Looking for a stay that’s full of warmth, charm, and a touch of fun? You’ve found it!
Tucked away in a peaceful garden setting, Studio Twenty5 is a character-filled space that blends classic Kiwi bach vibes with modern comforts. It’s relaxed, welcoming, and just a little bit quirky, perfect for couples, small families, or friends travelling together.
Inside the open-plan studio, you’ll find a double bed, a wood-burning fire, and a cosy lounge area to unwind. A second double bedroom offers extra privacy, making the space ideal for groups of up to four. There’s also a Smart TV with Netflix, Neon & Freeview, plus fast Wi-Fi.
The well-equipped kitchenette includes an air fryer, two-burner stovetop, microwave, fridge/freezer, toastie maker, toaster, kettle, and complimentary tea and coffee.
In true Kiwi bach style, the private bathroom is separate from the studio, just a few steps outside across the deck. This layout offers extra space and privacy, and adds to the retreat-style experience.
The bathroom includes a gas-powered shower with excellent pressure, a toilet, and a basin. We provide fresh towels, essential toiletries, and soft bathrobes for your comfort, especially handy on cooler mornings.
Outside, enjoy a garden fire under the stars, cook on the BBQ, or take a refreshing dip in the seasonal pool - perfect in summer or a cold plunge in winter!

We’re Sheree and Geoff, based right here in Richmond, New Zealand. Studio Twenty5 is part of our home. We love restoring old spaces with character, spending time outdoors, and sharing what we love about our region with others. Hosting gives us the chance to meet people from all over and offer them a comfortable, relaxed space to unwind. It’s always a joy to see guests enjoying the place we’ve created.
Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
We love where we live - it’s peaceful, laid-back, and close to everything. There are great cafés and wineries just down the road, beaches and bike trails nearby, and Nelson and the Abel Tasman are an easy drive away. It’s the kind of place where you can do a lot, or not much at all, and still feel like you’ve had a proper break.

We love bringing unique spaces back to life and creating relaxed, memorable places for people to stay. Studio Twenty5 was once a 1950s school dental clinic — now lovingly transformed into a cosy garden retreat, full of character and comfort.
We’ve kept its quirky charm while adding thoughtful touches like a woodburner, outdoor fire, and a seasonal pool (not heated), so guests can enjoy the space year-round. You’ll also find Room Twenty5 on the property- our intimate live music venue. There won’t be any shows during your stay, but you're welcome to check out the space or even borrow a guitar.
