The two of us needed a small place in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area for two weeks and this apartment was perfect. This one bedroom apartment is small, but fits two comfortably. The neighborhood is very nice, and a pleasure to stroll through. It was also quiet, which was a plus for us. There was a table and chairs outside the unit where we could sit and enjoy the sun.
The neighborhood is bounded by main streets that run through Scottsdale and Phoenix, so getting to stores and restaurants was easy. There is a major grocery a few blocks away.
It is an older place. Its concrete block (which means it stayed cool inside.) But nothing about the age or some interesting construction quirks has any impact on the livability of the space. In fact, we kind of like slightly quirky independent places. And for the price, compared to hotels and especially peak season in Phoenix, it was more than adequate for us. I'd rent it again if we ever needed to be in Phoenix/Scottsdale for an extended time.
