Enjoy the best of the beach, pool and bay while soaking up all the luxurious amenities found in the exclusive Sunset Island private community!
Newly renovated, bright and family-friendly, this 3 bedroom 2 bathroom condo is beautifully decorated, well-appointed, and perfectly located in a very safe, private community in mid-town OC that offers tons to do for kids & adults alike. And it's a quick walk to splash in the waves at the ocean or to enjoy the private bayside community beaches and pools! You're sure to make fantastic memories with a stay at our place.
Fully renovated Spring 2024, renovations include new flooring throughout, new granite countertops & tiled backsplash, stainless steel hood, a new island and farmhouse sink, all new stainless steel appliances, fresh paint throughout and new furniture including all new beds and mattresses, new shower enclosure, new lighting, new window treatments, new balcony furniture, etc.! It's stunning!
Our condo is beautifully situated at the head of the Sunset Island lake so it has gorgeous views of the lake and it's fountains. The fountains are lit with multi-color lights at night so you have a light show every evening from the privacy of your deck! Grab a cocktail, sit back, and watch the light show! It also attracts all sorts of birds so it's great for bird watchers. There is also an interactive fountain feature at the lake that children love and is easily accessible from our building!
Bedrooms: The primary bedroom is a large master suite with direct access to the deck, a king-size bed, and a large bathroom with double sinks, a walk-in shower and a large soaking tub. Bedroom #2 has a queen bed, and bedroom #3 has two full beds. Both bedrooms #2 and #3 are conveniently located close to the main bath which features a shower and tub.
Both bathrooms have hairdryers.
The dining table easily seats 8, and the large, new island will seat 4.
There are smart tv's in every bedroom and a large smart tv in the living room. Sign into your favorite TV apps (don't forget to sign out before you check out) or bring your own Roku or fire stick to plug directly into the TVs.
The living room also opens out to the large balcony.
The condo is located on the 2nd floor and is easily accessible by both elevator and stairs. Luggage carts are available in the garage area making it super easy to transport all your belongings from your vehicle upon arrival/departure!
Sunset Island Resort Passes, included in your rental, covers Sunset Island's unparalleled amenities. This provides you with up to 6 passes for:
The outside pool (open Memorial Day to Labor Day) with bar service and the olympic size indoor pool which is open year round and heated in the cool months, (no pool passes are needed for ages 3 & under), access to the Club House, 2 parking passes** (one in a covered garage), gym passes for access to the state of the art gym, access to 3 private bayside beaches, 2 miles of private walking/jogging trails, and access to the fishing/crabbing pier.
Upon arrival guests can pick up their parking passes and facility passes at the community office located in the Club House (by the pool) at 1 Beach Side Drive.
**Additional facility passes are $70 per pass for the length of your stay (or $25 for a day pass) and may be purchased directly once arriving in Sunset Island. (Note: during the summer months additional parking passes are limited and are on a first come first serve basis.)
Parking is for two vehicles and provides you one assigned spot in the garage under the building, and one spot (non-assigned) in the crushed clamshell parking areas along the community street. There is additional free street parking on 67th street.
We do not allow group rentals. This family rental requires the primary renter to be at least 25. ID is required to check-in. Online bookings of group rentals will not be honored. No high school or college groups, no Bachelor/Bachelorette groups.
Occupancy: 8 (includes infants and children)
Guests will need to bring:
- Sheet sets for beds and bath towels (Or guests can easily make their own arrangements to have sheets and towels delivered from a local rental service. Host can provide contact information for rental services if requested, please ask.)

Hi! I'm a 50-something mom of high school and college kids, balancing home, pets, two businesses, and life in general. I'm slightly obsessed with HGTV and renovations which makes me grateful to have a very skilled contractor for a hubby (I'm not so sure he feels the same about the HGTV thing though lol)! In the winter we're both multi-certified ski instructors (yep, a third job), and in the warm months we love our beach time when we can get it!
Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
It's absolutely beautiful! Plus it's right in mid-town Ocean City so you can get everywhere easily, but when you're in Sunset Island you feel like you're in your own private community!
Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?
We've poured our heart and soul into renovating this condo. We LOVE the super large, custom built island (built by my uber talented husband) that seats multiple people and makes the kitchen feel gigantic and super social! We also love the large, super comfy and casual living room which handles a lot of people comfortably. Same for our balcony set up! And people rave about our beds, a few have even asked where we bought our mattresses (they're all new too)! A favorite thing is the location because we can walk up to the ocean in about 5 minutes if we want to enjoy the "big beach", or in two minutes we can be down at the private Sunset Island beach next to the large, beautiful pool (with bar service during the Summer!). We also love that the community has a security guard at the entrance, so we feel super safe 24/7...perfect for long evening walks around the island looking at the bay.
