Good location but hosts could be more flexible and generous
Hosts were unwilling to modify our reservation at all, so be 100% sure of your plans before booking (we paid for an extra night we didn't use). Walking distance to Old City and to Machane Yehudah so very convenient. Apartment was clean but photos make it look nicer than it is. Laundry powder included but not shampoo. Shower great but drainage inadequate. Constant noise of kids in the building but no street noise. Double bed was set up as two singles.
We could not have asked for a better location! The view from our balcony was breathtaking. Took beautiful pictures of sunrise. We were a few minutes from the Old City, Mamila mall, Mahane Yehuda market. & restaurants. Ann was available & responsive to our needs. We were 2 adults & 3 children & were able to stay very comfortably. We had a wonderful week!
Easy Location to get to the Old City
The apartment was just a block & a half from the New Gate and 2 and a half from the Jaffa Gate. The paid parking is just across the street and easy to get to. Neighborhood store is just a couple of blocks with all the necessities.
Called Ann on arrival and she walked me thru finding the apartment and location of local groceries. Great location.
Excellent location, responsive owners
The previous reviews were exactly right — the location of this apartment is impossible to beat. We were in easy walking distance of most of the places that we wanted to see. The farthest we walked to was the Israel Museum (2 miles), and that was only because we wanted to enjoy the weather. We came back by public transit, and it was a very easy trip. It was an easy walk to the Mamilla mall, the Old City, the groceries and restaurants on Jaffa Street, and the Mahane Yehuda market. The accommodations were very comfortable, and there was plenty of room for the 3 of us. We had a bit of trouble with the water heater, but once we actually paid attention to the clearly-written directions, all was wonderful. Ann & Shimon provided all of the basics that we needed (laundry detergent, etc.), and plenty of storage room for our stuff. Whenever we are able to return to Jerusalem, this apartment will be our first choice.
Wonderful and TOP location
The apartment is located steps from the old city f Jerusalem which afforded me the opportunity to visit it daily.
We travelled with our 4 children and had plenty of space.
The washer/dryer was a terrific benefit when travelling with kids.
The owner responds to emails and questions pretty quickly and is quite detailed and organized.
The neighbors are quiet and seemed to keep a distance.
Another beautiful feature is the balcony which faces the old city- you can watch the sun rise and set over the temple mount.
Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable experiance.
Perfect apartment, comfortable & close to old town!
Marvelous flat, perfect situated to “Old Town” and other very interesting Jerusalem quaters. We recommend it very much. Great view from the balcony to Mount of Olives and Old Town (AlAksa)
Notre appartement est situé dans un endroit parfait pour un visiteur à Jérusalem. Il est à distance de marche de la Vieille Ville de Jérusalem, où il ya des sites sacrés pour les juifs et les chrétiens, respectivement. Il est également à 5 minutes à pied du centre-ville ou centre ville quartier où il ya beaucoup de magasins pour faire du shopping dans les grands et les endroits où manger. Vous pouvez trouver rapidement israélienne nourriture comme falafel et shawarma ou élégante salle à manger dans un restaurant chic. Il est également à seulement deux pâtés de maisons de la Promenade Mamilla extérieure qui a une foule de magasins, restaurants et cafés.
Le nouveau tramway arrête seulement un pâté de notre bâtiment de sorte que vous pouvez monter et monter autour de la ville voir tous les sites. Il ya aussi de nombreuses lignes de bus desservant près de l'appartement de sorte qu'il est facile d'obtenir partout où vous devez aller sur le transport public.
Si vous louez une voiture, il ya un parking en plein air qui est situé à un pâté de maisons de l'immeuble et ils sont raisonnables et donner les taux hebdomadaires et quotidiens.
