There are so many walks, nature reservoirs and fishing opportunities around us, you can do as much or as little as you'd like.
Property Highlights:
Bedrooms: The Wagtails features four spacious bedrooms. Three of which are double beds and the fourth is a king size bed. The standout has to be our mezzanine floor room, whereby guests can head up onto the additional floor and look out from the window, taking in the great views - it's a decent spot for nature/ birdwatching! When you've seen enough, head on back down and take yourself bed.
Bathrooms: The bathroom has a modern bathtub, with a shower above. There is a WC and separately there is wash basin and a further WC.
Living Area: The lounge is large and offers ample space for all 8 guests. It is a great space for unwinding in and there is a dining table to enjoy a meal around or socialise at.
Kitchen: The kitchen has everything you need for a short or long term stay at The Wagtails.
**We do have the property next door also that can accommodate a further 6 guests. If you would like to book both properties out for an event, holiday, celebration etc, then please do get in touch!**

The coastal walks around Wallasea Island provide stunning views of the Essex coastline, estuaries, and the island’s unique wetland habitats. The trails are generally easy to moderate, suitable for walkers of all levels. We will provide some guidance on walks for different abilities.
