Boasting panoramic sea views and situated just 100 meters from a beach, this unique villa offers a harmonious blend of modern luxury and eco-friendly design. Ideal for couples or small groups, the villa features a private heated swimming. The villa is located only 3 kilometers from local taverns, cafes, bars, and a mini-market, all operational from April to October.Designed with bioclimatic architecture and adhering to nearly zero energy consumption principles, the villa seamlessly integrates with the natural surroundings. The villa has a single-floor layout comprising a double-bedded bedroom, a modern en-suite bathroom, a fully equipped living room with a sofa-bed, and a well-appointed open-plan kitchen. The villa is fully air-conditioned and equipped with Satellite TV and Wi-Fi coverage in all areas. Step outside to your private oasis, where a 28-square-meter swimming pool awaits (heated upon request at least one week prior to arrival in April, May, October, and November at an additional charge of €50 per night with a comfortable temperature of 22-25°C, depending on the weather) surrounded by comfortable sun loungers and outdoor furniture. A private terrace provides the perfect setting for alfresco dining or unwinding with the breathtaking views of the sea, pool, and lush garden. For your convenience, the property offers private parking with two designated spaces and a peaceful ambiance, ideal for relaxation.At the properties areas exclusive wellness services are offered, including Spa, Hamam, Massage, and Yoga sessions (available at an additional cost) while sunbeds, and umbrellas are available at the beach just 150 meters down the hill. Located in the serene and enchanting area of Agios Pavlos, the villa offers easy access to the fully organized main sandy beach and several other idyllic beaches nearby. The coastal village of Agios Pavlos (St. Paul) is located 58km south of Rethymnon city, west of Agia Galini, and very close to the tip of Cape Melissa. You can access the area by driving from the village Sachtouria.The bay has a beautiful beach with green deep waters and magnificent rocky seabed. Near the beach you can find a few taverns. Moreover, basic services are provided on the beach, such as umbrellas, sunbeds and pedal boats. Un vrai coin de paradis

Vue incroyable et confort absolu. Notre séjour fut idyllique dans ce coin très peu touristique de Crête. Le logement était à la hauteur de nos attentes. Les nombreuses attentions de Penelope nous ont beaucoup touchées et Nina qui s’est occupé de nous sur place était aux petits soins. Recommande à 1000%.

Great place to calm down

It‘s a beautiful place to isolate yourself. The villa is on a hill and in the middle of nowhere. It has a great view and a big pool. The interior and the whole concept are nice with a luxury touch. The hosts and staff are really kind and supportive. The bed is comfortable but all four pillows are quite hard to sleep on. At the moment are few parts of the road surrounding the villas is not paved so all the dirt flies around (and in the pool) when it gets windy, which happens quite often in that area.

Beautiful Solitude

Altera Caves is an absolutely beautiful and private setting with its own private beach that was usually just us or at most, one other couple. The owners (Penelope & Demetri) and Magararita were so kind and friendly. Being on the south side of Crete is so peaceful. Be ready to rent a car to get to the Cave's and to tour around. Crete is a big island and no matter where you stay you will probably need the car.

Meerblick soweit das Auge reicht

Wir hatten soooo einen schönen Urlaub in der Villa Ourania. Es war unser erster Urlaub mit Baby und Nina hat uns wirklich süß versorgt wenn uns an etwas fehlte. (Hochstuhl und Mixer für die Babynahrung wurde innerhalb eines Tages besorgt, und das ohne Aufforderung :)) Die Unterkunft ist mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet. Der Blick ist einfach umwerfend. Sucht man einen Ort zum absoluten entspannen, bist du hier bei Altera Cave echt richtig. Hier steht die Zeit. Und mein Interior-Design-Herz schlägt hier wirklich höher!

Outstanding property!

These villa's are something else, beautifully designed with the best views to wake up to every morning. Hosts were fantastic, our house lady Nina couldn't have done any more for us from checking the pool every day, changing our towels and bed linen and baking us delicious cake! Penelope and her team are super efficient and again couldn't do more for us. The property is excellent standard and if you want to get away from the normal tourist trail this is the place to be, a true gem which we will definitely be returning to in the future. Just stunning !
