Un endroit calme sur West Grand Traverse Bay juste au nord du village de Suttons Bay est le Lodge Chalet un confortable 3 chambres 2 salles de bain maison de style lodge. Concept ouvert salon / salle à manger / cuisine donne sur les eaux magnifiques de la baie. Grandes fenêtres sur le bord de l'eau offrent une vue imprenable. Le lever du soleil du matin est à ne pas manquer. Vous voudrez vous promener avec votre café et prendre un siège sur le pont au bord du lac et prendre tout.

Cette maison accueille jusqu'à 6 personnes avec 3 chambres et 2 salles de bains. 2 chambres sont au niveau principal avec 1 lit queen et 2 lits jumeaux. 1 salle de bain complète à l'étage principal. La chambre de niveau supérieur de style loft dispose d'un lit king-size et d'une salle de bain complète. Les draps et les serviettes sont inclus. La maison dispose également d'air central.

La cuisine offre un espace pratique pour préparer les repas et servir directement à la salle à manger. Laveuse / sécheuse.

À l'extérieur, profitez d'une immense cour qui descend jusqu'à l'eau. Juste à côté de la salle de séjour profiter d'une grande terrasse avec barbecue à gaz. Il y a aussi un pont au bord du lac juste au bord de l'eau ainsi qu'un foyer. Beaucoup de sièges pour s'amuser sur la plage. Les levers et le lever de la lune sont un bonus ici. Pouvez-vous dire détendez-vous! Cette zone est située à quelques minutes du village de Suttons Bay, Leelanau Sands Casino et Omena. Profitez de la route panoramique M-22 (cette maison est juste à côté de M-22) Assurez-vous de visiter toutes les communautés de bord de mer charmante sur la péninsule de Leelanau. Vous trouverez beaucoup de bons endroits pour dîner, des dizaines de caves, des brasseries et des distilleries. Boutiques de cadeaux amusantes, cafés, galeries d'art aussi. Assurez-vous de visiter le musée Eyaawing et le centre culturel juste en bas de la rue. Tant de choses à voir et à faire dans cette région magnifique.
Premier été estival soleil-soleil. Les week-ends du Memorial Day et de la fête du Travail exigent trois nuits.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are repeat visitors to this house. It's an amazing location and the views and privacy are unmatched. Two small things I would change. 1. Needs a new lockbox for the key. We struggled this year and last with that. The latch doesn't work properly. We followed the instructions given and it just isn't simple. 2. Needs more chairs by the fire pit and needs some sort of seating on the lake front deck. There were only 4 useable chairs for 6 guests. Overall, we adore this house and can't wait to come back.

Wonderful relaxing and cozy retreat.

There were some mild cleanliness issues, but it did not disrupt our stay. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

Breath-taking

Very clean and modern lakefront cottage with gorgeous views of Suttons Bay. Comfortable beds and lots of space. Nice kitchen/dining area. Outside accomodations were wonderful, including nice furniture, a big gas grill on the upper deck and plenty of seating on the lower deck. Enjoyed a late night fire on the rocky shore and floating on the crystal clear water in the Bay.

Beautiful View but house is just ok

The view from the house is spectacular! It’s right on the bay and has gorgeous windows so that is by far the highlight of the property. You can swim but it is very rocky so you would need water shoes if you have kids that want to swim or go on the beach at all. I gave 4 stars because the house itself could be cleaner but the property definitely needs some maintenance. There’s spider webs everywhere you can’t even sit on any of the outdoor furniture and there are allot of weeds. the landscaping overall needs to be improved to be a 5 star property in my opinion. We love this area and absolutely enjoyed our vacation but I don’t think I would book this house again for the price we paid.

Not worth the price

This could be a beautiful place to stay, however the house was not clean at all. The outdoor area leading to the water was all overgrown and weeds were everywhere through the decking. We had four people stay and there were only two chairs for people to sit on down by the water. The patio furniture on the upper deck was so dirty you could not utilize it at all. I side the home there was a two inch layer of dust on every surface, the sofa was broken, the tv was broken so they placed one under neath it. The upstairs tv did not work at all. For having a property management company over see this property it was a mess.

