Appartement en premiere ligne au port de la duquesa avec de magnifiques vues port et mer, avec une chambre, salle de bains, toilettes, et une cuisine équippée. depuis le salon, on accède à la terrasse avec vues port. l'access à la piscine est tout proche de l'appartement. climatisation centrale, wifi, telelvision internationale et parking privé dans l'immeuble d'à côté.la residence jouit de deux piscines, accès directe au port et à la plage, 24h sécurité et très proche de Sabinillas et el Castillo. une promenade tout au long de la plage avec ses chiringuitos

Great location, lovely apartment

The apartment had everything we needed and a beautiful view over the marina, however only 2 of the glass doors of the enclosed balcony would open and the glass was quite dirty so restricted the view and the air coming in somewhat, the fly screen was broken and not attached and fell onto my head luckily not injuring me, we did report the issues to the agent but nothing was done about it. We had no Wi-Fi for the 1st day and a half therefore no tv either, no tv in the bedroom only the broken bracket on the wall, and no shower screen/ curtain in bathroom so made having a shower difficult and messy. But probably the worst thing was the awful smell of dirty drains in the bathroom, we kept pouring bleach down the drain but the smell came back within hours. This should be an excellent property however the maintenance lets it down, we would not stay again unless these issues were resolved. I tried to communicate with the property owner/agent through VRBO a few times but received no replies and had to email the agent separately to get any response which is not acceptable.

Disappointing

We stayed in Marina Real 221 last year. We liked it so much that we booked it again. It is a great location and if you like people watching sitting on the balcony is for you. However , my last review recommended a shower screen. That was ignored so you are still unable to take a proper shower. But worse than that the main bathroom smelt of sewage and some days was unusable. There was also the smell as you entered the building. When I complained about it I was told that there was a problem with the block and there was nothing they could do. We didn’t experience this last time or the 5 weeks we spent last year on the other side of the block. But it certainly spoilt this holiday. Saying that Duquesa is a lovely place to visit and we will go back again but to a different property. When we arrived there was half a toilet roll in the main bathroom and nothing in the 2nd toilet. We felt that was a bit poor. There are no beach towels provided. However , we were provided some on the 2nd request. The property is looking tiered and looked like it had been burgled I’m assuming the owner has moved out.

Great location

We stayed for 5 weeks in May on the other side of the Marina Real as was advised it was quieter. However, this time we wanted to enjoy a better view so went for 221 We we’re not disappointed. Great view, people watching and listen to the music from the balcony. When we retired to bed, which was on the other side of the apartment you couldn’t hear a thing. The only thing with the bedroom being pool side is you get woken up sometimes by the selfish brigade drunk and shouting. But that only happened twice. When we arrived there were only two towels each (1 bath towel 1 hand towel) and nothing for the pool. Some extra ones were brought up on request, but maybe worth mentioning it when booking. The apartment was good value for money, very clean and nicely equipped also had good wifi. And finally the weirdest thing was there was no shower screen. I can’t understand why. But hopefully the owner will supply one after reading this. Otherwise bring your own shower curtain 🤣 . We would definitely book again. Thank you. It was all good. Just missing a shower screen.
