Appartements Body of God

My family of four stayed here two nights. The apartment is ideally located just a few blocks down the hill from the famed university. It’s also close to the Pingo Doce for groceries, and just up the hill from the main square with all the shops and restaurants. The house has high ceilings throughout and is rather old with what could be original/antique furnishings in the bedrooms. The kitchen has the essentials (dishes, pots and pans, etc.) and a large American style refrigerator. I wish there were salt and pepper and some olive oil for guests to use. Our favorite part of the apartment (aside from the location) was the fabulous patio overlooking the city. We ate dinner and played board games under sunny skies while overlooking the town.

Very smooth arrival in Coimbra. The property is close to the University, historical sites, and a wonderful selection of restaurants. Would definitely book again

This is a historic apartment building which is quite interesting. Having a large balcony is so unusual in this area. João and his father Pedro were fantastic! Extremely responsive and gracious. Initially it looks like it will be difficult to get to and from. But it is easy to negotiate. We recommend this apartment

We are really appreciative of all the help that Joao and his family provided to us while we stayed at their beautiful property. Coimbra is a lovely town.

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment- very nice! Clean and well appointed- lovely rooms and views. Joao was very responsive and was there to check us in. Absolutely can’t beat the terrace! Everything very close and good restaurants near by. I would highly recommend this property!
