The ground floor is an open plan consisting of a sitting area with a Samsung Smart TV and a couch that opens to a full sized true bed with Dunlopillow Mattress and actual wooden slats, a dining area with seating for four and a very well equipped open kitchen with gas range [foodies welcome] with a small seating area at the counter. A heated separate shower room and WC are also on the ground floor. A pellet burner heater is in place with two free bags of pellets for the colder months included. The entire second floor is a spacious sleeping area with a full sized bed as well as a single bed that also serves as a couch. There is a small office space and a large storage area if needed. The home was fully renovated August 2021 including new pellet burner inside fireplace, all bedding is brand new, all sheets are hotel quality Egyptian cotton, towels are hotel size 100% cotton. The kitchen equipment is high quality, the knives are razor sharp [dull knives are a pet peeve of ours]! Table cutlery and barware is top shelf restaurant-quality. There are flutes, white wine, red wine in crystal, also highball and cocktail glasses etc. A Krups Nespreso machine as well as a French press and kettle are provided. The village is an ideal location as it is only five minutes to the N145 Autoroute, eight minutes to Gouzon with a full sized CarreFour supermarket. Only 14 minutes to Boussac with it’s chateau, several restaurants and one of the best weekly markets in central France [foodie alert!] 20 minutes to Montlucon with all the major stores and a simply charming pedestrian-only medieval center that is full of excellent restaurants. The house faces a 15th century church and is literally only 100 meters to the village bakery and traiteur. It is simply impossible to list the historic sites, natural activities that are only minutes away. We even have a quite nice 18 hole golf course five minutes away. We have strived to make this your home away from home.
