist for the late afternoons and evenings. Could not have had a better time. Met some nice people in the other condos and had many conversations about the fishing and the area. Condo was clean and very quaint and had everything we needed for our trip, even a brand new grill which we used extensively. We will go back again next year. Thank You Kara

Has potential

These condos are older, so we expected some normal wear and tear. What we didn’t expect was the dust and grime. The basics (toilet, sinks, floors) were clean… but all the vents had a thick layer of dust (that blows when the air kicks on), there was dust dripping from the living room lamp, all the baseboards, and there were several cobwebs filled with dead insects in the living room and on the window ledge above the bed. Two of three lower kitchen cabinets had something brown dripped down the inside of the doors and on the shelves. I privately messaged the owner who seemed indifferent and said she was satisfied with whoever is doing the cleaning. ?? Finally, the couch looks like it came from a Fraternity house and was the most uncomfortable couch I’ve ever sat on. Some Swiffer dusters, fresh paint and an owner who acted like she cared would go a long way to making this a cute place. I found her response to me kind of astounding The positives — good location and beautiful view… but there are a ton of other places at the lake that offer these as well.
