Relaxing and great location

My husband and I were looking for an uncomplicated place to stay on Clearwater Beach that was centrally located, clean and relaxing. Spring Hill Suites was perfect from parking to check in to our clean and cozy room. We could walk to many options to eat drink or just people watch. The hotel is one street over from the beach and an easy stroll to enjoy the day’s sunshine or evening sunset. The breakfast buffet was incredible with many fine staff attending to replenishing and tidying up any spillage. Great stay!

Clearwater Beach

Enjoyed staying here. Room was good. Listing said room had a view of the harbor but it really didn’t unless you stood on your tippy toes and crooked your neck to peak around the corner to get a glimpse at a sliver of the harbor. So that was misleading but we didn’t stay in our room that much anyway so not a deal breaker. The hotels breakfast was not your ordinary continental breakfast it was delicious with many rotating options. Definitely a good start to the day. The valet system ran like a well oiled machine and was definitely worth it just be sure to figure that extra amount into your nightly stay. Room was nice, clean and comfortable. Friendly staff made it a pleasant stay. It is very nice to be within walking distance of most things.

Location is great, which outweighs other issues

The room had a broken towel holder, but no big deal. We're there to go to the beach, not hang out in the room! The breakfast ranged from dreadful to adequate. (The hard-boiled eggs made me think that eggs have three states of matter: liquid, solid, and plastic.) There was never any bacon or ham -- only sausage (?) patties and links. We called them "iguana medallions". HAHA. But again, we didn't come to have a great breakfast and a beautiful hotel room -- we came because it's ONE BLOCK from the beach. Fantastic location.

We got there got a free upgrade. Amazing service. Nice and clean rooms. Amazing pool with a great view. Beds were very comfortable and ac hit the spot. Amazing access across the street to the beach. Liquor store and great restaurants within a very very short walk and lots of activities to do. Had a great time. Must admit though their breakfast is really gross. I got expired milk but they made up for it by giving me free valet for two days and two free Starbucks drinks!! Love the staff. Great helpful people. If you are looking for a good breakfast place Ryan’s Isalnd Cafe was AMAZING. Best breakfast I have ever had. Enjoy your stay. You can’t get a better deal.

No more than 2 PERSONS!!

The room is tight for more than two people. The listing has the sofa bed/trundle listed as sleeping accommodations. NOT THE CASE. Trust me. Should not be used for more than sitting on. Listing is misleading.

Clean and great location!

The room was spacious and clean. Check in was easy and staff was friendly. The market across the street was so convenient for lunch items, drinks and snacks. We didn’t have a car and it was a short walk to beach and many restaurants. Breakfast offered a variety of items and was hot and fresh. Would definitely stay again.

Great location granted it is not right on the beach. That said, this is as good as it gets! Clean, spacious, great staff, breakfast buffet, across from a supermarket. Find out!

Great stay

My hotel was less than a 2 minute walk to the beach, in which i could go through this beach store to get to so my wife loved that. We had all kinds of restaurants and attractions to check out all within walking distance so we parked at the hotel when we got there and didnt have to get in our car the rest of the time. We also had tickets to disney world and was only an hour away from the park so all in all amazing experience.

It worked.

The location was good. Close to the pier, stores, boat rides and good eating. Room was much smaller than expected and I really wished we could have got a balcony. The pool was decent. Clean hotel. The only reason we stayed here was because we couldn’t find a VRBO home available or one that had the location this place had. Overall it did the job and wasn’t overly priced but I don’t know that I’d stay here again.

Good location, bad front desk people.

The hotel was a good place to stay at, great location. But the front desk people are rude, specially if you book with a 3rd party, they dont let u upgrade to anything or give you anything.

Property was great and close to everything you need or want. Only issues is the price of parking at the hotel. As a guess I feel amount a day for parking is to high for a paying guess. Charge me a lesser amount per day would be ok. I know there was teams staying there that the parking was free because their team was there. That deal was not offered to my team.

The room had a modern feel and just enough room for us to spread out. The room was clean and in order. We had a great view of the bay and the pool. We will be staying again.

Very nice location and great accommodations

Great room and hotel. The staff was friendly, accommodating and the check in was quick. Pool was very nice and proximity to the beach was great. With the current nature of things with Covid, I would have expected a cleaner room. Beer bottles behind the night stand and a broken bulb in a bedside lamp. Definitely not up to my standards for being clean and ready for the ne t guest.
