The space
Welcome to The Sonsoleá Host - a series of vacation homes in the town of Luquillo that we own, remodeled, clean and host. Check out our profile to read our story and see other homes.

The Oasis one bedroom Suite has a private front porch with dining table and hammock, master bedroom with queen size bed, cold a/c, living room, kitchentte with fridge, microwave, coffe maker and toaster and luxurious en suite bathroom with antique armoire, walk in shower and floating bathtub.

Decoration and furniture has been hand picked and brought from our World Travels. There are deep intentions on every corner of this space.

Our location is awesome, please enjoy it and walk the town to have breakfast or dinner, watch the surfers catch waves in the morning, sit on the front porch to have coffe and smile to the locals that bike/walk up and down the street, explore the beach and climb over the giant rock to enjoy the views. This is the true Puerto Rican experience, make the most out of it.


Cleaning Protocols:

We own, host and clean the houses ourselves. Strict cleaning and desinfection protocols are in place. Upon check in guests will recieve cleaning certificate and a copy of the protocol summary. Our main priority is to keep our guests (and ourselves, ofcourse) safe.

Please note that every wednesday morning garbage truck comes by around 5/6 am and noise will probably wake you up. This only occurs on wednesday morning so please take note if you are booking tuesday night. *Noise lasts less than 5 minutes but we want to give you a heads up.

Guest access
You have a private entrance with sanitizing station and private front porch. There is one more unit on the first floor of the house so it is possible to cross other guests or ourselves in the outdoor patio hall. Face mask use is mandatory on the outdoor hall.

Other things to note
Like in all of Puerto Rico: windows have screens but if you leave doors open mosquitoes will enter, there may be stray dogs and cats in the area (a very unfortunate problem we struggle with island wide), there are lizards in the backyard, birds, insects and pretty flowers. Luquillo town is home to many festivals with artesians and live music. Loud music is part of Puertorrican idiosyncrasy. There is noise potential in the area, kids playing on the street and music every now and then.

Every last friday of the month there is a festival called Playarte with live salsa and reggue music on the boardwalk restaurants.

Suite has one a/c unit in the bedroom that is strong enough to cool entire space.

🖤 Our location is great because you have La Pared Beach, restaurants and Town Square within walking distance. The water just infront of the house is too wavy for swimming but just a 9 min walk away the reef breaks the waves and water is great for non professional surfers like us.
🖤 Luquillo is known for its beautiful sunrises.
🖤 Biggest Turtle in the World (El Tinglar) hatches at La Pared.
🖤 El Yunque Rainforest is within a 2 minute drive (waterfalls, hiking, rope swings into rivers, natural river slides).
🖤 Luquillo is famous for its 80 kiosks by the water where you will find dozens of restaurants with live music, bars and gift shops.
🖤 Horseback riding.
🖤 Catamrans.
🖤 Snorkeling .
🖤 Surfing classes & professional surfing.
🖤 Fajardo is just a 15 minute drive away. There you have Seven Seas Beach, Las Cabezas de San Juan Natural Reserve and the Ferry to sister islands Viqeues and Culebra.
🖤 Old San Juan is just a 50 minute drive away.
