This is a secluded lakefront cabin. The lake is quiet (max 10HP boats allowed) and great for fishing.

The cabin is a brand new timber frame build on 10 acres with almost 1000' of lakefront!

You can swim in the lake. Later in the season it will get some algae, but still great to swim.

New clean spacious home met our needs. We appreciated having kayaks to use and a private dock right in front of the home.

Great new listing

The place is beautiful and still smells new. It’s well stocked will all the things you may need. The kayaks are a nice touch as well. I would definitely recommend.

Perfect for us

Beautiful and spacious on the inside and rustic on the outside. This fits exactly what me and my lids were looking for. We didnt use the kayaks be would have if the weather was warmer. Its such a nice gesture. Spotless Beds were very comfortable. Beautiful eating area. Kitchen could use a few more plates/bowls and serving spoons/plates. But other than that it was well stocked with small appliances and quality large appliances. If you want to have a fire, there is a great place to purchase wood 12 minute drive towards Princeton onthr righthand side. Bring a lighter/matches. The hot tub took about 1 day to warm up, unless I was doing it wrong! It was fun to use! Thank you!

Chain Lake Gem

What a great place for a family vacation. The house is beautiful and very well appointed with all the key amenities. It was very comfortable for our family of 5 with 2 kids over 20 and a big teen. We had our own fishing boat and spent a lot of time fishing or boating down to the rope swing beach to swim. The fishing was great although there was an algae bloom which made the water a little murky for swimming. We still swam though, it was fine. Our only challenge was the door code that didn’t work when we arrived, but after connecting to the wifi (no cell service) the host responded immediately and help us out. We also struggled with the stove as it was an induction cook top which can be tricky to cook on. If the pot isn’t in exactly the right spot the burner shuts off. Mom was cursing every meal she cooked. The BBQ is a little sketchy as some of the knobs don’t work. Finally the master bed is extremely soft. If you don’t do well in an unsupportive mattress you will likely struggle. We were there when it was 36 degrees Celsius and the house stayed cool most of the day only heating up in the late afternoon when the sun hit the floor to ceiling windows in the living area. Once it started to cool off outside the screened windows let the cool air in and we were fine. Never too hot. Hopefully we can stay again next year.
