Welcome to Limahana Maha (Crew Rest) at Maalaea Bay, in Maui! Lovely spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo on a soft sandy beach that extends for 7 miles with spectacular ocean, Island and Mountain views, including Haleakala National Park. Beautifully furnished with everything you need for a relaxing vacation in paradise. You will be able to enjoy the refreshing and relaxing ocean breezes, swaying palm trees, elegant landscaping and of course, the beautiful beach. Listen to the waves lapping on the shore, enjoy views of whales frolicking in Maalaea Bay during the winter months, snorkel or swim with the Honu (Turtles). Enjoy this perfect setting for an evening or morning stroll. This well stocked unit is on the ground floor and is steps away from the heated swimming pool, barbecue area and an amazing sandy beach that is never crowded. This is a great condo for young families with children or Seniors that don't want to deal with stairs or elevators. Just a short walk to Maui Ocean Center, Maalaea Marina for all boating, fishing or snorkeling activities. This quaint seaside little village and marina boasts restaurants, small shops for souvenirs and services, mini golf, and the Maui Ocean Center Aquarium. This condo is located in a perfect central location for access to the Airport, Golfing, Maui's breathtaking nature sights, historic towns and all the restaurants and shopping you may want. Close to everything for your vacation fun, yet offers the option of privacy and quiet solitude. You can enjoy your morning coffee on the condo's lanai, or glass of wine after a busy day with your crew. All beach amenities, wifi, washer/dryer and fully stocked kitchen are included in this unit. Also stocked for your vacation fun are beach accessories, along with snorkel gear, masks, beach towels and beach chairs. The well stocked kitchen is now updated with new granite countertops and new stainless steel appliances. For guests comfort, we also have added a new Gel Memory Foam mattress for the pull out couch, making it comfortable for 6 guests. For year around comfort this unit is equipped with Air Conditioning through out for the warmer Maui days. Live your best memories at Limahana Maha, Crew Rest!

Amazing Hosts

Mary and Mike were excellent hosts for this property. They were responsive and attentive and you can tell that they truly cared about treating their guests like family. The property is in a great location that made our trip to Maui all the more special. I would highly recommend them.

Quiet beautiful little gem

This place is beautiful and perfect to have quite get away. You can explore the island and come back home to just peace and quiet. I was a little nervous about having 2 younger children here because of one of the reviews and all the condo rules, but it was just the opposite. All the neighbors we encountered and got to visit with were so awesome and made you feel right at home. The condo itself was very clean and cozy. Comfortable beds and everything you could possibly need for pool and beach days. Definitely felt like home away from home❤️

Wonderful!

Our family ( grandparents, parents, and young children) enjoyed our stay in this unit, and being oceanfront was fabulous! We saw sea turtles and whales while enjoying the gorgeous view. It is a lovely condo, just as pictured. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and we cooked the majority of our meals at the condo. AC worked well and we made good use of the washer and dryer. There are books, board games, cleaning supplies, and a first aid kit among other things, so well stocked. The property is very well maintained and the other vacationers and owners were friendly. Staying on the ground floor and having easy access to the pool and property grounds was perfect for our family. The BBQ area is a gathering place in the evening. The pool was a bit chilly but we swam in it almost every day. We enjoyed the view from the lanai and often watched the sunset from the BBQ area. There is no longer a beach in front due to erosion but it is a short walk to Haycraft Park and to the beautiful and very long, Sugar Beach. We spent lots of time on the beach, swimming, playing and walking. The condo has beach chairs, boogie boards, and sand toys. There were a few windy days but without the wind, it may have been uncomfortably hot. We have stayed at numerous rental units and this is certainly one of the best. Mary and Mike were very helpful and accommodating throughout the booking process. We hope to return to Maui and Crew Rest in the future. Mahalo Mary and Mike!

Faulty key/lock situation

This is a great place to stay but we could not open the door using the provided key upon arrival. Property owners' response was slow and not helpful at all. We eventually were able to get the door open (after 1 1/2 hours). No useful support from owners or VRBO. Unless the lock is replaced we do not recommend staying here.

Great stay in Maui

My family and I stayed here for a couple of days at the start of our trip to Maui and it was excellent. The location of the property was very convenient- right by the Maui Ocean Center and between Kehei and Kaanapali (ie, perfect middle ground to pretty much the entire island). The view out the back side of the property was excellent! We saw lots of whales jumping and waving tales (stayed middle February so prime season for whales). Property was as listed and property owners were excellent and super helpful. Wonderful start to our dream Maui vacation!