Great Location, but the house was in pretty poor shape.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would have appreciated knowing the house was under construction. The windows and walls have missing casements/frames. The bathroom towel hangers are secured and kept falling off the wall. The closet was missing a doorknob, and the vent registers were barely hanging on. Also, the second bathroom was not cleaned. There was hair and dried toothpaste in the sink and the shower had hair in it as well. Pretty gross. What made this even more disappointing is that I stayed in this rental prior to the upgrades, and a more reasonable price. For what we paid, I would have expected renovations to be finished and the house to be clean.

Manager left out some important details.

I picked this location because my family and I were attending a wedding at the Black Star Farm. The property is very beautiful. I’m not happy with some of the things the manager should have made me aware of like the bathroom sink is stopped up, the tub faucet, handles and shower head in the bathroom are rusted, the kitchen window and door frame are exposed/incomplete which left a draft in the house.

Always quiet and beautiful!

Reviewer Comments: Hello from the Smith's, I am writing this review and I hope it is construed as constructive and not to be posted!First, I would like to say, as we have been there 5 years in a row, we feel that we have seen some good progress with updates around the property. The one update is new windows. Although it is not completed on the inside since trim around the windows is missing. With the new windows they have screens that allowed us to open the windows if we wanted. Before, the windows were without screens and covered with spiders. The prize windows that give the fabulous view of the lake were dirty.The property is all about the view. The property has trees that line the edge and run down to the lake. The trees are producing branches and limbs that lean into the view and will soon ruin the view if not cleaned up. It is actually an easy clean up anyone with a saw could do it.We have never had problems with bugs but this year we had cockroaches inside. It was sporadic, but by the end of the visit, we knew it was an issue. Nobody wants to bring that back with them. When we got home, everything had to be inspected before being brought back into the house. As we found out, these cockroaches can also live outside. That explains why we have seen them outside around the entrance door, on my vehicle when packing to go home and even on the deck at the edge of the lake. The property was sprayed I believe after we arrived because I noticed the posted notes the next day to wait until the application dries.We have not decided to rent next year because of the bug problem.Sincerely yours, Doug and Tessa Smith

Lodge Chalet stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I really had a wonderful experience! We normally go to the Outer Banks but decided to try closer to home. The cottage was cozy and had been updated - bathrooms and windows were new (no trim around windows - dint bother us, but might others). Very clean. Beautiful view of the lake! Very close to Suttons Bay, Omena, Northport restaurants and activities and can be be in Traverse City or Leelanau in 20 to 25 minutes. We rented kayaks and they were delivered! It was awesome! Definitely recommend this cottage as well as Visit Up North Rentals - they were awesome to work with! One issue - downstairs TV wasn’t functioning properly and was replaced. One recommendation - add a broom and we would sweep the kitchen/dining area floor through out the week. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful views, private and secluded. Wasn’t the easiest place to spot from the road and the driveway/landscaping was slightly overgrown (making it harder, probably due to end of season)- but other than that a total gem.

The Chalet in Suttons Bay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The weather was rainy and cool but that didn’t stop us. The Chalet has a wonderful view overlooking Lake Michigan. We went down to the lakeshore and hunted for Petoskey Stones. The Chalet was clean and very updated. The only things I would change would be to move the outside patio dining table to the other side of the deck so the view of the lake isn’t obstructed when sitting on the couch. Also, leave instructions on how to operate the fireplace, unless it’s broken and that’s why we couldn’t get it to work. Also, provide placemats and coasters so the tabletops don’t get ruined. Otherwise, everything was lovely!

Mother Daughter weekend getaway

The only problem we had was with the remotes to the TV’s, but really not a big deal because we really was that interested in TV. We all know the area very well and love it. Perfect place to getaway with our daughters. Visited a couple wineries, did some hiking and nice dinner at Nittolo’s.
