Villa Nepeta - Quatre Chambres Villa, Couchages 11
A sea-view villa with an impressive terrace and bold interior design, four bedroom Villa Nepeta lies just a five minute drive from Gennadi Beach. Featuring a large outdoor pool, this villa is conveniently located for visits to Lindos, around twenty-five minutes away, and around thirty minutes from the stunning Prasonisi Beach on the southern tip of the island.
Villa Nepetaâs stunning terrace is one of its highlights. As well as the magnificent pool which is lined with sun loungers, thereâs a covered poolside bar, a dining area, barbecue and a luxurious hot tub looking out to the wonderful emerald ocean.
The interior comfortably accommodates up to eleven guests. You have a spacious living area with seating, large flatscreen TV and dining area looking out on the pool. The kitchen forms part of the same open-plan space, with an island and bar seating, a huge fridge freezer with ice maker, dishwasher and all the other appliances you could want. The house is fully air conditioned and also offers free Wi-Fi.
All of the bedrooms have a balcony, TV and en-suite bathroom (two with a bathtub), and offer lots of flexibility. There are two doubles, and another double with an additional bunk bed. The fourth bedroom is a twin room, and there is also room for one more guest on the sofa-bed in the living area.
Villa Nepeta is a great choice if you are looking to explore the southern part of Rhodes. As well as the Lindos Acropolis, you can visit the pretty whitewashed village it overlooks, and a string of lovely beaches like Glystra, Lardos and St Paulâs Bay.
Further north, youâll be around forty minutesâ drive from the beautiful waterfalls of Epta Piges and the challenging hiking terrain of Koufos Canyon. The capital, Rhodes Town, lies around one hour from Gennadi and is home to landmark sights such as the Street of the Knights, the Palace of the Grand Masters and perhaps the best-preserved medieval town in Europe.

Location:
You will never stop discovering something new in Rhodes. From north to south, itâs a place of contrasts, from secluded bays to big resorts, and quaint villages to impressive old towns.
Donât miss Rhodes Town itself â the capital is one of the largest and best-preserved medieval cities in Europe, but also has a modern side with all the attractions of a big city. If you fancy uncovering its story, try the Archaeological Museum, located at The Palace of the Grand Masters. This huge palace is the main attraction of a UNESCO World Heritage site, and you can take a tour of parts of it. Nearby, the Street of the Knights is another big heritage draw, famously lined with seven inns which represent the origins of the knights in question.
The city is great for shopping and dining, while other attractions include the Museum of Modern Greek Art, the Marine Aquarium located by Elli Beach, and the pretty Rodini Park â the oldest landscaped park in the world. Itâs also the centre of the islandâs nightlife scene, with a huge casino, cinemas and countless bars and clubs. If the Orfanidou Street strip doesnât appeal, the more sophisticated soirĂ©es of southern gem Lindos will.
Also famed for its nightlife, Faliraki lies just down the eastern coast from Rhodes town. Thatâs not its only attraction, however â the resort is reliable for family days out. The large beach is very popular, and thereâs a water-park and go-karting track. Idyllic Anthony Quinn Bay is a lovely chillout spot if it gets too full-on â its crystal waters are perfect for snorkelling.
Many more beaches lie down the eastern coast, such as Kolymbia, Agathi and highly rated Tsampika. Spectacular Prasonisi, as far south as you can go, is the beach of choice for kite-surfers and windsurfers. All sorts of sports are catered for around the island, with golf courses, tennis courts, scuba-diving centres and much more. Following Rhodesâ excellent walking and cycling routes will get you active while taking in the sublime scenery.
Also requiring a certain amount of effort, the clifftop Lindos Acropolis will take you about 20 minutes to reach from the village. Itâs well worth the climb â youâll remember the incredible sea views it enjoys from its vantage point. Look down to the village and admire Lindosâ many rooftop terraces, ideal places to reward yourself with a well-deserved dinner.
For more unforgettable sights, the Valley of the Butterflies and Epta Piges make a grand double bill. The valley is magical in summer when hordes of colourful butterflies emerge, while the seven waterfalls of Epta Piges are a real marvel. About 35 minutes apart, both sites offer lovely areas of woodland, restaurants and amenities.
